Dear Holy Spirit please transform my simple words into the thoughts that You want your children who read this to receive from You today. Thank You.
------------
Heaven truly awaits us. Much has been done to make our return a certainty, if we believe in Jesus.
From recent reading the words of a few who have died, gone to visit heaven and returned with a detailed report of their near death experience and return, I would like to share some thoughts that stirred my spirit, as I reached an understanding of their words, though their experience probably can never be adequately expressed in our everyday language.
The impression I received was of great sensory intensity for the eyes and ears and the sense that everything was alive. Harmonious music like hymns of praise filled the air and provided the transcendent background for His, and our, home in heaven.
Light filled the circumambient air from His loving spirit. Flowers, beauty of every form and meeting dear relatives and friends made the place wonderful. And of course, seeing our dear Saviour and our heavenly Father were satisfying beyond compare.
These reports from those who have visited heaven should be a constant inspiration to us as we await our entry into that final home and sanctuary.

Trusting.
We sometimes say we should trust in God. Let us not forget that we have been given a gift from Him in that He trusts, or entrusts, us with the freedom of choice to seek Him and have a relationship with Him. Yes, He and I know that we often do not appreciate nor live up to that trust, because it is often so very hard to stay focused in the presence of distractions caused by pain, or even by pleasure.
The following link (proceed with caution since I did not thoroughly vet this site) has some thoughtful messages relative to God entrusting us that can be useful as we think about this topic.

My request for the dear spirits who read here.
Today, stop at this very moment in time, as you read these simple words, to please take a few moments and seek the sacred silence within and tell Him that you love Him and appreciate the gifts He has given so freely of Himself that we might be restored and glorified in Him through His Son, Jesus, using the freedom of choice that He has given to us.
One of the gifts from Him to us is that of immortality, accompanied by peace and joy in His heavenly home. Soon, hopefully, our trials, temptations and sufferings will be over and we will be gathered together in His arms for eternal bliss and rejoicing. Pray today, and every day, for those who are separated from Him. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide them to Him to never more be separated.
As we wait for our deliverance, let us not be afraid to love each other as we were instructed. Take the time to be gentle and supportive to those around you. WHen your thoughts bring tears, you are one the right path. I love you all.

I provide some Bible verses taken from the gospel of John concerning resurrection. also a hymn called We Gather Together is linked for your edification, together with the verse that is associated with it, John 11:52
“Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. “
“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.” (John 11:25-26 KJV)
“And he that was dead came forth…”(John 11:44 KJV)
“And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; and not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.” (John 11:51-52 KJV)
Gather together. Here is my favorite hymn.
