The breakout star of the bunch is a German fan known on X as Freddy who has been chronicling a six-week road trip across the U.S. and Canada, following Germany's national team, and has picked up hundreds of thousands of followers in his trek.

Freddy's Atlanta stop hit the respectable tourist beats — Stone Mountain, the MLK National Historical Park, some "Stranger Things" filming locations — and then immediately abandoned all dignity for Taco Bell, which he called "the holy land."

A 1 a.m. Waffle House visit got a perfect 10/10 — food, prices, and staff included.

Texas, for its part, did not go unnoticed either. A group of Japanese fans told KDFW their assessment of the state in six words: "Texas is good — everything is big." Which checks out. Everything is bigger in Texas.

For years, the conversation about America — at home and abroad — has been almost entirely about Washington: the politics, the division, the sense that the country is somehow failing itself. But that was never the whole country.

The actual texture of American life — the diners, the gas stations, the absurd portion sizes, the stranger who will drive you to a game because your Uber didn't show — was always there, underneath all of it, completely unaffected by whatever was happening in D.C.

This summer, a few hundred thousand people from somewhere else have seen the real America: big, weird, generous, a little much.

A sitting congressman is calling for a full probe after an Axios bombshell revealed that verbatim audio from the most secure room on the planet may have been secretly recorded and leaked to longtime Trump critic Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan.

An Axios report details how senior administration officials believe the New York Times reporters obtained classified recordings of Situation Room meetings for their upcoming book “Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump,” set for release June 23. The book already includes nearly word-for-word accounts of sensitive discussions surrounding the war in Iran.

One administration source told Axios: “We’re afraid some of our most sensitive conversations were being recorded and we have no idea which ones.”

Katie Pavlich: ... as you know, even in these settings, you’re not even supposed to wear a smartwatch, like an Apple Watch or a Garmin or something of that nature. No electronics at all.

Mike Lawler: I mean, look, you’re talking about deeply serious issues, and the president and his administration should have full confidence that they can have sensitive discussions without the possibility of a leak.

An alleged explosive drone terror attack destined for Sunday’s UFC Freedom 250 event on the White House South Lawn was thwarted by the FBI and five suspects are now custody, it was revealed Tuesday.

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed the foiled plan after Fox News first broke the news.

The multi-phase attack allegedly involved using explosive-laden drone aircraft to strike buildings in the vicinity of the event, sparking mass panic and driving the fleeing crowd toward a sniper team poised to pick them off, officials told Fox News.

A “second wave” of attackers then allegedly planned to storm the White House gate, officials said. Fox News further detailed:

The FBI first learned of the threat on June 10 and worked with partners to secure probable cause for an arrest in Cincinnati, where one suspect was taken into custody.

Investigators later uncovered Signal chats in which multiple people allegedly discussed attacking the UFC event. An initial review of one suspect’s iPhone identified at least 23 Signal users discussing pre-operational activity, officials said.

The report further reveals possible motives for the alleged terror assault, with one suspect allegedly told investigators the goal was to target “capitalist elites,” “billionaires” or politicians who received donations from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
