Unfortunately, there isn't any solid concrete evidence out there that it will happen or not, but there's buzz about it out there. Just Google "Elenin three days sun" and there are claims that it [ Elenin aka Wormwood aka Planet X ] will eclipse the sun for three days in late Sept this year.

For those who might not know, earthquakes are occurring with Elenin.

NASA is downplaying Elenin - have maintained that it's just a small harmless comet.
If that were so, why did they include it in their Jet Propulsion Laboratory planetary models ?
It will also be in alignment with at least the earth and sun in Sept and will be closer to earth than it was when the largest earthquakes have occurred in Chile, ChristChurch New Zealand and Japan and it was still pretty far away when those alignments occurred.
With that in mind, think of the possible even bigger earthquakes that might occur when it's in alignment and closest to earth in late Sept [ Feast of Trumpets ] and Oct.
Reminiscent of sixth seal earthquakes from Revelation.

Then again, nothing at all might happen - we just don't know - only God alone knows "when" the rapture will be of course.

Oh, sorry *blush* - misunderstood - -  to answer ~
the way I read Revalation 6:12-14, when the sixth seal is broken, is that everything occurs almost at once, the massive earthquake, the sun turning black, the moon turning red, stars falling from the sky.
Then
"The sky receded like a scroll..." Revelation 6:14
And that's when I think the rapture will take place, meeting the Lord in the air Thessalonians 4:17 with the dead rising first.
I think we'll meet Him in the air "as" the earthquake begins with the sun turning black and moon turning red and stars falling from sky.

Recall the moment Jesus died on the cross for us, at that moment, there was a large earthquake and holy people were raised from the dead.

"And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.
At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus' resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people. When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, "Surely he was the Son of God!"

nobody may 100% know what may come during the 3 days before rapture ... but it is still a good find that can be considered thinking about ... not saying they are 100% accurate in themselves

IMHO I really do not believe so.  The most likely scenario for the days of darkness is during the tribulation - after the rapture.  The main point of the rapture is for Jesus to come and snatch the true and faithful Church away - to keep them from these terrible hours.  We are not appointed to any of the wrath concerning the tribulation period.

Also - were there 3 days of darkness immediately prior to the rapture then it would be a very clear signal and there is nothing in Scripture "after three days of darkness look up".  No - it is when you see the signs and the seasons then look up for your redemption draws nigh. Nowhere does it say three days of darkness will be one of those signs.

As far as Elenin/Nibiru/Planet X whatever - why the concern?  We know full well that our precious Lord will protect us from anything that may come to pass from this.  I do not believe any of these things are Wormwood personally.  Wormwood I believe will be put into space by the Lord just before the Angel is instructed to hurl it to earth - you try to limit God when you look for planets etc that are all impossible you tube scenarios etc with no real credibility.  The fact is - only NASA really know what's out there currently and you can bet anything catastrophic would be kept a closely guarded secret.  But again - why worry?  I hope things happen quickly now because I am so so so longing to go home - daily the world grows more cold and daily I feel more apart from it.

I'm with Mishka.  IF there will be three days of darkness, we'll be gone beforehand.

Otherwise, people would be freaking out - I don't know about you, but *I* would freak out if the sun was eclipsed by something OTHER than the moon... - and therefore, these days would not be "like the days of Noah" that Christ foretold.

Right before the Rapture, people will be oblivious to it.  If there is a HUGE sign in the heavens, like a dwarf star eclipsing the sun, that sign won't be given until after Christ takes His Church.

No one will be expecting it, in my very humble opinion...3 days of darkness may come at the very time we disappear or right after.

If anyone has ever read the rapture vision of 1996, some man claimed that God gave him a vision of a an orange UFO in the sky that got live news coverage all over the world because it was the first that was there for all to see. Then some kind of economic collaspe happened in the U.S. where everybody was trying to buy food when there was barely any left, and then the world had about a week of darkness before the rapture happened. I don't know if that corrolates to the OP's post but I thought I would put that down for those who have not heard of it.

I didn't share this dream the other morning when I had it because I was a little sad about the timing (wanting it to be now, sooner). I woke up on the morning of July 28 having had a dream of the date 27th..."what"? I had to laugh and cry a little ~another month?? but I see above you are all referring to September.....There is still August (LOL)....I waited at the window for a step-father, as a child, it was always dark and he rarely showed while I waited. When he did arrive, sadly he was usually drunk. I feel this wait, like that child....apprehensive....but with undying hope.
