I am not taking this lightly. I do not want to cause confusion, because there’s so much confusion already as it is, but once I realized that our calendars were totally changed by removing 13 days, it suddenly makes sense. It flip flopped.
That’s why in Leviticus 23:5 at TWILIGHT during the passover and following feast of unleavened bread, took place during the NEW MOON sliver on the 14/15 of Nisan as THE FIRST DAY OF THE MONTH, Nisan 1, was a full moon.
Leviticus 23:24‘In the 7thmonth on the FIRST (day) of the month (Tishri 1) you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. A Full moon.
Leviticus 23:34 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘On the 15th of this 7th month is the Feast of Booths for 7 days to the LORD. A New Moon just like when Jesus was crucified.
Then they switched from the God based solar calendar of the Julian calendar in 1582 to remove the 13 days, so that celebrations that should begin on a full moon, are celebrated on a new moon, and vice versa.
God allowed Satan to totally mess up the calendars that we use, to screw up everything that we get from the Hebrew calendar or Gregorian calendar of today.
So the true feast of trumpets should take place on October 6–7 and the true feast of booths or Sukkot should take place on October 20–21
BUT ALL OF THESE DAYS HAVE BEEN CORRUPTED AS OF 1582. Again, The Book of jubilees mentions this to take place in the future (1582 calendar change of 13 days)
“And there will be those who will make observations of the moon, for this one (the moon) corrupts the stated times/APPOINTED TIMES”…
“And in this way they will CORRUPT the years (Julian calendar to Gregorian/Current Hebrew calendar in 1582 removing 13 days) and will observe a WRONG DAY as the day of testimony and a corrupted festival day, and EVERYONE WILL MIX HOLY DAYS WITH UNCLEAN ONES and UNCLEAN with HOLY; for they will err as to months and sabbaths and festivals and jubilees.”
That’s so true Patricia! I did think of that. I don’t really trust google but reading the Scriptures Rosh Hashanah starts with the sighting of the new moon… it’s a mystery and it will be wonderful when it happens.
I am disappointed to still be here, but we do have what Terry posted about the days of awe, and then the rest of the feast days. Then we can look at what if the calendar is off a month. If you go back 1260 days from the April 13, 2029 date, you end up on Oct 31. Subtract 10 days and you are at the October new moon.
And Tom Horn said if Apophis is Wormwood, and he thinks it is, the trib starts Oct.13, so we would have to leave no later than then. Oct. 13 is also Shemini Atzeret. Dr. Barry has made a big deal about that, but I don't remember why.
Can anyone point to Scripture alone that says a new moon is defined as a sliver moon? Or if Scripture details that the head of the month is determined by a sliver moon or not? I cannot find anything in my study. In fact, it could be easily argued that the new moon is defined as a full moon. If that's the case, then combine this with the Gregorian calendar supplanting the Julian calendar in 1582 AD, then all this just got very, very, very interesting!
I'm sure with enough digging, you could find that from scripture alone. But it's clear that a new moon is the opposite of a full moon. They are not the same.
I've been digging. I cannot find any definitive answer. The only thing that comes close is Psalm 81:3. But even in all of the translations they do not lead one to an answer. So I went to the interlinear Bible and looked at the original Hebrew. From that, it's not a stretch at all to say that the Full Moon is the same as the new moon (head of the month).
Given how corrupted God's appointed feast days had become (and the Jews total misunderstanding and misapplication of Scripture), I would say it's not far fetched in the least to say that they have their head of the month wrong.
But don't take my word for it. I invite everyone to look into this and see. I've flabbergasted quite a few people with this question and there is no definitive answer. And if Scripture is silent on something, then anything man might add to it is just conjecture. Traditions of men mean nothing to God.
@kmdickinson A Passover moon is 100% illuminated. It is a full moon and a Passover moon has never been called a new moon. A new moon is when a witness sees the first appearance of a moon as it changed (waxes) from no appearance to 1 to 2 percent illumination. The moon waxes daily from no light to full light after 15 days. Then the moon wanes daily until there is no light again in 15 days. The complete moon cycle is 30 days. I will add a link in this post that shows a daily moon calendar.
