MemberWhat a grand idea Kolleen!
Thinking this morning about how close the Lord is to us, and much of the time we are unaware of it. Not a hair falls from your head without the Lord knowing about it!
I’ve mentioned before that sometimes I change the words of secular songs to worship Him. Well, I’ve found that while I’m working a tune just pops into my head — for no apparent reason — and then as the tune develops in the back of my mind, I recall the words. Yesterday I found myself softly singing the words to Carole King’s song You’ve Got a Friend, and I realized that the Lord was giving me a message. I’m sure most of you know the words:
You just call out my name / And you know wherever I am / I’ll come running… to see you again etc
I just felt the Lord prompting me to share this with you, and to say that this is a special invitation to all of us here at RITAN: “Just call out my Name”.
Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall / All you have to do is call! / And I’ll be there, yes I will / You’ve got a Friend!

MemberJust for fun I Googled this song and this is what I found (Wikipedia):
“You’ve Got a Friend” was written by Carole King during the January 1971 recording sessions for her own album Tapestry and James Taylor’s album Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon. King has stated that “the song was as close to pure inspiration as I’ve ever experienced. The song wrote itself. It was written by something outside myself, through me.”

MemberI was deep cleaning yesterday and found this poem I saved … came from when I bought Bible tracts … it was one of their sample tracts … its called
Prayer for those who live Alone (But I’m sure it will also apply to those who are married and live with an unsaved spouse or one who is just not compatible)
I live alone, dear Lord,
Stay by my side.
In all my daily needs,
Be Thou my guide.
Grant me good health.
For that indeed, I pray,
to carry on my work
from day to day.
Keep pure my mind,
my thoughts, my every deed.
Let me be kind, unselfish
in my neighbor’s need.
Spare me from fire, from flood,
malicious tongues,
from thieves, from fear,
and evil ones.
If sickness or
an accident befall,
then humbly, Lord, I pray,
hear Thou my call.
And when I’m feeling low,
or in despair,
lift up my heart,
and help me in my prayer.
I live alone, dear Lord,
yet have no fear,
because I feel Your presence
ever near. Amen.

MemberJust looked this up on YT and it was 5 days ago at Pirates Cove in California. They had a worship team and many spectators as well as candidates who were baptized —- God is still moving and just as the parable of the owner of the field, he went out even at the late hour and brought in workers to his field…… We are in the late hour…. As revival broke out in Asbury so can baptism. this was probably similar to what happened in the early church as 5000 were added to the church.
We can pray for this to continue in these last moments of church history

MemberAnd revival is happening in the Oklahoma Adair country jail
After Sending Them King James Bibles For Every Inmate, Adair County Regional Jail In Oklahoma Is Experiencing An Amazing Season Of Revival!
NTEB
By Geoffrey Grider
Revival has come to the Adair County Jail after Bibles Behind Bars sent them King James Bibles for each and every inmate.
We planted the seeds back in September and October of 2022 when we sent one King James Bible for every inmate at the Adair County Regional Jail in Columbia, Oklahoma. 110 Bibles in all. Those cases of Bibles were prayed over, handed out on demand, and brought the glorious light of God’s work to a very dark place. Today I received an email from a prison ministry team worker there named Jennifer, and her testimony of what God is doing with those NTEB Bibles will bring a tear to your eye and a shout to your lips.
“Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;” Psalm 107:2
Jennifer’s email says “This jail had strongholds over it with a thick, dark spiritual atmosphere. We began purchasing bibles one by one, but the demand outweighed our funding. Being able to put the word of God in each and every hand of the inmates was nothing short of a miracle! I want to personally thank Bibles Behind Bars who graciously donated and made possible a Bible for every individual inmate in the entire facility.
“When the word of God was placed in their lives, it spread rapidly like a wildfire! Life began to reform, chains began to break, strongholds were broken, and Heaven has touched down!”
Revival is breaking out in this place, last week 31 men were baptized along with 10 women, hallelujah! Seeing Jesus give these women another chance at life when the world has rejected them is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever witnessed. We are so blessed to be able to be a small part of that.”

