The guided missile destroyer, the USS Porter was damaged in a collision with an oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz (Arabian Gulf).

Ahh! Too many ships too close in that area. Not surprising really. It's a miracle it didn't happen sooner. I'm just glad this is all it is. I wonder if there's any injured? It looks like lifts are there with the rescue workers.

LOL @ "lifts" ~~~that is the side of the ship and a door that has been flattened (yes it does look like a lift.
No reports of anyone hurt as of yet.
Another reminder how easy it is for civilians to misunderstand the military. Oops! Please educate me whenever possible. My heart was in the right place. lol I'm glad there's no reports of injured and therefore no need for lifts at all. A flattened door, hmmm. Would I have recognized it if it wan't flattened? Only the Lord knows!
