On nov 13 i was in church, during worship. During worship we sang this song. I felt God's presence there.

While worshiping i had a vision of God, sitting on his throne. I dont remember if we sang this song before or after i saw this vision, i tend to think/remember i had the vision first than the next song we sang was the one above, thus confirming the vision.

I call it a flash vision, because it was only for an instant that i saw him, an instant of time like when a flash goes off in a camera while taking a picture. It was almost kinda like a gotcha moment, being so unexpected, or easily dismissed as by thinging "was that really real, or was i imagining this?"

He sat upon a white throne, white light came from the throne, this light also had a tinge of gold to it, the light from throne itself that is, the light from God was itself pure white.

God was clothed in white robes, and he sat upon the throne, he had a white beard and long white hair. He had some sort of crown upon his head.

I had the sense this was God the Father i was standing before.

In his right hand he held a golden scepture, he held it out towards me, with an outstreatched arm. His other arm was upon the other arm of the throne.

There was what appeared to be rays of light, or lightning? eminating from around his "body" Above the lighting or light rays were a rainbow that encricled him, beyond that more white area.

Between me and the throne, was a sea of glass, it was a deep blue in color. (azure blue)

It was not a real vast distance between me and the throne, seperated by this "sea" of glass, but was a rather walkable distance, really not that far it appeared to be within a couple of hundred feet or so at most.

Even though this vision lasted only a very brief instant, it was burned into my mind/spirit.

Wow!  I've always been interested in the sea of glass, myself.  How do you know it's glass and not crystal, for instance?  And why do you think that gulf is there?  Is it to separate anyone from getting "too close" to the throne of God?  Like a moat of sorts?

I saw a vision of God's throne in a dream.  For me, however, His throne was made of a clear crystal-like substance.  He was in white robes as well, but I didn't get a good look at the figure on the throne, I just knew it was God the Father.  The figure and the throne were "darkened" in my vision, but there was bright light all around, as if there were rainbow clouds billowing everywhere.  But the throne and the figure were HUGE, I could just tell they were enormous, even though I didn't have anything to judge the size by.

I heard a masculine voice say, "If you know Jesus is Lord here on earth, how much more in Heaven?"  And then I woke up with the sound of my alarm going off.  ARRGGHH!!  LOL

But wonderful vision, Leroy.  How awesome you can just close your eyes and "see" it again.

in the bible john says the rainbow around the throne was like an emerald,  that has always puzzled me.  what did you see Leroy?  is it a green rainbow/arch or a multi coloured rainbow like we see in the sky.

I had a 'flash' vision that was very quick.    I saw our Lord Jesus giving benediction to the congregation in Heaven  ~~ I saw His profile only.  He was gazing over His congregation ~~ what a great look/profile, His nailed scarred Hands lifted up giving blessings to His dear saved .

.  I remember it well,  though it was very instant, like a flash~~
