Shuffling through the different time periods given in Daniel and Revelation give many possible scenarios for 2012 being the start of something big.
Here is a timeline for Friday March 2, 2012 which is the earliest combination I have come across.

From Daniel chapters 8 and 12
Until when is THE VISION, the daily sacrifice and the desolating transgression, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled? And he said to me, For 2,300 evenings and mornings, and then the sanctuary will be put right.
What shall be THE END of these things? And from the time the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that desolates set up, 1,290 days shall occur.

It makes you think about why that phrase for March is "it comes in like a lion and out like a lamb." Sounds like rapture time to me!!

This thread intrigues me for some reason. What is the vision? Maybe I'm just dense today. Yah know how it is now and then! Don't act like you don't know what I'm talkin' about either! I gots all yah numbers! Fess up! Yes! I'm feeling fiesty! Oh, and don't forget that famous saying "Beware the ides of March" (scary dramatic music now playing).

What is the vision?
In chapter 8 Daniel is given a two-fold vision that starts with the first abomination of Antiochus IV and ends with the final abomination of the Antichrist.
The length of the final vision is 2,300 days.
Why 2,300 days? Why not 2,520? If the days had not been shortened no life would remain.

Golden Knight~"Beware the Ides of March!" The Ides of March is March 15th. This is the date that Julius Caesar was supposedly assassinated in 44 B.C. (There's that number 44 again!) Just being curious I looked up J.C.'s info. and found a bust made of him. He kind of reminded me of someone:

Good point. I have thought about that for some time. I see the seven feasts (1) Passover - fulfilled by Jesus, (2) Unleavened Bread - fulfilled by Jesus, (3) First Fruits - fulfilled by Jesus, (4)Pentecost - A harvest feast not fulfilled yet, (5)Rosh Hashanah - A feast of memorial blowing of trumpets not fulfilled yet. (6) Yom Kippur - A feast of judgment not fulfilled yet, (7) Tabernacles - A feast of dwelling with the Lord not fulfilled yet.
Some would argue that Pentecost was fulfilled at the reception of the Holy Spirit but this was for the Church, not for Israel. Jesus returning at Pentecost to receive the second harvest and save the Jewish remnant would fulfill this feast.
Rosh Hashanah - Perhaps a day to bring those who remain alive on earth into the knowledge of God and the kingdom. Everyone comes to Jerusalem to worship the King.
Yom Kippur - The judgment seat of Christ. Crowns.
Tabernacles - Beginning of the Millennial Kingdom.
Remember this is all speculation on what could be a possible outcome to prophecy. It's failure will not stop the return of Christ. Have the faith of Simeon.

GOC, thanks for the timeline! I agree with L4H, that everything's lining up and fitting in with 2012-2018.
I'd never thought about "In like a lion and out like a lamb", and "the Ides of March" in light of the prophetic. That's some food for thought!

Daniel 8:3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
The ram represented Persia (Iran) in Daniel’s vision. I wonder is there a modern day meaning for this vision tied to tomorrow’s elections?