MemberGod is working! Jesus told us in Matthew 9:37 “Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
We need to pray that the Lord of the Harvest opens the eyes of the blind to spiritual sight…
Pockets of revival are happening around the world. My granddaughter just finished a 8 week trip to North Africa in a metropolitan area (can’t disclose the location), and people are hungry for God’s Word and the truth of the gospel. May God continue to work quickly as we end the age of grace….

MemberA pastor asked an older farmer, decked out in bib overalls, to say grace for the morning breakfast. “Lord, I hate buttermilk”, the farmer began. The visiting pastor opened one eye to glance at the farmer and wondered where this was going. The farmer loudly proclaimed, “Lord, I hate lard.” Now the pastor was growing concerned. Without missing a beat, the farmer continued, “And Lord, you know I don’t much care for raw white flour.” The pastor once again opened an eye to glance around the room and saw that he wasn’t the only one to feel uncomfortable. Then the farmer added, “But Lord, when you mix them all together and bake them, I do love warm fresh biscuits. So Lord, when things come up that we don’t like, when life gets hard, when we don’t understand what you ‘re saying to us, help us to just relax and wait until you are done mixing. It will probably be even better than biscuits. Amen.”
Within that prayer there is great wisdom for all when it comes to complicated situations like we are experiencing in the world today. Stay strong, my friends, because our LORD is mixing several things that we don’t really care for, but something even better is going to come when HE is done with it. AMEN!

Cool how the farmer was looking beyond the tea biscuits and expecting the tea cookies to go with his … hot cup of divine tea … or … tall glass of ice tea.

MemberActor, Dennis Quaid’s testimony: “I remember going home and having kind of a white light experience that I saw myself either dead or in jail or losing everything I had, and I didn’t want that,” Quaid said, noting that he started re-reading the Bible shortly after.
The “American Underdog” actor said that his years of substance abuse was a result of trying to “fill a hole” in his life, and that the fleeting pleasures of drug and alcohol were no match for the joy he found in Christ.
“We’re all looking for the joy of life, and drugs give that to you and alcohol and whatever it is for anybody give that to you really quick. Then they’re fun and then they’re fun with problems, and then they’re just problems after a while,” Quaid said. “That’s really what we’re looking for, the joy of life, which is our gift, actually, the relationship with God that we all have.”

MemberSome thoughts on fear, worry and anxiety. Hope it helps somebody…
Allowing fear to remain a part of your life is like staying in an abusive relationship. It isn’t healthy, and it certainly will not allow you to live the wonderful life that God has planned for you. Let Him teach you how to get over fear!
Abusive relationships are destructive. An abusive person is controlling and possessive. They tell you where you can go, what you can do, what you can or can’t eat, and who you can or can’t spend time with. If they do allow you to go hang out with friends, they dominate the conversation until everything revolves around them!
Staying in this kind of toxic relationship will destroy your self-esteem! Toxic people will put you down, highlight all of your faults, and manipulate your emotions. In an attempt to keep you in your place (under their control), they will say that you are stupid. Your dreams are beyond your reach.
Fear is the ultimate abusive relationship. Maybe you’ve only been in this relationship for a short time, or maybe it’s been years. Regardless, you’ll recognize some of these characteristics that having a relationship with fear can manifest in your life.
Fear is possessive, controlling, and many times will act crazy! It will cause you to stay home rather than go to church or to the grocery store. You’ll stay away from relationships with people due to fear of rejection. Rather than stepping out in faith when the Lord gives you direction, you’ll stay back in timidity to avoid failure. Fear will even stop you from doing the right thing, all the while deceiving you into thinking that you are being compassionate, concerned, or using good sense.
Fear can destroy your health, cause you to lose sleep, and sabotage your relationships. It steals joy, kills hope, and destroys faith. Fear treats you like a slave.
The enemy wants nothing more than for you to allow fear to keep you from fulfilling the plans and purpose God has for your life. His plans for you are so much greater than you ever could imagine! However, in order to receive everything good that God has for you, you will have to get over fear and step out in faith!
It’s time to give fear the boot! Kick it out of your house and move on into the life God desires for you. Here are some ways you can start to get over fear:
When fear prompts you to examine all of your faults, and to feel worthless, remind that liar that you are perfectly known and perfectly loved! In fact, God loves you exactly the way you are. He thinks about you constantly and all His thoughts toward you are good!
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18)
If you have been dealing with fear, it could be because you haven’t yet completely known the perfect love of the Father for you! When you fully understand God’s love for you, you won’t have any time to date fear on the side. You’ll have all of your time and attention wrapped up in a relationship that will always build you up and never let you down!
To restrain fear, replace those lies with Truth from the Word of God! Simply, replace fearful thoughts with promises of God from the Word. If your mind is focused on things of God—His love for you and His promises to you—there won’t be room for anxiety or discouragement.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul… (Psalm 23)When you spend time in the Word of God, you can trust Jesus to restore your soul! Your mind and emotions are part of your soul, and that is where fear lives. However, it’s impossible to deal with fear through willpower. You can’t just push through. Instead, keep your eyes on Jesus and your focus on the Word of God, and allow Him to restore your mind and emotions. He is faithful to restore your soul and place peace on the throne in the areas where anxiety once reigned.

