Another day -- and this severe weather system seem to be INCHING along at a very slow pace.

Yesterday into today (14th into the 15th) was a truly amazing event to see unfold.. at the same time VERY TRAGIC.

Have severe weather plans ready to go at a moments notice ... make sure YOU and your loved ones know the plan well.. Shelter, communications, transportation, food, water, clothing.... all essentials after ANY disaster.

Yes, we're expecting it here tomorrow afternoon, and into the overnight hours. Unless it weakens substantially, I'm considering going to a hotel. We live in a mobile home, and they always say, "if you live in a Mobile Home, Get OUt!". No one around here has basements, as the water table is to high. So while a hotel is not the best alternative, it's better than a Mobile Home.

That's what I did last year, when that big outbreak happened, was to go to a hotel. While there was no damage out here at our place, when those storms started up, I was so grateful to be there.

My room was on the 3rd. floor, so myself and everyone else that was on the 3rd floor, all came downstairs into the Lobby when the storms and warnings started coming through. What a wild night! Several times all of us that came downstairs huddled in the bathroom that was on the first floor. It was an awfull long night.
