    Psalm 18:2
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

    Thanks, Loz!

Interesting stuff, although, I’m fairly sure that the Bride doesn’t call her Groom back. The Rapture is a set day and I say that because we know the Rapture has to happen before God’s fury is unleashed on Gog’s forces.

Ezekiel 38:10 – “‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan:”

Ezekiel 38:14 – “”Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “On that day when My people Israel are living securely, will you not know it?”

Reading Ezekiel 38&39 makes it pretty clear that the Gog/Magog attack is on a specific day. Which means there is a specific end date for this dispensation, which means that there is a specific date for the Rapture and we are moving towards it whether or not Christians are calling the Lord back. I am definitely NOT saying don’t ask for Him to come back. I’ve been asking Him to come back for a few years. However, God has a timetable and when the time is right, He will come get us. :yahoo:

I concur with the preceding comments. I do not see in the scriptures the idea that the Lord’s return for His Bride will somehow be hastened if we can muster, either individually or collectively, an increased level of yearning or preparation for Him. I am open to instruction/correction, but I am not aware of such a teaching.

John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."

    interesting.
for the last couple of days I have been having trouble accessing this site. since i am the one who always warns about not becoming overly invested in online activity, i had to patiently wait it out. it seems Amir has been having online troubles, too.
after the Rapture did not happen in 2015, i began to ask what am I supposed to do now? slowly i became aware that at this point in time, i was to ask the Father for the Groom to come … not simply to pray for rapture.
it is nice to see that others are getting that call.
during the month of December i had many evil things befall me. then a nonbeliever told me that i looked like a priest. of course i do, i am a priest in Church of the Body of Jesus Christ. if it is my lot to get to the door early, i will hold it while others come in.
    Come, Lord Jesus! Come!
