Two weeks ago, God gave me my final and most difficult assignment, to post a song based on John 3:16 on this site, with a deadline of today! The Holy Spirit gave me the words and told me to base the music on "Gabriel's Oboe" by Ennio Morricone and "Ave Maria" by Franz Biebl. On Monday of this week, I still didn't have a recording, so on Tuesday at 3:16 am God awakened me and asked me to finish the task. He told me that it will be sung by choirs of angels at the Heavenly Banquet, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, which is very, very, very close at hand. You may hear it sung by my wife (who has the voice of an angel) at http://cottingham.us/GodSoLoved.
God So Loved the World (based on John 3:16)
God so loved the world,
He sent to us His one and only Son
That whoever believes in Him shall never die.
For God so loved the world,
He gave His only Son
So that we might live abundantly,
For God is love.
Jesus died for us.
He died upon a cross on Calvary.
He saved us from our sins for all eternity.
No greater love was this,
To give His life for us and humanity,
To save us from our sins.
He died for us,
And He lives in us,
For God so loved the world.
Amen.