Yes, I understand that's how it's been interpreted. But can you point out in Scripture where it says that the head of the month begins with the new moon (sliver or conjunction)? That's really the heard of the question. As far as I have been able to see, it is nowhere in Scripture. The information you just provided is extra-biblical. But I won't say I am 100% correct in that assertion. But to date, I have not seen anything stating otherwise.
@kmdickinson I guess my point is that when the Bible says new moon, and you can find the words new moon in the Bible in multiple versus, the phrase new moon equates to the night when the sliver or 1-2% appearance of the moon is visible. New moon does not equate to full moon.
Yes, I know know what you are saying. My question refers to what determines the "official" head of the month as outlined in Scripture. As best as I can tell, there is no "thus saith the Lord" as to what the start of the month is determined by.
The reason I am asking is that I ran across some information that indicates the Jews may have had their starts of the months corrupted while in captivity in Babylon. And I find that to be very interesting because there really is nothing (that I can find, at least) that would contradict his assertion. But I don't want to just assume he's right. That's why I'm digging and asking others if they can counter this claim.
If this is true (Hebrew start of the month being corrupted), then when taken into consideration about man's calendar being corrupted by the Catholic Pope in October 1582 AD, then that upends everything we assume to be true today regarding God's appointed Feasts and when they would actually align with Man's calendars.
That's really all I'm doing. Asking for help to prove or disprove this based solely on Scripture. I do not want traditions to cloud the truth so I am being stringent on the Biblical requirement (if there is one).
Numbers 28:11-15 “ ‘On the first day of every month, bring to the Lord a burnt offering. Bring two young bulls and one ram. Also bring seven male lambs a year old. ...It is the burnt offering for each month. It must be made on the day of each New Moon feast during the year.
Hope this helps, but I will no longer be responding to this thread.
"Though it tarry, wait for it, for it will come" is from the Bible, specifically Habakkuk 2:3, which means a vision or promise may seem slow to arrive but will ultimately be fulfilled without delay.
@patrician Anticipaton..... I am waiting patiently for an escape from the trials of this world. Surely it is almost over. I am so eager for the Lord to make all things right.

Donald Trump’s Two State Solution—Gaza Peace Plan Revealed:
Netanyahu said he agreed to the plan, which was unveiled shortly before the news conference. Trump said that Israel has the "full backing" of the United States to take steps to defeat Hamas if it doesn't accept the proposed peace deal.
“Today is a historic day for peace,” Trump said. “Let’s call it eternal peace in the Middle East.”
The proposal calls for a temporary governing board led by Trump and the UK including former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. It would not force residents to leave Gaza and says the war would end immediately if both sides agree.
Netanyahu warned that if Hamas rejects or fails to comply with the plan, “then Israel will finish the job by itself,” adding, “This could be done the easy way, or it could be done the hard way. But it will be done.”
All military, terror and offensive infrastructure, including tunnels and weapon production facilities, will be destroyed and not rebuilt," the plan states.
Before the press conference, Netanyahu formally apologized to Qatar’s leader, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, for a recent strike on Hamas officials in the Gulf emirate that angered Arab leaders and drew U.S. criticism of Israel.
The 20-point plan reads in full:
1. Gaza will be a deradicalized terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbors.
2. Gaza will be redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza, who have suffered more than enough.
3. If both sides agree to this proposal, the war will immediately end. Israeli forces will withdraw to the agreed upon line to prepare for a hostage release. During this time, all military operations, including aerial and artillery bombardment, will be suspended, and battle lines will remain frozen until conditions are met for the complete staged withdrawal. Once all hostages are released, Israel will release 250 life sentence prisoners plus 1700 Gazans who were detained after October 7th 2023, including all women and children detained in that context. For every Israeli hostage whose remains are released, Israel will release the remains of 15 deceased Gazans.
4. Within 72 hours of Israel publicly accepting this agreement, all hostages, alive and deceased, will be returned.
5. Once all hostages are released, Israel will release 250 life sentence prisoners plus 1700 Gazans who were detained after October 7th 2023, including all women and children detained in that context. For every Israeli hostage whose remains are released, Israel will release the remains of 15 deceased Gazans.
6. Once all hostages are returned, Hamas members who commit to peaceful co-existence and to decommission their weapons will be given amnesty. Members of Hamas who wish to leave Gaza will be provided safe passage to receiving countries.
