After completing the article on the Patriarchs, the next day turned out to be the 70th anniversary of the Wannsee Conference. On January 20, 1942 the German Powers launched the formal plan of logistics to the Final Solution, that is, the mass murder of God’s people. However, as has been documented here, the initial stages began with the election of Adolf Hitler in 1933 and the passing of the first anti-Semitic laws on Passover itself, which was April 11, 1933. Another start point of the Holocaust that is commonly cited is Kristallnacht, which occurred November 9-10, 1938. Indeed, this is when the Holocaust accelerated from law to action.

Thinking on such things brought back to mind Jeff Exner’s contribution that the Holocaust was a seven year period with the coming persecution in the 70th Week, the second set of seven years as pictured by Jacob’s two periods to obtain each wife. The analogy is quite startling since Isaac (the Son) and Rebekah (the Church) avoid this whole time of trouble, since Abraham (the Father) ensured that such a thing would not happen by sending Eleazar (the Helper, Holy Spirit) to get and bring back the bride. However, Jacob goes alone to the far country and thereby gets into trouble and must serve one period of seven years for each of his brides. Jacob wanted Rachel, but the custom was that the older must be married off first and so Jacob was tricked on his wedding night to find himself awake the next morning with Leah instead. His real goal then would require another seven years, which he did.

The interesting issue with two periods of seven years would then mean that the Holocaust was not a period unforeseen in the Bible, if it was indeed seven years. So is there some way to see if there might be more confirmation to these seven years? While looking through the timeline of the Holocaust there was another date that stood out above the rest. With the many laws being passed by Hitler to squeeze the Jews out of German society from 1933 to 1938, 25 percent of German Jews had immigrated and were causing a refugee problem for the world. This then led to the date of concern on the timeline.

On July 6-15, 1938, a League of Nations Conference was convened by the U.S. in Evian, France. Delegates from 32 countries attended to see how these nations could assist Jews fleeing Hitler. So which countries decided to help? None. And at that, it gave the Germans a green light to go further, as no nation would step up to the challenge. Here in the U.S. the concern was the Depression and lack of jobs that would be competed for by the Jews. Is it any wonder then why the world would soon face World War II?

Let us then consider the dates of this conference in Evian, France. The last day of the meeting was July 15, 1938, which corresponded to the 16th to 17th of Tammuz, since the 17th begins at dusk. The 17th of Tammuz is a day of mourning for the Jews to commemorate Moses breaking the tablets at Sinai, the ceasing of the daily offerings due to Nebuchadnezzar’s siege, and the breaching of Jerusalem’s walls by the Romans in 70 AD. It was also at this time that war broke in Israel during the Lebanon War of 2006 and it was also this date that corresponded to July 4, 1776 and the Declaration of Independence. In any regard, this date of July 15, 1938 goes down as the day the nations of the world turned their backs on the Jewish people.

If we then start from this date of July 15, 1938 and advance 2,520 days, the time would run out on June 7, 1945. Other than June 7th being 22 years prior to the taking of Jerusalem by Israel in the Six-Day-War in 1967, there is no other significance here. However, one month prior on May 8, 1945, Germany surrendered to end the Holocaust. But what is also interesting is that May 8, 1945 corresponded to Iyar 25 on the Hebrew Calendar. Under the observed calendar, this is day 40 in the count of the Omer. But if the counting of the Omer starts on the day after the Sabbath Day, as with Jesus’ resurrection on the 17th of Nisan, then Iyar 25 would have been day 39 in the count and Christ’s Ascension would have been the next day. Thirty-nine was of course the maximum number of lashings one could receive to avoid forty. With this period ending just before Christ’s anniversary day of Ascending to Heaven, clearly we are to be like the believers in Acts who longed for His return. One might think these events would have awaken some out of their slumber. In any way, a definite period of trouble for Israel was over on May 8, 1945.