MemberI know I’m preaching to the choir, but I hear the following question asked so often, especially by Christians. Perhaps you know somebody who needs to hear this…
Why Do Bad Things Happen?
Does God allow evil? Why do bad things happen? These are questions that really need to be addressed. If we believe that God allows evil things to happen on earth, we can’t believe for victory over them, can we?
Back to the Beginning
To fully understand why bad things happen, we need to go back to the beginning:
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them”. (Genesis 1:26-27)
When God created humanity, He gave the earth to us as a gift. Psalm 115:16 says, “…But the earth He has given to the children of men.” Once God gave the earth to humanity, He relinquished His control to their stewardship, to their free will, and their choices had a profound impact.
When Adam and Eve believed the word of the serpent over the Word of God, they gave their control to the devil. The enemy had manipulated them into giving up their sovereignty over the earth and over everything within it. Creation had fallen from its perfect state, and from that moment, it began to decay.
Why Do Bad Things Happen?
Bad things happen because we don’t live in a perfect Garden anymore, the way God had originally intended. We live in a world that has been corrupted by sin and is in a state of decay. Therefore, sickness and disease run rampant. In addition, humanity continues to exercise free will, and many of those decisions result in evil: war, murder, abuse, and more. None of these things occurred because of God’s plan or because He has allowed it. The responsibility for these things falls at the feet of the sin of mankind and the plans of the evil one!
God Still Had a Plan
Since mankind had been given the earth to care for, to have dominion over and subdue, God couldn’t legally just reach down and “fix” everything in an instant. No, He needed a human being in order to accomplish that goal. So, His solution was for Himself to become a man to save humanity. When Jesus came, when God became a man, He won back our authority from the enemy, and then gave that authority back to us!
Jesus said, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19).
In fact, not only has God given believers authority over this fallen world and the plans of the enemy, He has placed us into a new kingdom! “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love” (Colossians 1:13). This means that the rules of this decaying world do not have to apply to us. We can live and reign in this life according to the laws of the Kingdom of God, rather than remain subject to the evil that is in the natural world around us.
You Can Believe for Victory
If God were truly responsible for the horrible things that happen here on earth, what right or power would we have to try to fight against them? Thank the Lord, that is not the case! When bad things happen, we do not have to simply roll over and accept them. We can use the authority that Jesus gave us to fight against evil and believe God for victory!
“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place” (2 Corinthians 2:14).
Jesus actually warned us that we would face negative circumstances in this world, but He had great news to go along with it, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
What to Do When Bad Things Happen
Use Your Words: Take your authority by speaking to the problem (Mark 11:23-24). Don’t beg and plead with God to change your situation. He’s already provided whatever you need through Jesus! Speak directly to your situation and tell it how it is going to change. “Pain, you leave my body right now, in Jesus’ name! Body, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and He gives life to you. I am healed, by the stripes of Jesus!”
Praise the Lord: In Acts 16, Paul and Silas had been severely beaten and thrown in prison. However, they were “…praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.” Even in the midst of a trial, sing praises to the Lord! Your praise and worship is a weapon that will cause your chains to be loosed!
Rest in the Finished Work of Jesus: When Jesus gave His life on the cross, He said, “It is finished!” (John 19:30). When He died, His work was accomplished. He was saying that the wrath of God for the sin of mankind had been appeased, and He had delivered us from the power of darkness and into His kingdom! At the cross, He provided healing, protection, provision, and victory. That work is finished, so do not worry about your circumstances. Pray, speak the Word, use your authority, praise and thank Him, and enter into His rest! “Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief” (Hebrews 4:11).

