Christians face persecution across the globe — but one country has made it almost impossible for them to practice their faith, threatening torture, imprisonment, and execution simply because they believe in Jesus Christ.

That country is North Korea.

“If you’re even found to be in possession of a Bible, you and your entire family are likely going to be thrown into a concentration camp — a work camp — for the rest of your days, never to be heard of, never to be seen again,” CEO of Open Doors Ryan Brown tells BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey.

“To be identified as a Christian — to be found as a Christian — is the equivalent of a death sentence,” he says, pointing out that in North Korea, the highest authority isn’t God, but the state.

“And so, for Christians, who have a higher authority than the state — Christians are immediately seen as enemies of the state. They’re assumed to be enemies of the state or, in some cases, assumed to be allies of the West,” he explains.

How can you call yourself a progressive if you solicit donations to an organization run by… billionaires?

What credible news outlet would be okay with having a political organization pay the full salaries of their mouthpieces to work in their newsroom?

‘We make them by hand. We cannot make them fast enough now’, Mr. Ohta told AFP, adding that customers are facing waits of up to three months.”

Besides the record 13 people killed by Japanese bears in 2025, more than 50,000 sightings were recorded nationwide.

“The animals were seen entering homes, approaching schools and roaming through shopping areas, raising concerns about public safety. The number captured and culled nearly tripled from a year earlier to 14,601, also marking a record high. The crisis is particularly acute in northern Japan, where local media reported that sightings in April were more than four times higher than last year as the animals emerged from hibernation.”

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been secretly carrying out attacks against Iran, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The attacks included a strike on an oil refinery on Iran’s Lavan Island in early April, triggering a major fire and knocking much of the facility offline for months.

Iran acknowledged at the time that the refinery had been struck in what it described as an enemy attack.

The LGBTQ+ movement, like all ideological movements of its kind, relies on new converts to survive and grow. But data increasingly shows that LGBTQ+ identification is in freefall among young people – perhaps indicating that we are witnessing its collapse in real time.

The first rumblings of a cultural shift came earlier this year. A February Gallup poll found that just nine percent of Americans identified as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender in 2025 – a slight but significant drop from 9.3 percent in 2024.

On its face, that may not seem dramatic. But since Gallup first began asking this question in 2012, the number had only ever gone in one direction – up. That year, just 3.5 percent of Americans identified as LGBT. For more than a decade, the movement appeared to be on an unstoppable upward trajectory. Now, for the first time, it has reversed.

Then came perhaps the most revealing data point of all. Psychologist Jean M. Twenge analyzed CDC data and found that among adults ages 18–24, identification as lesbian, gay, or bisexual peaked at around 20 percent in 2022 before dropping to just over 15 percent by 2025. That’s a 21 percent decline in just three years.

Kaufmann himself made the comparison explicit, noting that “the fall of trans and queer seems most similar to the fading of a fashion or trend.”

...the information environment itself changed. Prior to 2022, major social media platforms enforced strict ideological conformity on this issue. Dissenting views were often labeled “harmful” or “misinformation” and removed. That created a distorted perception of consensus, particularly among young people who live much of their lives online.

That all changed in 2022 with Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter, now X. Musk destroyed X’s censorship infrastructure, exposing many young people to arguments challenging the dominant narrative – and they responded. The timing is impossible to ignore. The peak and subsequent decline in LGBTQ+ identification aligns closely with this shift in the digital landscape.

The rise of the LGBTQ+ movement was rapid. Its decline may be just as swift. The only question now is what comes next – and whether we’ve learned anything from this grotesque social experiment.

 The Islamist advance in America may have just suffered a major setback. We’ve been telling you about the situation in Texas, where we recently saw 48 new mosques built in the span of just 24 months.

Folks, this is no coincidence. As Texas goes, so goes the nation. Texas Governor Greg Abbott has warned about Islamic Sharia courts operating in the Dallas area.

Clearly, the Islamists are growing more bold. But it looks like they’re overplaying their hand.

After a Muslim-only event was advertised at a water park in Grand Prairie, Texas, near Dallas, Governor Abbott stepped in. Earlier this week, he sent a letter to the mayor of Grand Prairie threatening to cut funding to the city if it did not cancel the event, which Abbott rightly said was a clear case of religious discrimination. No non-Muslims allowed at a city-owned, taxpayer-funded water park in Texas?

Folks, they say don’t mess with Texas for a reason. The city has now caved and canceled this Muslim-only event.

