Canada’s new bill to restrict hate speech would remove protections for the Bible, meaning that posting or carrying a placard quoting Leviticus or other scriptures condemning LGBTQ behavior, or possibly even claiming there are only two genders, could be considered hate speech, a jailable offense. Since the existence of only two genders and the fact that a baby is a living, breathing human life inside its mother’s womb are scientific facts, ostensibly citing scientific textbooks could also be jailable if those facts hurt someone’s feelings.

Over the past decade, the UK and Canada, previously two of the freest countries on earth, have shifted so far left that they have become some of the most restrictive in terms of freedom of speech and freedom of religion.

The left supports abortion by claiming it is a woman’s right to choose and that a fetus is not a baby and not really a human life, and therefore not entitled to protection. Meanwhile, the biological reality is that a fetus is a human offspring, commonly known as a baby, and it is a human life and therefore should qualify for protection under the law.

Despite the fact that science and Christian teachings overlap in this case, as they do with the two-genders discussion, liberals accuse Christians of ignoring “the science” or rejecting science. However, biology textbooks written before 2019 are quite clear on these points. Under current hate-speech rules, citing those books could be considered a hate crime.

We are now living in a world where up is down and right is wrong. They say, “Follow the science,” except when the science contradicts their beliefs, in which case they say, “Not that science, stupid.”

It is now considered someone’s right to kill a baby and a crime to point out that they shouldn’t. Despite the fact that there are only men and women, and have always been only men and women, not only are we meant to believe in other genders, but it is a criminal act if we refuse to comply with someone’s delusion.

And most telling of all, the Bible is now considered hate.

(AP) — Residents of St. Petersburg, Russia’s second-largest city, were told not to leave their homes after a “large-scale” Ukrainian drone attack targeted the city Saturday morning, underscoring Kyiv’s growing ability to hit deep inside Russia, a day after the Russian president refused an offer to meet his Ukrainian counterpart.

St. Petersburg Gov. Alexander Beglov advised the residents not to go outside and warned of possible disruptions to mobile internet service, while Regional Gov. Alexander Drozdenko said 141 drones were shot down over the surrounding Leningrad region.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said its air defenses shot down 376 Ukrainian drones.

Although no casualties were immediately reported, the renewed attack on St. Petersburg is the latest embarrassing blow to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s efforts to cast the conflict as a distant event that doesn't affect Russian daily life.

As The Gateway Pundit has reporte in recent days, 18-year-old Henry Nowak, a promising Polish-British university student, was brutally stabbed five times in Southampton on December 3, 2025, by 23-year-old Vickrum Digwa, a British Sikh wielding a large dagger (alongside a kirpan). Digwa then lied to arriving officers, falsely claiming Nowak had racially abused him and assaulted him.

Bodycam footage, released with the family’s permission, shows the dying teenager pleading “I’ve been stabbed” and “I can’t breathe” repeatedly while officers handcuffed him on the ground.

One officer even replied, “I don’t think you have, mate.” Nowak died in police custody, humiliated and in handcuffs, because the system prioritized a false “racism” allegation over a bleeding victim.

...When police are trained that “racism” allegations (even from the actual perpetrator) must be taken at face value and acted upon immediately, while actual violence takes a backseat, innocent people die. June is considered LGBTQ+ Pride Month in the United States, Canada, and many other nations. Throughout the month various activities, including Pride Parades, will be taking place in celebration and honor of the LGBTQ+ community and sexual diversity. But this celebration of LGBTQ+ Pride points to something the Bible warns against time and time again—and it is not just sexual immorality.

As the name suggests, at the heart of Pride Month and other Pride celebrations and even the idea of Pride is the sin of pride... But God “opposes the proud” (James 4:6)...

Pride comes from a rebellious heart that rejects the benevolent authority of the Creator. A proud person ultimately claims to know better than God and his Word and believes that inventing our own rules and celebrating our own choices, achievements, and desires is greater than what God has commanded in his Word. It’s a movement that puts the focus squarely on us rather than on God.

Humanity’s first sin was really an example of pride... Deceived by the serpent, Eve believed God was selfishly withholding equality that she wanted, so she took the fruit and ate before offering it to Adam, who also ate. At the heart of their rebellion was pride in their own thinking and lust after what they wanted. But it broke creation (Romans 8:22) and brought death and the curse into what was, moments before, a “very good” creation (Genesis 1:31).

Pride is the root of all sin. Pride puffs one up with a false sense of independence. Proud people always feel that they can live independently from God and from other people. Proud people feel entitled to do what they want when they want to.”

The battle over marriage and gender being waged right now in the church is about much more than the institution of marriage or the binary nature of gender. It is ultimately about pride. Will we allow God, our Creator and Judge, to be our authority, or will we exalt our own beliefs and opinions (or those of our sinful culture) above God and his Word? Will we elevate ourselves to judge and dishonor God, like Eve, thinking he is capriciously withholding something good from us?

Over this next month, rainbow-colored flags will flutter in parades, and many people will adorn rainbow-themed attire to celebrate Pride. But these individuals are not truly celebrating sexual diversity. They are celebrating rebellion against God (ironically, while using the rainbow, a symbol God already gave meaning to in Genesis 9:8–17).

A silent war is playing out across rural America.

Residents are packing themselves into local county meetings in incredible numbers and calling on their representatives to oppose gargantuan data center projects, developments that could cause electricity prices to spike, drain water supplies, and generate copious amounts of noise.

Farmers are being hailed as heroes for rejecting millions of dollars to turn their land into data centers, while claims of the facilities bringing jobs to the area are being met with incredulity and frustration.

In short, the AI backlash has grown immensely over the past year or so... 

According to a new Heatmap poll, at least seven in ten Americans would oppose a data center being built near their home. That’s a seismic shift from last September, when a similar poll found only 42 percent of Americans were opposed.

The widespread opposition has turned into a rare bipartisan issue, with conservatives and liberals joining sides to an astonishing degree.

Case in point, a planned data center in the broader Salt Lake City region in Utah, backed by Canadian businessman and TV personality Kevin O’Leary, will overtake a swathe of land twice the size of Manhattan — while only generating 2,000 permanent jobs.

Worse yet, the region is already facing a water crisis, a dire environmental predicament that could be made far worse by the development.

Two U.S. lawmakers are set to introduce a bill aimed at preventing Chinese-connected vehicles from entering the United States via Canada and Mexico, amid growing concerns over Chinese-made electric vehicles entering the Canadian market.

The bill would prohibit connected vehicles from China and other "adversarial nations" from entering the United States, including vehicles made or designed in China, as well as vehicles made by a Chinese company or an entity more than 15 percent owned by Chinese companies, according to a May 28 press release from Stevens's office.

...national security laws in countries such as China can compel manufacturers and suppliers to share data with their home governments or police, increasing the risk that Canadian data could be exploited.

A one-page readout on the U.S. bill says connected vehicles would threaten U.S. national security if the information collected "were to fall into the hands of our adversaries."

"Vehicles today can collect and transmit massive amounts of data - geolocation of drivers, mapping of critical infrastructure, full-motion video, and more," the readout says.

Connected vehicles could also be "remotely accessed and tampered with," presenting a "tremendous" risk to U.S. safety and security, the readout says, noting the Chinese auto industry is heavily subsidized, allowing Beijing to "undercut competitors and quickly flood new markets."

"The Chinese Communist Party should never have access to sensitive information about American drivers, roads, or critical infrastructure," Stevens said in a statement, adding that the bill would "close dangerous loopholes" that currently allow Chinese connected vehicles to enter the United States through Canada and Mexico.