MemberI was at the local grocery store this morning … getting some more honey maple gazed ham from the deli dept … sooo good I want to make a sub sandwich on French bread. And I was using the self checker scanner machine and again got one of those slips for a “free flu shot plus 10% off groceries offer.” 🙄 So I saw the attendant and she had nothing to do since far and few people were shopping at that time so I struck up a conversation on “that offer” 😵💫 and she was laughing and confirmed it doesn’t apply in this store since there is no pharmacy but perhaps some of their sister stores it will? So the conversation led to covid vaxx and she said she did take the first shot but not any of the boosters because she saw sooooo many people with very bad side effects. I said that was smart to refuse any more … I told her I didn’t get the shots and I even refuse the flu shots cause … I will end up very sick with … “the flu” any way so why torture myself? And I rarely get the flu … perhaps once very 10 years and its mild 1 day of suffering. I also clued her if she gets fluid in her lungs to take 1 Mucinex pill and it will instantly clear it out. I told her I have asthma and it flares up when cleaning (house dust) so instead of using an inhaler or getting costly steroid pills … I just take that 1 Mucinex pill and I get instant relief. Then this lead to her talking about someone she knows who has cancer and I was trying to give her advice on what to take … NOW brand Dandelion Root pills helps kill off the cancer and being on an alkaline diet. So she was happy to hear that. Then that lead me to witness to her and I got out a Bible Tract and briefly told her about Jesus dying for us and we need to pray directly to Him, etc. and no works are involved and she was soooooo interested and didn’t want me to go … cause a customer then needed help on the scanner machine … so I waited and then she was asking more questions and then thanked me for the literature and said she will read this later on her break. I really feel she is going to get saved and hopefully share with her family too since she is very close with them. She said they have been searching for a church and not happy. I’m just grateful the Lord put me across her path today and used that crazy flu/covid offer as a means!
So if you can pray for her .. her name is Linda. We need to get the last of the church brothers and sisters on Flight 777

MemberOh and a weird thing happened while trying to enter my home. My front door lock was “jammed” I could place my key in the lock but it would not turn. I thought how odd? This NEVER happened before … so I had to go to the back door and use the key there to get inside the house. Then I checked the front door lock and it was really jammed and had to keep twisting the knob back and forth to get it to turn and release. So I think the demons are very angry with this encounter and did something to it to make trouble.