The day counts then from July 15, 1938 to May 8, 1945 was 2,490 days, which is 30 days short of seven 360-day years (2,520 days). Seven lunar years would equal 2,480 days. It would seem that this time does fit the separate periods of seven years of Jacob’s troubles. Of course, this is only based upon an analogy with the clear biblical teaching that the seven years of Daniel’s 70th Week are the years yet to come with more dire consequences for the whole world.

However, though those days will come, it does not mean that one has to be a casualty among them. For the non-believer, there is still time to believe that Jesus was the Messiah who did fit all of what the Bible had predicted. Belief in Christ and his sacrifice now will ensure deliverance as the Bride of Christ in the scenario depicted by Isaac and Rebekah. Those who are part of the Bride of Christ will not go through the final period of seven years. Then there is a lesson to those who are part of that Bride, who are promised deliverance from the time to come. That is, it is also not time to be among those who do not watch for Christ’s return and end up aiding the enemy in the coming destruction. Those who watch, will warn others and ensure that they do not add to the coming confusion. As those who stood by and watched the last Holocaust unfold, let us not aid or help set up the next.

This study came out of a study I have yet to finish concerning the Patriarchs through Joshua and what they may relate to concerning the end of the age. Maybe it should be called "Generations".

Clay, I deleted the video and the name of the person who did the video because this person's teachings don't line up with our beliefs here at RITAN.

This person uses the parable of the ten virgins and the parable of the wheat/tares to say that believers can lose their salvation, be left behind at the Rapture, and be made to go through the Tribulation. The parables this person uses are taken out of context. They aren't Rapture parables. They are second coming of Jesus parables, and they apply to Israel and the Tribulation saints during Daniel's 70th week.

Also, once a person has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they are sealed with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will never leave them. They can't lose the Holy Spirit.

When reading the accounts of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, there are parallels to God’s overall plan found within those stories. M.R. DeHaan penned a book, Portraits of Christ in Genesis in 1966 that covers many of these details. Chuck Missler has presented the story of Isaac in similar fashion detailing the parallels to Jesus. The point is that Genesis lays the foundation of understanding God’s plan and there seems to be a more complete picture in view that seems to have been missed. But let us first look at the story of Isaac.

Isaac’s birth is said to have been an impossibility. Some years later, Abraham is told to take his only son and sacrifice him on Mount Moriah (the highest part of Moriah north of the Temple Mount is actually Golgotha at 777 meters above sea level). Just before Isaac is ready to give a willing sacrifice, an angel stops Abraham and a ram is offered instead. Abraham calls the place, "in the mount of the Lord it shall be seen" and indeed it later would be seen fulfilled by the Messiah in the same place. But Isaac is not mentioned again until he receives his bride, Rebekah (meaning "to tie"). However, Sarah (meaning "princess") dies during this in between time of Isaac’s "absence" between the sacrifice and wedding. It is during this time that Abraham commissions his servant (Eleazar means helper) to go get a bride for his son. The servant goes to a far country and Rebekah agrees on faith to marry a man she has not seen. The servant brings Rebekah to Isaac, who is seen coming to greet her. This story so eloquently tells the story of Jesus and his first coming until he returns. Isaac represents Jesus and Sarah represents Israel. Jesus also mourns the loss of Israel, but rejoices when his servant (the Holy Spirit) brings him his bride (the Church). But the analogies do not stop there.

As we consider the importance of the Isaac story parallels, there are other parallels that are given in Scripture that expand the overall story. The other parallels are made by Paul through the inspiration of the Spirit. The first parallel is Ishmael and Isaac. In Galatians 4:22-24, Ishmael is said to represent the Law given at Sinai and Isaac represents the Grace of Christ given at Jerusalem. Not only did Ishmael come before Isaac, but he was only a son by law and not what was promised. The other parallel concerns Jacob and Esau. According to the analogy in Romans 9, Esau represents natural Israel that is not the saved remnant represented by Jacob. Here then is the big item that seems to have been missed. If we assemble all of the analogies, then the dispensations of Israel and the Church are seen in a way that could only have been mapped out by God himself. The details of the story are always significant.

