Last year, I took two college courses, World History 1 & 2.   As a Christian, when coming upon "some" historical names, I would have a very strange reaction to them in my spirit.  Who were these people?  When I get to heaven, I want to know who these people were; I believe there is a very dark/angelic history associated with at least some of these people.

Yes Akhenaten was the odd duck in that long line of Egyptian Kings.  He is the one who changed his name from Amenhoptep IV, his singular god was the sun god named Aton.  His queen was the famous Nefertiti, he was right before Tutankhamun; it was a convoluted mess.

My notes have Joseph sometime in the time-frame of 1550 - 1400BC, that would have put him right after Joseph.  But there are other dates for Athenaten; still right after Joseph.  Who knows exact dates from then, they could have influenced one another.  Akhenaten probably got at least part of his ideas from the Hebrew Nation I would guess.

I pray for a huge library in my mansion in heaven with a history of humanity from God's point of view and answers to every question that has ever been.  I can promise you that the first section I will read will be the history from creation through the times you mentioned.  I think that would be pretty fascinating stuff!  So many questions and such a large part of ancient history has been lost to us. 

I don't want to know everything immediately upon entering heaven.  I want to read and ponder slowly and have a million of those "Ahah!" moments.  It will not be theories but absolute truth and I want Christ next to me discussing it all and showing me everything we could have never known on earth.  Now that sounds like heaven to me!

Add me to the list of those wanting to get the "real" history straight from God.  It frustrates me that intellectuals from our era completely scoff at eyewitness accounts from ancient times and label everything they can't explain by today's standards as being mythological.

I won't say there couldn't have been some embellishments through the years, but there are still some things that don't make any sense unless they were based upon actual reports.  They didn't write novels back then; they wrote down what they believed to be true.  At least, that's my understanding.

Anyone looking for me can find me in that personal library with my nose stuck in a book.  Notes strewn around, too, probably. I long for this opportunity.

I believe there will be many classes offered where we can search together for answers.  And yes, I believe we will see very life like "real" videos of the times and subjects we will study.  It will be as if we were there.  Who knows, maybe some field trips "to observe" as it happened.  Or special guests to tell us how it was.  Lots of pleasant surprises to look forward to.  We have much to learn.  Or should I say, "unlearn".  I believe we've been taught many falsehoods that we need to get corrected, too.