MemberNo, I don’t have the WD40 spray … I do have special oil for a paper shredder would that work?
The lock looks to be working “fine” now … it looks like someone really PUSHED the inner core part in with a hammer. 😵💫
I think this is a spiritual battle going on. Just like the other time after witnessing to that couple in the vet animal hospital parking lot. I drove back into town to get gasoline and the pump I was at wouldn’t light up the lowest grade of unleaded … only the high grade would light up. And I kept pressing the button and nothing. So I just thought the low grade gas was out at that pump. So I drove to another pump to fill up and got what I wanted. Then after paying indoors with cash. I come back to my vehicle and some other guy is at that pump and I looked over and guess what … he was getting the low grade gasoline. 😵💫 So I walked over and said you must have the magic touch because I was just here and I couldn’t get the low grade button to light up and work .. it was only offering me the high grade choice. He thought that was so odd. So I’m just putting 2 and 2 together .. it’s a spiritual battle with these weird issues …

ModeratorWD40 is perfect for unloosing locks, and it has a lot of other household uses too. Including a tiny tube to hook on to spray deep in to the lock, if you’re interested. Since you brought it up, I felt a concern from you post…did someone fool with you lock! Lord, please give Geri Your protection over her home and all that concerns her. Give her wisdom, protection and peace in Jesus Name.

MemberI normally also lock the glass storm door too but this time I didn’t … I wasn’t going to be gone long. I left my dog loose instead of him being in his playpen. He is a VERY good guard dog. People are afraid of him – he is very aggressive with barking and won’t let up until they walk away. So I’m thinking nobody human did anything except the demonic forces. I looked around on all 3 floors to see if anything was disturbed or out of place also doubled check the basement door that leads outside. Everything looks to be in place and nothing has been disturbed.
I thank you for your concerns and prayers!

ModeratorWith the state of things today, if Jesus tarries, these are some possible home security idea’s:
Try those that best suit your needs.
If you’re woken up by strange noises just press the alarm (or panic) button on your car’s keychain.
If you’re on a budget and want to deter burglars, using a fake security system sign or a sticker often can be powerful enough to spook them.
If you’ll be away for just a few hours leave the TV on and turn up the radio so that it can be heard from outside. You can also leave the vacuum or the mop bucket in the middle of the room.
For French doors use a Patlock
Nest and Ring are established brands on the market

ModeratorNot to be a contrarian but graphite is better for locking systems since it doesn’t collect dust or dirt. It comes in a small tube and you can get it at any hardware store. Just put the tip into the lock and give it a gentle squeeze. It doesn’t take much.

ModeratorI really feel she is going to get saved and hopefully share with her family too since she is very close with them.
When we are let down by a favorite high watch date passing this is a good thing to think about. This is the meaning of life, to turn to Jesus! Just think, if she does get saved she may be your best friend in eternity!

A recent Christian Revival event at the Corpus Christi campus of Texas A&M University drew over 1,000 students and administered over 120 baptisms, The Christian Post reported Friday.
The August 31 worship event called “One Night,” a yearly Christian gathering to kick off the school year, brought in nearly double the number at last year’s event and saw more than twice as many students baptized.

More than 200 Muslim men in Gaza have converted to Christianity after reportedly seeing Jesus in their dreams.
Michael Licona teaches New Testament studies at Houston Christian University and has also written a number of books, including “The Case For The Resurrection of Jesus” and “Paul Meets Muhammad.” In a recent Facebook post, Licona said he received a report from “underground Christian ministries” in the Middle East that detailed the miraculous conversions. “God is working in the midst of war!” his post began.
He then quoted the report from the ministries, “Over the past two days, we have ministered to hundreds of fathers who have lost most, if not all, of their children in the war. As we moved these men to safety, we fed them, washed their clothes, and began to read the Bible to them – sharing the way of peace through Jesus.
“Then, a big miracle happened. Last night, Jesus appeared to more than 200 of them in their dreams! They have come back to us to learn more from God’s Word and are asking how to follow Jesus.” The report said.

