Scott; You take first prize!! I would love to hear "Purple Haze" on the ukelele.
However, when I think of ukelele, I have to think of Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole singing "Over The Rainbow".
It is a little slice of heaven!!

Patrick when George Harrison released that giant LP set of "All Things Must Pass"-I would set in the living room for hours playing every song on those discs-I use to play my parents TV and sterio radio/record player combo; when they were gone; although sometimes my mother enjoyed hearing this music to a certain degree-she really loved the song by the Beatles-All You Need Is Love!!

The british invasion music was in my bloodstream back then-Jimi Hendrix was my best guitar player ever-I use to get my dad's plastic string yucalele and do all those guitar solos on that cheap little piece of untuned imperfection!

It must have sounded horrible to someone with a good ear for music-but it was how I started out training my music ear and ever since then I have had the desire to play only one instrument-that being the electric guitar-it is soo flexible when you can add different effects with it!!

I'm just good enough where if someone wanted me to play something on it I would probably sound like a Hendrix solo or just an improvised good guitar solo!! Nothing to send me to the best bands hall of fame-just enough style and composition to pass as a shredder!!

Scott;
The only hot band I really ever knew well was ZZ Top, because they were a Texas Triangle band that played Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas in the early days. They were and still are; very loud and quite smooth!!
As for any Taylors at all....it took me until last year to play "Sweet Baby James" and my favorite "Up on The Roof" in that "tripping across the bridge style" that is James Talor's trademark finger picking. Since his first album came out in '69....it's been a long time gone. "All Things Must Pass" came out in '71 along with Neil Young's "Harvest" Album. Those two still keep me trying to nail down the lid!!

Lisa thanks for the link to the limph node diagnosis-it appeared all of a sudden and it is painful to the touch-so that most likely rules out a tumor according to the symptom list! It says that it should go away withing a few weeks-I will be fasting and praying along with taking care of myself to make sure this does not require anti-biotics-I do not want to go there again-I need those good bacteria in my body in the right amount that I have now!

Lisa there is another cause I have been reading about which caught me by surprise and they are called Salivary gland stones!!

That's a new one for many people! It effects the glands near the ear also; it appears the lymph nodes and the salivary glands do converge together next to the ear on the left and right side of the face as well as under the tongue-of course under the tongue is basically where the salivery glands are also located!

I would like to know if a salivery gland stone is painless or not-that would help me diagnosis for sure what I am dealing with-and possibly more symptoms which these gland stones could produce!

I think it is helpful to get this information out to others so that they don't have to have to much guesswork whenever they come up to a condition like this! I wonder if their is any home remedy to dissolve the salivery gland stones so no sergery is required?!!

I am going to the food health store later to see if they might know something about these conditions! I am pretty sure my problem is just a swollen lymph node-although it is only on one side of my face near my ear-I had this lymph node bump some time last year and it went away in a few days!

Thanks Dave A. for your prayers and advise! I will be monitoring my condition for a few more days-if it gets worse or does not clear up soon then I will take it to a professional!

Patrick if you knew Terry Scott Taylor and The Daniel Amos Band or the Whacky Steve Taylor - This Disco used to be a Cute Cathedral- or Meltdown At Madam Toussad!! We will really be twins seperated at birth!!

Hey, Scott, swelling of the lymph nodes are the most common under the jaw or on the side of the neck. Usually the cause is a tooth absess, viral infection, throat infection, or an upper respiratory infection. Do you have any of these? Usually the symptoms are a fever, night sweats, fatique, chills, or weight loss.

If it continues, have a doctor check it out. Swollen lymph nodes usually indicates infection. You may need antibiotics.

In the meantime, I will pray for healing for you, good buddy!

Here's a link that talks more about it:

Sounds like Scott, you gotta case of the lyric frenzied, lymph node a swellin', short of laundry coin blues!

Seriously, I hope you're feeling better soon. Have you seen a doctor?

We've got to get some music to these words. Patrick had me foot stompin' too! By the way, was that Grumpy Old Christian you "woke up this morning?"

Thanks Patrick good buddy-your friendship means a lot to me-I am just a poor self agent with a hunger to start a rock band but not enough laundry coins to provide for my soiled needs! Hee! Hee!!

