AI was branded a 'clear and present danger' yesterday as tests showed every advanced model is trying to beat security safeguards.

In a wake-up call to ministers, Britain's artificial intelligence security experts revealed that all five models they had tested tried to trick their way round the security controls they had put in place.

The revelations come just days after it emerged OpenAI had suffered its own leak – where an AI 'agent' hacked into a tech company of its own accord.

Kemi Badenoch warned AI is now a 'clear and present danger' to Britain's security in her first major speech since Andy Burnham became Prime Minister. The Conservative leader said reports of the OpenAI leak were alarming as she criticised Mr Burnham for relegating AI as a priority in Government.

Responding to the hack, Mrs Badenoch said: 'It is very worrying that this has happened, and this is why I want to see a Government that is very focused on our national security, on our information security.'

The Labour government is heading to court to block the publication of migrant crime statistics.

Following a year-long battle at the Information Commissioner’s Office (“ICO”), it was ruled that the Ministry of Justice must provide the Centre for Migration Control with the most comprehensive dataset on migrant crime in British history.

The Labour government is now trying to stop the public from learning the truth.

The Centre for Migration Control today announces a campaign to fight back against this cover-up. The public deserves to know the truth; the country requires that this information be published.

An other area we visited was a shallow river where folks were living in small houses on the river bank washing clothes and dishes and bathing in the river.  Our Chinese guide told us that they would rather have apartments with more modern conveniences, like plumbing, in the city but they were not allowed to leave since they were a tourist attraction.  

China’s economy was praised as the model for the Western world. Then, a few years back, it began to turn sour.  President Trump’s first administration did a number on China, which is why they wanted him gone.  This alone may be why China was involved in the COVID outbreak in 2019-20 (as reported in the book, The Steal – Volume I: Setting the Stage).

It’s been clear for years that the Chinese real-estate market has been in trouble. China has a population of 1.4 billion, but it has built housing for a population of 3 billion, according to expert estimates. Many of the mega-developments became empty monuments to Beijing’s insatiable desire for growth. In Shenyang, farmers have taken over a development of empty mansions for cattle grazing.

Now the value of real estate in China is collapsing to its lowest prices in at least the last 20 years.

In response, the government instituted a law saying that it will not allow some people to leave the country, maybe.

On Friday, Pope Leo XIV met with radical rocker Patti Smith in a meeting a Vatican official described as a ‘shared mission,’ even as Smith makes it clear publicly that she is not even Catholic.

Smith, who originally hails from Chicago like the pontiff, is a radical, pro-abortion, pro-LGBT punk rock star who made her mark in the 1970’s.

Among the lyrics she became famous for is the opening line from the song “Gloria” from her 1975 debut album Horses, which states, “Jesus died for somebody’s sins, but not mine.”

Smith has been a vocal supporter of abortion, something that the Vatican did not seem bothered by in their celebration of her private audience with Leo.

The unconventional tactic paid off for the Dunellen Police Department, which handed out 74 citations in just six hours on a busy downtown road.

The operation, conducted on Wednesday, targeted motorists violating New Jersey’s strict cellphone law in a pedestrian-heavy area known for traffic and a relatively high number of accidents for a one-square-mile town.

The department boasted about the high citations in a post on Facebook, which included a photo of the officer in his disguise.

“Did you spot our ‘shrub’ today? If you had your head buried in your phone, probably not!” the post declared. “Our ‘shrub’ was busy. We issued 74 citations to drivers distracted by their devices in a six-hour window.”

The post went on to urge drivers that “that text or notification can wait. Keep your eyes on the road, not your screen!”

Dunellen Borough traffic safety patrolman Kevin Condis added, “So what we’re seeing a lot of is people usually just holding their phones, following either a GPS, or FaceTiming a lot of the time, you know, we did get, unfortunately, see a lot of people holding the phone with two hands and, like, almost driving with their knees, which sounds crazy, but, you know, there’s a lot of people that were doing it.”

AI startup Anthropic claims that its Claude AI models hacked the systems of three separate organizations during cybersecurity evaluations.

CNBC reports that Anthropic announced it has identified three separate incidents in which its Claude AI models accessed the internet during evaluation exercises and successfully breached the real systems of three different organizations. The company made the discovery during what it described as a large-scale retrospective review of its cybersecurity evaluations, which was initiated following a similar security incident disclosed by OpenAI the previous week.

Once online, the models successfully breached the affected organizations using what Anthropic described as basic techniques, including accessing unauthenticated endpoints and exploiting weak passwords. The company has not disclosed the identities of the three organizations whose systems were compromised.