ModeratorJust a warm fuzzy!
Most anyone who has loved and lost a dog has most certainly heard of the poem, Rainbow Bridge, a tribute to pets that have passed. The poem has touched the lives of millions of pet lovers around the world. Most often, it has been shared, posted or inscribed with “Author Unknown” attached to it. Paul Koudounaris, an art historian and a founding member of The Order of the Good Death, was on a mission to find the poem’s true author.
Through his research, Koudounaris found records of 15 separate claims filed under the title “Rainbow Bridge” with the United States Copyright Office, dating as far back as 1995. He compiled a list of 25 names he found that had any connection to the poem. Then, he found the name Edna Clyne from Scotland, in an online chat group. A little Googling led him to the name Edna Clyne-Rekhy, whose authorship of a book about her late husband and their dog made him jot her name onto the list — the only woman and the only non-American.
“What initially would have seemed like the most unlikely candidate in the end turned out to be the most intriguing candidate and, of course, the actual author,” said Koudounaris. When Koudounaris contacted 82-year-old Ms. Clyne-Rekhy, she had no idea that the poem she had written more than 60 years ago to honor her childhood dog had brought comfort to so many people. Major, a Labrador Retriever, was Edna’s first dog. “Major was a very special dog,” said Edna. “Sometimes I would just sit and talk to him, and I felt that he could understand every word I said.”
Her mother used to ask how Edna had trained Major to be so gentle and obedient, and she still laughs about the question, explaining that she had never trained him at all, it was natural between them. Major died in 1959, when Edna was 19 years old. The day after he passed, Edna found a notebook and pulled a piece of paper from it.
When she began writing, she felt as if Major was guiding her pen. “Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge,” the poem begins. When she was finished, she wrote “Rainbow Bridge” at the top of the piece of paper, then showed it to her mother, who responded, “My darling girl, you are very special.” Afterwards, she put the piece of paper away and didn’t show it to anyone else for a long time.
Years later, she showed the poem to her husband, Jack Rekhy, who suggested she publish it. But, Edna didn’t want to, telling him it was something private between herself and Major. Eventually, Edna typed up a few copies and handed them out to close friends – but she did not add her name on those copies. As more and more people shared the poem, it became cut off from its source. By the early 1990s it had crossed the Atlantic. In February 1994, a woman from Grand Rapids, Michigan, sent a copy of Rainbow Bridge that they had received from their local humane society to the advice column Dear Abby.
It was published with a comment from Abigail Van Buren (Dear Abby), “I’m sure that many readers will be as moved as I when they read it. I confess, I shed a tear or two. Regrettably, you did not include the name of the author. If anyone in my reading audience can verify authorship, please let me know.” The letter provoked an overwhelming response with mailbags full of letters from pet owners who had been touched by the poem.
When Koudounaris reached Edna, she was surprised he found her, and the reason why. She told him everything, including that the original poem sat in a box in her attic marked, “If you can’t find it, it’s in here.” Edna confessed to Koudounaris that when she took the poem out of the box to take photos of it for him that she began to cry. The memory of Major in the poem still carries that much emotional power for Edna.
“More than anything though, she is simply flattered that something she wrote so long ago has resonated with such a vast number of people – the fact that it has comforted so many is the greatest possible homage to her love for Major,” Koudounaris said. “She knew nothing about the inscribed tablets in pet cemeteries. She had also never heard the abbreviation ATB. I had to explain that it meant ‘At The Bridge’, and that there are entire mourning groups based around those three letters, which signify the pets waiting to meet their owners at a place she invented for Major.”
“As a concept, what nineteen-year-old Edna envisioned is a kind of limbo where deceased pets are returned to their most hale form and cavort in newfound youth in an Elysian setting,” wrote Koudounaris. “But it is not paradise itself. Rather, it is a kind of way station where the spirit of an animal waits for the arrival of its earthly human companion, so that they may cross the Bridge together, to achieve true and eternal paradise in each other’s company, and to thereafter never again be parted.”
Koudounaris asked one question of Edna that took her aback during their discussions. What advice could she share for someone suffering from the loss of a pet? “Her response was then immediate – get another pet,” wrote Koudounaris. “She said that the relationship with a new pet will never be the same as the relationship with the old one, but it can be equally special and loving in different ways.”

ModeratorRainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together….