The overall analogy begins with a Father (Abraham) who is requested by Sarah (the princess wife–Israel or the woman) to have a legal son outside of God’s plan. This leads to Ishmael (the Law), but later God’s promise of a Son (Isaac, Jesus) is fulfilled. The Father (Abraham) then offers up his only Son (Isaac) at Golgotha. Sarah (Israel, the woman) then dies and her Son mourns at her loss (representing Israel’s blindness) so the Father sends his Servant (the Helper) to obtain a bride for the Son. The Servant then brings the bride (Rebekah–to tie, bind) to the Son (Rapture) and they are married. Out of their marriage there are then two sons born. The first born (Esau) does not obtain the birthright, but hastily rejects it (natural Israel, which is not saved). The second son, Jacob (whose name is changed to Israel), obtains the birthright, but he must then endure a time of trouble to obtain the wife he desires (the Tribulation). Israel (Jacob) then returns to the land of Israel.

Therefore, the stories of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob weave the story of the ages. Behind what really happened is a representation of the history of Israel to the coming of the Messiah and the final redemption of Israel. It also accurately portrays the insertion of the Church Age without abandoning the promises reserved to the nation of Israel (Jacob). Hopefully the below diagram helps in that understanding.

Twink, the thought of a seven day warning is nice, but somehow i think it is just wishfull thinking, cause in the scripture where Jesus say's when you see all these things begin to happen look up,for your redemption draweth nigh, I think that is our warning ,although there is not specific time given, when you look at the start of when the things his is talking about, you see, Luke 21:20 " when you see Jerusalem compassed with armies. so that tells me we will at least see that much,and with all that is going on,it looks like we will be seeing this very soon..

Hi Susan. Revelation 7:9 says a great multitude that no one could count. This multitude is immediatly after the four horsemen in chapter six. Revelation 7:14 says these are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. When Revelation 9:16 quotes a number of 200,000,000 then to me "a great multitude that no one could count" is probably bigger than this, but then that's just a guess of mine. We know that 1/4 of the population dies in Revelation 6:8. That will be close to 2,000,000,000 by todays population. I think the great multitide will easily pass ten percent of 2 billion when people realize that the Bible is true after the rapture.

The "great dilusion" from 2 Thessalonians 2:11 is talking about those who refuse to believe.

Im not so sure there will be millions that know what has happened because a great deception will "blanket their eyes" from the truth. Those whose eyes are open (for example the sealed 144,000) will have a huge task in getting the truth out.

As for a warning - personally I think not. And this is one reason Paul is always exhorting to "keep watch because you do not know when that day will come" - keep your lamps full and the wicks trimmed because the Rapture has been imminent from the earliest days of the Church.

God is already giving out His warnings just as it said He would do so in scripture. The rapture when it happens will be so fast - a twinkle of an eye is not even one second - that I doubt we will even feel it - one minute we will be here doing something totally normal - the next twinkle before Jesus. I do not believe there will be any "shock". God will have orchestrated things so very precisely that I think we will be absolutely rejoicing over our new incorruptible bodies. Aside from our bodies our minds/brain will be operating on an entirely different level - it's so hard to fathom but we will instantly know what has happened and I would say fall down and rejoice and give praise will be the first thing that comes to mind. It's fun to imagine how it may feel and to imagine what our homes in heaven may be like - but truly - I don't think our feeble human imaginings can have any idea at all of what it will be like -too glorious for our minds to comprehend.

Anytime now is good for me - the sooner to be out of this wicked old world the better. My prayers for unsaved have lost their urgency strangely - I've planted seeds where I can and there is a lull in my spirit as if God already certainly knows who are His and who are not and that there is little time now in which we can do too much. Certainly if opportunity presents I will use it - but - the urgency is gone. And - I seem to hear that the Lord's patience is almost exhausted - the warnings have gone out, there are worldwide revivals preaching repentance and a return to God , the earth is being shaken, their is famine and pestilences, there is pending war in the middle east. there are scoffers and mens hearts have grown cold within them. Children turn against parents and rebel. Knowledge has increased and is increasing so rapidly we cannot even hope to keep up with it. It is all happening - just as He said it would. I think our time is short.....

