I have become interested in the idea of a weak end time church; both as individual members and as a corporate church.
Do the Gentiles still provoked the Jew to jealousy?
And is that even still a function of the church in the endtime?

I think it’s the overall function of the church in the context of its relationship to Israel, not necessarily limited to any specific point in time.

Romans1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Agreed. Until the Church is “harpazoed”, I believe it remains the calling of the Church (by virtue of simply being that which the Lord has called the Church to be) to provoke us Jews to jealousy. I am thankful it worked on me. :Hi:

John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."

Their hearts are generally hardened at this time and they just don’t/won’t get that Yeshua is God. They think we are deluded and mistaken. But our sudden departure from around the world and Israel together will be a real eye opener indeed. And they are cognizant of the fact that massive supernatural fulfillments of prophecy has tended to be focused on Israel. Not the Church. I think they will indeed be jealous and incredulous. The harvest will be huge.

I am convinced of this, that the One who began a good action among you will bring it to completion by the Day of the Messiah Jesus. Philippians 1:6

The many blessings and heart set of the Church should make some Jews jealous. As well as being partakers of the world’s hatred, should also speak resoundingly to Jews! We may be deceived or delusional in their eyes, but to the spiritual Jew, the persecution of Christians truly speaks to their heart, theological confusion aside!

Though the Jews experienced massive persecutions in the Holocaust, they were indeed not alone. Man’s inhumanity to man has never been totally exclusive. Various people groups and races have suffered as well.

Never having put the idea of martyr’s as a proof and a point of provocation for the Jewish nation before, seems to accomplish much in God’s economy!!! May our blood, point to His!

If my understanding of Zechariah 13:8-9 is accurate, there will indeed be millions of Jews who will ultimately turn to Yeshua and recognize Him for who He is, the Mashiach of Israel (Messiah). These last days believing Jews who survive to the end of Daniel’s 70th week will look upon Him whom they have pierced and mourn for Him as one mourns for an only begotten son. They will be the “all” of the promised “all Israel will be saved.” Yet, while millions will be saved, it appears twice as many will tragically perish at the hands of Antichrist.

“And it shall come to pass in all the land,” says the Lord, “That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But one–third shall be left in it:I will bring the one–third through the fire, will refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”

The way that reads to me, twice as many Jews will perish as the number who will come to salvation through faith in Messiah during Daniel’s 70th week. For me, this is one of those mind-boggling scenarios that I cannot fully grasp and must leave in the just and righteous hands of the One who created the concept of justice and righteousness. Surely the God of heaven is the definer of what is right and the One who ALWAYS does it, regardless of my ability to fully understand it.

I sense weakness in the church. It does not frighten me because it may be a part of the plan. I do not sense weakness in Christ.
However, I do believe the church is to make the Jew jealous, and I do not see evidence of that happening.
