A female employee of the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute of Siberia and the Far East, a laboratory ostensibly dedicated to finding the cures for deadly diseases, reportedly died from “pneumonia of undetermined origin” last week.

Almost 200 people who came into contact with her are now under observation and, while officials in Siberia say there was no evidence of a lab leak, memories of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic loom over the incident.

According to Russian media reports, the victim recently returned from a trip to the Mongolian border, and could have contracted her fatal pneumonia there. Another report claimed she recently took a trip to Thailand.

Some other local media reports said she “dropped a test tube” containing plague bacteria last month while working at the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute and became sick afterward, but to date there has been no official confirmation of such an incident occurring.

He wrote a letter to Dr. Bonnie Henry, British Columbia’s Provincial Health Officer, reporting the rate of injuries he was seeing after his patients’ first shots. He was told he was the first doctor to report neurological harm from Moderna.

A D-dimer test is a simple, inexpensive blood test used to detect evidence of clotting somewhere in the body. Hoffe began asking his patients who were planning to take the vaccine if they would consent to a D-dimer before the shot, and again four to eight days after. He wanted baselines.

By the time the first eight results came back, five showed evidence of blood clots.

The damage, he emphasized, was hidden and permanent: a clotted blood vessel never returns to normal. Every booster would add to the accumulation.

He could not keep silent. He gave an interview describing what he was seeing. It went viral. It was labeled misinformation. And then, eight or nine days later, his town burned to the ground.

The Lytton fire of June 30, 2021 destroyed 90 percent of the village, killed two people, and leveled roughly 150 homes and businesses within the first hour. Hoffe was in his office seeing patients when it hit. The medical center where he rented space, the one that had fired him two months earlier for talking about natural immunity, was gone. His D-dimer research was gone. The town was gone.

Hoffe is clear about what he believes the fire was. Not a wildfire. Not a forest fire. Arson.

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) released records detailing a May 7, 2020, CIA briefing involving Dr. Scott Gottlieb, the former FDA commissioner who had joined Pfizer’s board of directors the previous year.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. fact-checked Pennsylvania Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro after he claimed that there is “no fetal tissue” in the measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine, known as MMR.

The post included video testimony from Dr. Stanley Plotkin, who developed the rubella component of the MMR vaccine, according to the Smithsonian.

“Plotkin admits to butchering 76 aborted normally developing fetuses, all over three months old, in just one of the many studies that led to the development of his vaccine,” RFK Jr. wrote.

“The rubella virus used in MMR-II is grown on the cultured cell line composed of lung tissue from an aborted three-month-old female embryo and listed as ‘WI-38 human diploid lung fibroblasts’ in the ingredients of MMR-II as portions of these cells end up in each vial of MMR II,” Kennedy added.

“This equals approximately 646 billion pieces of human DNA from an aborted fetal cell line in each vial of MMR-II. In addition to the human DNA, there is also an unspecified amount of human cellular debris in each dose of MMR-II,” the HHS secretary said.

The American Academy of Pediatrics refutes this assertion on its website, stating, “Vaccines do not contain fetal cells. Some vaccines involve growing viruses in human cell cultures originally developed from two aborted fetuses in the 1960s. These cell lines are still going, so no new aborted fetuses are ever needed. Purification processes filter the vaccine during production, and no fetal tissue remains.”

Parsons continued, “They currently have zero measles deaths in Lancaster County. They have one death of a person who died WITH measles, but not from measles...."

A medieval disease known as typhus is surging in Los Angeles County as the region grapples with growing homelessness, unsanitary conditions, and a major rat problem.

Flea-borne typhus, a bacterial disease transmitted to humans through infected fleas, reached an all-time high in the county in 2025, with 220 cases reported. That’s up from 187 cases the year before.

Nearly 9 out of 10 people diagnosed with the disease in 2025 required hospitalization, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

Dr. Dean Winslow is a Stanford professor and infectious disease physician with 50 years in medicine. 

When asked whether a typhus outbreak in one of America’s wealthiest cities indicates a broader health or sanitation failure, Winslow didn’t hesitate.

“Absolutely,” Winslow told the Daily Signal.

“It’s largely an issue of … people living in just horrible conditions in close proximity to rats,” Winslow said, describing rats as the primary hosts involved in the infection.

In recent years, California has restricted some poisons traditionally used to kill rats.

In 2020, Gov. Gavin Newsom signed Assembly Bill 1788, which restricted most uses of four rodenticides because of their potential harm to mountain lions and other wildlife.

Winslow said the restrictions may be one possible factor hindering rat control, noting that pest-control efforts have increasingly relied on “rat traps” and “less potent” methods.

New actions targeting Lyme disease, alpha-gal syndrome, and other tick-borne illnesses are coming from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced Monday, joined by actor Dennis Quaid.

Kennedy laid out the announcement in a video posted to X, framing the effort as a push to speed diagnosis and expand treatment for patients who spend years searching for answers.

“Millions of Americans need faster diagnoses, better care, and real answers,” Kennedy wrote in the post.

The secretary said too many patients are misdiagnosed or go untreated and pointed to nearly half a million Americans diagnosed and treated for Lyme disease each year. He said HHS is investing millions in innovation to build AI-powered tools that improve care, enable earlier diagnosis, and accelerate research.

Kennedy urged recovered patients and those with lingering symptoms to submit their treatment histories through Cure ID, the free FDA and NIH app that collects real-world data. He said patients without a trusted provider can use the clinician locator at hhs.gov/lyme to find experienced doctors by zip code.
