I have a question for anyone

Since Christ is the groom and the Church is the bride, who are the guests? Got to thinking about this yesterday. Can't figure it out. Are the guests and the bride the same? Could the guests be those saved before the church was established? I remembered what Jesus said about John the Baptist (Luke 7:28). not being as great as the least one in the kingdom. What say you all?