7. Upon acceptance of this agreement, full aid will be immediately sent into the Gaza Strip. At a minimum, aid quantities will be consistent with what was included in the January 19, 2025, agreement regarding humanitarian aid, including rehabilitation of infrastructure (water, electricity, sewage), rehabilitation of hospitals and bakeries, and entry of necessary equipment to remove rubble and open roads.
8. Entry of distribution and aid in the Gaza Strip will proceed without interference from the two parties through the United Nations and its agencies, and the Red Crescent, in addition to other international institutions not associated in any manner with either party. Opening the Rafah crossing in both directions will be subject to the same mechanism implemented under the January 19, 2025 agreement.
9. Gaza will be governed under the temporary transitional governance of a technocratic, apolitical Palestinian committee, responsible for delivering the day-to-day running of public services and municipalities for the people in Gaza. This committee will be made up of qualified Palestinians and international experts, with oversight and supervision by a new international transitional body, the “Board of Peace,” which will be headed and chaired by President Donald J. Trump, with other members and heads of State to be announced, including Former Prime Minister Tony Blair. This body will set the framework and handle the funding for the redevelopment of Gaza until such time as the Palestinian Authority has completed its reform program, as outlined in various proposals, including President Trump’s peace plan in 2020 and the Saudi-French proposal, and can securely and effectively take back control of Gaza. This body will call on best international standards to create modern and efficient governance that serves the people of Gaza and is conducive to attracting investment.
10. A Trump economic development plan to rebuild and energize Gaza will be created by convening a panel of experts who have helped birth some of the thriving modern miracle cities in the Middle East. Many thoughtful investment proposals and exciting development ideas have been crafted by well-meaning international groups, and will be considered to synthesize the security and governance frameworks to attract and facilitate these investments that will create jobs, opportunity, and hope for future Gaza.
11. A special economic zone will be established with preferred tariff and access rates to be negotiated with participating countries.
12. No one will be forced to leave Gaza, and those who wish to leave will be free to do so and free to return. We will encourage people to stay and offer them the opportunity to build a better Gaza.
13. Hamas and other factions agree to not have any role in the governance of Gaza, directly, indirectly, or in any form. All military, terror, and offensive infrastructure, including tunnels and weapon production facilities, will be destroyed and not rebuilt. There will be a process of demilitarization of Gaza under the supervision of independent monitors, which will include placing weapons permanently beyond use through an agreed process of decommissioning, and supported by an internationally funded buy back and reintegration program all verified by the independent monitors. New Gaza will be fully committed to building a prosperous economy and to peaceful coexistence with their neighbors.
14. A guarantee will be provided by regional partners to ensure that Hamas, and the factions, comply with their obligations and that New Gaza poses no threat to its neighbors or its people.
15. The United States will work with Arab and international partners to develop a temporary International Stabilization Force (ISF) to immediately deploy in Gaza. The ISF will train and provide support to vetted Palestinian police forces in Gaza, and will consult with Jordan and Egypt who have extensive experience in this field. This force will be the long-term internal security solution. The ISF will work with Israel and Egypt to help secure border areas, along with newly trained Palestinian police forces. It is critical to prevent munitions from entering Gaza and to facilitate the rapid and secure flow of goods to rebuild and revitalize Gaza. A deconfliction mechanism will be agreed upon by the parties.
16. Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza. As the ISF establishes control and stability, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will withdraw based on standards, milestones, and timeframes linked to demilitarization that will be agreed upon between the IDF, ISF, the guarantors, and the Unites States, with the objective of a secure Gaza that no longer poses a threat to Israel, Egypt, or its citizens. Practically, the IDF will progressively hand over the Gaza territory it occupies to the ISF according to an agreement they will make with the transitional authority until they are withdrawn completely from Gaza, save for a security perimeter presence that will remain until Gaza is properly secure from any resurgent terror threat.
17. In the event Hamas delays or rejects this proposal, the above, including the scaled-up aid operation, will proceed in the terror-free areas handed over from the IDF to the ISF.
18. An interfaith dialogue process will be established based on the values of tolerance and peaceful co-existence to try and change mindsets and narratives of Palestinians and Israelis by emphasizing the benefits that can be derived from peace.
19. While Gaza re-development advances and when the PA reform program is faithfully carried out, the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood, which we recognize as the aspiration of the Palestinian people.
20. The United States will establish a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on a political horizon for peaceful and prosperous co-existence.
