Terri, I am so happy you are back

Dear family, 

I need to share what happened. almost 10 months ago, my MD told me I need to do a test. i told him i can't tolerate that test. he kept pushing the same test and I really can't do it so i had to leave and rely on my ND to give me as much support as possibly virtually (he is in another city right now) I was talking to my MD around 3 weeks ago and he mentioned in passing another test that can be done. i was shocked that he never mentioned it before. he also said: "If you can't do the other test, I am willing to accept this one"

I did the other test and we got results. I couldn't believe he put me through 10 months of pain and suffering and only insisting on one test when i said over and over again that i won't be able to tolerate it. 

I was sick and I couldn't think straight. it really never occurred to me to ask: what other tests can be done?

I sent him a polite but firm letter that this should not have happened and her responded by telling me to find another family doctor and until then he is available for prescription refills. That left me totally in shock. he abandoned me when i am vulnerable and need care. 

I have such a hard time starting with a new MD and i don't really want another one. something happened inside of me after this thing with my MD of almost 20 years that i don't want to go near doctors anymore. 

My ND was stunned when he heard what happened then he said: "arrogant, these people are arrogant" he told me to do a blood test and he will see how he can help me. now i will make an appointment with doctors whom  you can see virtually and are available for requesting blood work and refilling prescriptions. i have to set up an appointment and I am not really up to it.

I am thinking about asking my dentist if she knows of someone decent and to whom she can talk to first and explain a few things to him/her that i need to say to a new doctor.
