I look Foward to the 22nd. Perhaps Campings messages and how many are affected by his...logic(?) will finally be put to a rest

I can't remember anyone here expressing date setting beyond  speculation.      Camping 'harolds' his date setting as absolute, 100%,  guaranteed, this is it, the whole world will be destroyed, only 2% will be saved, and all who  disagree are doomed.

I am sorry but a lover of God loves the truth of God.  Camping is not only a false prophet but Mr. Camping is a heretic who preaches a false gospel, not the gospel of Jesus Christ.  He teaches that no matter how much a man would like to be saved that calling Jesus Christ and asking for salvation may still not allow a man to be saved because Jesus can just decide not to save him.  That is heresy pure and simple and against the Word of God.  Camping has constantly, over and over declared anti-God and anti-biblical, and quite simply anti-christ statements.  I am against all things Camping. 

I would advise stearing clear of everything that mr camping says even if it sounds true because once a prophet has been found false you can never trust a word they say.  Mr. Camping has a record of lies.

I believe the Lord will come after 2,000 years of church history and we are very close to that time now if you start it at the day of Pentacost in 32 AD; and count all the extra days on the gentile calendar of the difference of 5 days for each gentile year to add to each year on the jewish calendar of 360 days.

If you add all these extra days up over this 1979  year period it should equal about 2,000 years! That is from 32 AD to 2011 is 1979!

There is a difference of 21 years to be accounted for to add up to 2,000 years!! That is where you count all the 5 extra days for the 36(5)  days in the gentile years of that 1979 year period and it comes to something like 27 years!!! 

I think if you subtract one year from 32AD which the pentacost feast may have been in 31AD!!

So that would be 20AD and the 27 years of my total will be the 2,000 years of church history minus the 7 year tribulation period which is by grace not counted!!!

Maybe someone could do a better job of calculating how long the Church Age is from Pentacost in 31AD or 30AD!!

We only need one sign to know that the seven year countdown is near and the will be this September with the Palestinian vote on giving land to Israel's enemy by a forced Peace Treaty which may come even sooner then this September event!!

I believe the Lord wants all the nations of the world to take a step forward and cast their vote either for Israel or for this Palestinian State which will mark for judgment all those nations who turn their back on Israel--This will begin the tribulation period!!

The rock that God may throw in the eye of the nations because of this action is the rock from space comet Elenin!! Which will show up on the earth's doorstep by September 2011!!

I look for the rapture sometime before the feast of Pentacost or not much time after this historic date!!

The church was born on Pentacost I would not be surprised if we were carried away on this date-but I cannot make a date happen!! It is only a possibility as is every day from now on just as good a rapture date as the next one!!

We just have to be alert for the day is now closer then it ever has been!!

I agree PaulAussie.  I think it's more than sad.  I mean, I hope it's joy for all of us and I'd be the first to issue Camping an apology if he was right, but more than likely, the 22nd is going to be a hurtful day for MANY people.  We really need to pray for these folks.

I believe you are right Scott.  The creation week parallels are pretty much undeniable:

The first part of this study is about the patterns of numbers in the Bible. In the beginning, God set the pattern of the days of the week. The following verses seem to indicate through this pattern, that God views one day as a thousand years on earth:

Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it is past, And like a watch in the night.2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Psalm 90:4 and 2 Peter 3:8 certainly speak of the eternal nature of God and His longsuffering, when speaking of a thousand years and a day. However, Peter says a thousand years is a day twice in two different ways. When things are mentioned twice in Scripture, it is generally expected that there will be a dual fulfillment or it has a dual meaning.

The first meaning in 2 Peter 3:8 is obviously speaking of God's longsuffering when we look at the immediate context. Upon further study we find evidence throughout Scripture that God has set a pattern after the creation week for the time span He has planned for His redemptive work of man. This second meaning fits with the context of the rest of 2 Peter 3 about the day of the Lord, in that the last thousand years will be ruled by Christ in the flesh.

This is a good thread to read and consider what God has in mind to combat Satan who is behind this false date announcement.

Why do I say that?  Because after the day has passed with out the rapture occurring, the unbelieving world will then never believe a TRUE warning when it comes. Especially if it is soon thereafter.  What's that you say?

Lot was given a direct warning from Gods angels a few hours before the firey destruction of Sodom and Gomarrah.  Noah was given a few days (7) before Gods destruction of all the unrighteous and violent world before the flood.   I think they both gave warning to friends, neighbors and anyone who would listen, but no one did and all perished.

The pattern is that God does give a sure word of warning to His righteous before he brings on a time of destruction.  And, believe me when I say that the full 7 years of Daniels 70th week will be a time of emmense destruction; so much so that God has to somehow shorten the time as to allow for the saving of a remnant of mankind.

What I believe is the scenerio about to be played out this May 21st is, first: a false date is set by someone that a great many people in the World accepts as Gods messenger and that date is found to be inaccurate and false.  Secondly: God warns the watchers who are looking for the return of the Bridegroom  a few hours or days before, the true time of the rapture and those watchers tell their love ones and communities of the impending event but because of the false prediction of "a man of God" they will not believed until after the event occurrs.

There was no grace for those not on board the ark at the time of Gods first world wide destruction.  There was no grace for those in Sodom and Gomarrah.  But I believe Gods grace will be poured out on all who truly call on the Name of Jesus during the Tribulation.  Satan would not be expecting that because He is so under the Law.  And so God will take what Satan meant for evil and turn it into something GOOD.

Anyway, thats my thoughts on this issue.