Patrick I like those short but spontaneous little ditties better then my long ones-it holds the attention span for those on the go-and it is easier to replay the tune over and over in your head-like your classic lyric:
Sing, Hey Nonny Nonny
The Duck's stuck in the well, purgatory has come and it's raining in hell---I see this song one day being added to all the catholic church hymnal's once they come down off their high horse pedestal!!

Let me try my hand at a short little ditty!

Big Jake Friday was a friend of mine,
he tied his shoes with an old piece of twain;
He ate his food out of a gasoline can,
Got a big red scorch mark where once was his tan;
He fried soap cause his mouth was so dirty,
He whistled at girls cause they was so pretty;
Now he got work at the local bowling club,
You can call him sir-but he likes to be called Bub!!

Lisa or anyone else! Jump right in the water is fine and the fiddles are well tuned!!

Well, I came down to the bottom of this web page...and I saw the bottom of a young girl giving her car a wax job, trying to sell me some insurance. Kind of a racy ad for RITA!!
Anyway, Brother Scott, I pray you heal and heal fast....and on top of that...I pray the Good Lord has mercy on us and air lifts us right out of here!!
Loved your Lyrics, Bubba!! Here's one on the fly for you!!

I woke up Grumpy this morning
But she went back to bed
And the mule don't feel like plowing
So he kicked me in the head
I milked the cows, I feed the goats
Then I sat down on a rock
And had myself some moonshine
'Cause it's only five o'clock

Sing, Hey Nonny Nonny
The duck's stuck in the well
Purgatory has come
And it's raining in hell

Nurse Lisa or anyone! I feel great today but for some reason my left side jaw is swollen where my limph node is at! I did have the chills a few nights ago where I had to get under a bunch of covers and stay there until morning even though the room temperature was 74 degrees!
This was about a week ago-now my limph node is swollen on the left side of my face-the other side is normal!
It is a little better today-must be going away-is there any thing I can take to make the swelling go down-or am I fighting some infection that my body is not telling me about?!!

Lisa thanks for the support that you and Patrick and the others give to my Scarby Tales and Madlibs-without them it would be like a drying up oaisis with tumbleweed and a few allegators fighting me for a drink of cool water!!

Lisa that song above could be a bad version of Thelma and Louise but going down a blind "tornado" alley in a storm chaser vehicle!

Isn't it just great to see all the diversity of music tastes here at the Rita Now sound stage studio in downtown Hobnoster, Oklahoma?!!

We are live here at the recording studio to do a few live recordings from this new alternate punk country jug band known as The Lisa Stillwater and Patrick Joe Walker Crabgrass Jug Band- the short title of the band is called "The Traveling Stillwaters!!"

I am your local band outfitter J.B.Scarbonzo, and I am here today to record the first new song off this up and coming new alternative brand's new CD entitled:

I Fell In Love-Liver Warts And All!

The first single off this New CD is titled:

I got a leg cramp while watching Rosie burn tonight's dinner meal!
We don't go out much during the week just so we can stay at home and eat together;
I like drive's to the park and fishing at the lake while my wife likes to Chase stormy weather;
The night was warm and my feet were tired and Rosie had that look in her eye for something fried;
I had her soak my feet in epson salts as I made eyes at my tall blond host;
But before we knew it the smoke rose from the kitchen and the chicken was toast;
Then on the TV came a weather alert that we was in for one stormy night;
This gave my wife the chills but me a fright;
She got out the map and we hopped in the car and it was an evening of Chasing tornadoes out past the liquor bar;
The storm went around us and the sky soon had cleared; I saw the disappointment in Rosie's eye while I was still cleaning vomit from my beard;
She drived like a maniac and I tossed my cookies looking for a place to heave;
She was so complusive with these tornadoes that she even called this one Steve!!
We came back home and I washed up for bed; she hunkered slowly towards me and stroked my bruised head;
Darling, she said, thanks for coming along and making my day-Tomorrow for breakfast I will make pancakes your way!!

Anybody else who has any recording skills or has a good ear for music or just likes to wing it can give some lyrics to these others songs by this soon to be great Jug Band on Rita Now!!
This post is dedicated to members Lisa Leenie and Patrick Jensen- my good guitar buddy!!