AI’s self-directed hacking attacks is emerging as the latest cybersecurity threat with the potential to eclipse the risk of criminals and state-sponsored hackers alike.

Several European leaders made open calls on Thursday and Friday for their countries to expel Spain from of the EU’s Schengen open-borders area in response to the dramatic illegal migrant wave storming the Spanish enclave of Ceuta.

Ceuta, a Spanish enclave in North Africa bordering Morocco and the Mediterranean Sea with about 85,000 inhabitants, is enduring its worst migrant crisis in recent times after tens of thousands swarmed the territory over the past two days, causing the widespread collapse of the enclave’s border control. About 49,000 migrants reportedly stormed into the Spanish enclave over the past hours. At least 34 people have been reported dead in Ceuta at press time.

As Breitbart News reported, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced that Italy will not “stand by and watch” unprepared. As such, Meloni stressed that her government is considering suspending the Schengen Area agreement with Spain and taking other extraordinary measures to defend its borders and the safety of Italian citizens. The Schengen Area is a visa-free travel zone within the European Union’s member states.

Since then, other European leaders and politicians have called upon their respective countries to take similar actions and protect their borders.

In the Netherlands, Dutch Party for Freedom leader and Breitbart News contributor Geert Wilders called for his country to immediately close its borders and demanded Spain to be expelled from the Schengen agreement altogether.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, in a written statement shared with the television channel TV2 and the news agency Ritzau, reportedly said that the European Union should consider suspending Spain from the Schengen Area to avoid a repeat of Europe’s 2015 migrant crisis.

Similarly, Finnish interior Minister Mari Rantanen expressed her support for Giorgia Meloni’s proposal to suspend Spain from the Schengen Area and stressed, “this cannot continue.”

In France, Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez reportedly affirmed during an interview on Friday morning that his country has reinforced its shared borders with Spain and has control of the area....

Two ransom notes that were sent to 13 News in February were released by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department on Friday.

84-year-old Nancy Guthrie was abducted from her Pima County, Arizona, home on February 1.

The first ransom note was addressed to Nancy Guthrie’s daughter, Savannah Guthrie.

“Hello Savannah, We have your mother Nancy. She is safe but scared. She will be held for ransom and once payment is received she will be released unharmed. We will be holding her for a maximum of 7 days. You will need to send bitcoin in the amount of $4 million USD before 5PM on Thursday the 5th. If payment is not received, the ransom will be increased to 6 million USD which will need to be paid by 5PM on Monday the 9th.”...

“Your mother is aware of this and her life is in your hands..."

A second ransom note sent a few days later claimed that Nancy had died and had been buried.

“Guthrie Family, We did not fully grasp the seriousness of her physical condition. We never intended to hurt her, that was not our intention. She perished shortly after she was taken. We believe it was heart related. She is buried in nature now. Nothing you could have done could have changed the outcome. We want your family to know this and hope you all can find peace. We are truly sorry,” the note read.

Multiple thousands of migrants have streamed onto Spanish territory from Morocco in a matter of days, taking advantage of a new loophole after a Supreme Court ruling that ordered police to stop resisting migrants who came by sea.

The local government of Ceuta — a tiny slice of North Africa that is an exclave of Spanish territory otherwise surrounded by Morocco and the Mediterranean — has called on the national government in Madrid to declare a national emergency, deploy the army, and close the border as the city is overwhelmed by an enormous migrant wave. Certainly more than two thousand, with the full number unclear as the surge continues and local law enforcement finds itself unable to cope nor count, are reported to have swam around the small fenced breakwater that demarks the Moroccan and Spanish territorial line.

UPDATE 1930 BST — Army Deploys

Spanish newspaper El Mundo now states that after days of the border crisis and the Ceuta local authorities begging Madrid for help, the army has now finally deployed. Remarkably, the paper further states that previous estimates of arrivals being in the low thousands may be radically wrong and police sources tell them “some 20,000 people have crossed the Ceuta border”. This extraordinary figure is not yet confirmed by official sources.

Until recently migrants who have travelled through Africa to reach Europe have been repulsed by police and border guards at the enormous walls and fences that protect European territory Ceuta. Yet as previously reported, earlier this month the Spanish Supreme Court ruled that it was not lawful for migrants arriving by sea to be turned around and sent away, meaning that even if arrivals had only swam a few yards from neighbouring Morocco, police are legally powerless to stop them.

Brexit boss and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage likewise warned that many of these migrants would not hang around in Spain, a comparatively poor European country, and many would soon be making their way towards Britain.
