OK.  So TODAY, 6/2/2011 is supposed to be Ascension Day, but some orthodox churches actually celebrate it until Sunday, the 5th.

OH...I think I answered my own question...

Pentecost is 50 days after Easter, right?  So that would put it June 13th?

Didn't CJ say in an earlier post that he felt that the Rapture would be at Pentecost, or is that when the two witnesses are revealed?  Oh, I don't care...Just Rapture us already!!!!  LOL!

LOL rbmom888, I think that is pretty much how a lot of God's children are feeling about now.  I was wondering if every single day had been guessed already?Are we having fun yet?  Praise be to God, we certainly are having a good time watching anyway I think.

Actually:

Easter and The Feast of First Fruits are both always on a Sunday.   This year,  they were both on the same Sunday.  Therefore this year Petacost Sunday and The Feast of Pentacost (also always Sunday) will both fall on the same day too.  50 days from Easter is June 12th though.  The nature of 50 days, is the same day of week at end of count.

For "regular" Christians,  Pentacost starts at Either midnight to count the day.  Or at Sunrise to celebrate the Resurection of The Christ.

For "messianic" Christians or those who believe in the keeping of The Feasts of The Lord,  The Feast of Pentacost starts at sunset of June 11th.
