One is just for looking for the coming of Jesus' return for us..

Other crowns are for how we live our lives for Jesus, etc.

I have heard where some people having NDE seen people getting rings..

Also in Revelation, it states of some people's names being wrote down on columns in Heaven or maybe it was the New Jerusalem...

Paul writes about some, that will be like getting a hand full of ashes, so I do not know if that will really take place or just showing that we are not doing everything that we could be doing..

I think that is what Paul was trying to illustrate though.. That we need to be working daily for the kingdom of Heaven laying up our treasures there and not on earth.

I found it interesting that our Home, the New Jerusalem, will be made of gold silver and precious stones. Like our rewards. It seems that while our bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit currently (1Corinthians 6:19) it looks like our rewards may eventually become the Temple of the Lord as in New Jerusalem.

And the Lord is constructing this New Jerusalem at the same time that He, who began the good work within us, continues His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Perhaps the New Jerusalem construction will be done when He returns because our earning rewards is over that day and it becomes the time to receive the rewards. Or Perhaps because the Bride is complete. Or maybe the Bema seat will be like a barn raising party, or perhaps an open house tour pointing out each of our rewards as pillars or walls in the New Jerusalem. Lots of coffee this morning.

in 1 corinthians 3:12 - 15 if any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. it will be revealed with fire and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss, he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

God will reveal our works either bad or good. as the Fire will test our works, if it is survived, that is our reward, if no left in it, still have eternal life which is that they will be saved from being going to Hell.
