“The Power of Christ’s Resurrection”
It’s the broken, hurting heart reaching up to the sky
It’s praying, trusting God without asking reasons why
It’s Truth clung to when all hope seems out of sight
It’s letting go of the world and living in His might
It’s marching on in a climate of hostility and fear
It’s faith, the certainty and assurance He is near
It’s knowing the Savior; receiving His salvation
It’s about serving Him in grateful appreciation
It’s single-mindedness, a life under His direction
It’s victory in the power of Christ’s resurrection
John 11:25 (NASB)
Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies
Romans 6:4-7 (NASB)
4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection,
6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin;
7 for he who has died is freed from sin.
Being a writer (and a sister in Christ) defines who I am; it’s what I enjoy doing. What I write demonstrates my love for Jesus Christ, and thankfulness for the incomparable gift of His salvation.
