Here is something I wrote about a year ago. I just wanted to share it with my RITA Now family. *:)

NO LONGER MY OWN

When I asked Jesus to come in to my heart
I asked Him to live His life through me

After all, the goal is not for me to get better and better
The goal is for me to surrender

Because it's not about me
It's about Him

I can no longer take credit for anything in me that's good
because there is no good in me
without Jesus

I am just a sinner dying in my iniquities
and that's why I give Jesus all the glory
for anything I do that's righteous

Otherwise...
Jesus would have died for no reason

We belong to Jesus! Love You All!!!!! *:)

Beautiful poem, Lori! And it is so true, we are not our own, we were bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and Christ purchased men for God (Revelation 5:9).

The moment we surrender our lives to Him, we are His, we belong to Him. We now do His will and His work. And we surrender because of His overwhelming beauty, Love, sacrifice, and perfection.

God doesn't deserve our passing fancy, but our absolute devotion.

Wonderful Lori. As I say, if there is any good thing in me, it's not by hand, but His. Truly, we all need to get into the proper mindset. He is KING! That's somewhat foreign to many westerners. Dying to self, as Jesus did. He always gave the Father, all credit and glory.

Beautiful synopsis of Romans 3 revealed. I, too, experienced this by spiritual revelation last year and it changed my WORLD. God bless.