Governor Abbott scored another victory against Islamists on Wednesday when a federal court ruled that the Texas chapters of the notorious Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) must turn over their donor and donee lists, as well as the tales of the foreign travels of its Executive Director, Nihad Awad.

Late last year, Abbott declared CAIR, along with the Muslim Brotherhood, to be terrorist organizations. CAIR, of course, did not like this. They sued to block the terror organization label, and now a federal judge has ruled that CAIR has to lay all its cards on the table.

Let’s see how this radical Islamist group is really funded! It probably will not be very good for CAIR… but it will be very good for America.

Texas, by the way, seems to be waking up. In March, a statewide proposal to ban Sharia law passed, with 95 percent of voters saying “no” to Islamic law in Texas.

Earlier this week, BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales blasted a Muslim-only event for taking over a water park in Grand Prairie, Texas — and Governor Greg Abbott (R) swiftly threatened to pull funding from the city and shut it down.

What initially caught Gonzales’ eye was the event flyer, which said “Muslims only” twice. The flyer was later updated to say “modest dress only” once it became a topic of controversy.

“I want to just set the record straight, because I know there’s been a lot of confusion. You did have the ‘Muslims only’ on the original flyer, and then you changed it and updated it on the site to read ‘modest dress only,' correct?" Gonzales asks the organizer of the event, Dr. Aminah Knight.

“Absolutely, absolutely,” Knight responds.

The Spanish government has disclosed details of its response plan it intends to deploy for the Dutch cruise ship Hondius, facing a hantavirus outbreak, once it arrives at the Canary Islands this coming weekend.

The Hondius and its 147 passengers are expected to arrive at the Port of Granadilla in Tenerife over the weekend after the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) deemed it the nearest safest location to arrive.

Per the Spanish Health Ministry, the outbreak aboard the ship has resulted in eight confirmed and suspected cases. Three of those people have died, one is hospitalized in Switzerland, one hospitalized in South Africa, and three symptomatic patients that were evacuated from the ship to Amsterdam.

The newspaper El País reports that Defence Minister Margarita Robles affirmed that the quarantine will be “voluntary”...  The Health Ministry, on the other hand said they intend to use all “legal measures” to ensure high-risk individuals comply with the quarantine protocols. “I am convinced that both families and passengers are responsible enough and have enough common sense”...

Two unnamed U.S. officials told NBC News on Wednesday that President Donald Trump’s “Project Freedom” — the plan for American military forces to safely escort commercial ships through the Strait of Hormuz — was “paused” after less than 48 hours because Saudi Arabia denied the use of its airbases to protect ships from attacks by Iran.

Later on Tuesday, President Trump suddenly announced a “pause” to Project Freedom, ostensibly at the request of Pakistan, which has been mediating talks between the U.S. and Iran.

According to NBC’s sources, the real reason for the pause was that Saudi Arabia indignantly informed the U.S. that its Prince Sultan Airbase could not be used to support Project Freedom, and U.S. military aircraft would not be allowed to fly through its airspace to participate in the effort. This would have removed the air support Hegseth described as integral to the operation.

A Saudi source also disputed the characterization of Saudi Arabia as angered by the timing of Trump’s announcement.

Former intelligence agent Aimen Dean said on Thursday that NBC News, or its sources, misunderstood the Saudis’ reservations about Project Freedom. They were not taken by surprise, because as Hegseth and CENTCOM noted on Sunday, the Gulf states have been working with the U.S. military on security solutions for the Strait of Hormuz. Instead, the Gulf states were worried that the U.S. might not protect them against Iranian retaliation, because the U.S. is focused on making a deal with Iran.

“You had attacks against Emirati infrastructure. Fujairah was targeted. Multiple waves involving drones, ballistic missiles, cruise missiles,” Dean wrote. “And Washington’s response was basically: ‘Meh. Minor incident. Let’s not escalate.’”

Dean was referring to Iran’s Monday missile and drone attack on the UAE’s Fujairah Oil Industry Zone, a major oil and cargo hub. The attack caused a fire to break out at the facility. 

President Trump said on Monday that the Fujairah attack did not rise to the level of “heavy firing” that would constitute a ceasefire violation.

The Chinese news outlet Caixin reported on Thursday that a Chinese-owned ship, openly marked as such, was attacked in the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, days before the Iranian foreign minister visited Beijing to discuss his country’s ongoing conflict with the United States.

The Caixin report, citing sources familiar with the situation, did not identify any perpetrators of the attack, though it did note that Iran’s terrorist Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was intentionally targeting random civilian ships in the Strait of Hormuz to disrupt global commerce and had targeted a French company’s ship on Wednesday.