That sounds like a plausible scenario. If so, I would think the "hidden ones" might be new Christians. I think right after the rapture happens there will be many that will give their lives to Christ in a very short period of time. There will be millions that instantly know what has happened, even among the Jews.

I think our warning will be minutes at best. Remember, if what we've studied is correct, then the Rapture is like the bridegroom coming for his bride in an ancient Jewish wedding. Therefore, the "warning" will be the same one the bride got -- the shout of the groomsmen (the angel's shout) and the fanfare of trumpets (the trump blasts).

Remember, it is at the LAST TRUMP that the dead are raised and we will be changed in the twinkling of an eye, which means, there will be many trumpet blasts beforehand. If this is truly like Rosh Hoshanah, it will be 100 blasts until the Tekiah Gedolah, or the one, long, loud & sustained blast.

THAT will be our warning. I believe that's all we'll get. The shout, so we can know what it is, the trumpets, to give us time to come out to meet Him, where we'll witness the dead rising, probably pretty fast, I wouldn't imagine it would be a lengthy event, and then OUR translation before ascending like a rocket.

I'd always pictured lifting leisurely off the ground, but I'm not so sure anymore that we will be slowly floating upward. I think Christ will call us by name and we'll go shooting up to the clouds so fast, we might not even realize we've been snatched.

I often wonder what it's going to be like to be instantly translated like that. It will definitely be a strange, exhilirating experience to be sure. I wonder if we'll be in "shock" and need some adjusting to the idea, or if we'll put on our glorified selves as if it was always meant to be.

All in all, I believe that the rapture and things leading up to it is a sequence filled process.

1) Trumpet blast

2) Dead in Christ rise

3) Mortality puts on immortality, in the twinkling of an eye

4) Then we will stop and meet dead resurrected saints and Christ in the air

I also believe that we will all be called by name, and that the Lord will also give some advance warning. All these seperate events are all part of the "rapture", are they not? Yet, they cannot all happen simultaneously, in the twinkling of an eye, can they? Can God bend or warp space and time to accomodate His plans, I believe so. Can God give a 7 day, 3 day, or 30 min advance warning, why not? Let us remember also, that these events will only be experienced by the church. The world will not be aware of any of it, ergo to them it is instantaneously. But for the church, perhaphs it does'nt all happen sumultaneously.

I'm leaving my options and the power of God open to His discretion.

I sure hope we have a little warning just so I can set things in place before it's too late and try one last time with my family members that are not 100% beleivers. At least to go trying my best is better than being ignorant to thinking time will change their ways

So Noah had 7 days, Lot had almost 1 day, so we the Church may not have any warning, since we are going to be changed.. Actually there have already been lots of warnings that it's soon, but we just do NOT know when it will happen.. My June 4, 2009 rapture vision, I thought we'd be gone back in Sept. 2009..

The scripture also promises that the Lord will alway send warnings, prophets, and His word. As He did with Abraham with regards to Sodom & Gomorrah. There are many instances and pictures of God doing so. It is part of His character. Just as any parent would with their children. For both good and bad. Consequences for sin, rewards for good behaviour, or for a job well done. God may give us unexpected blessings or gifts, but He will never take us be surprise. The reason why so many will be surprised when they get left behind, or end up in Hell is because they did'nt pay attention to God. Is'nt that what child birth is all about. Looking for the signs, telling us the birth of the baby is near. We're always looking for signs. Farmers, the weather, the stock market, personal relationships, there always indicators at play. So to, with the things of God.

What scripture says there will be a 7 day warning?

The idea of a 7 day warning comes mainly from:

Gen 7:9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
Gen 7:10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
Gen 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

I think there are other scripture referances, and other threads here on ritanow that mention the idea of some kind of warning as well.
