All my gueses are gone as of this Feast of Trumpets. I feel a bit like the Apostles when they said "Where would we go Lord? You have the words of eternal life." I can't stop watching, but I think if we are still here after Rosh Hashana then I will look more to Israel than Feast days. 

I say that now and mean it. But I also know that when the Feasts days approach I'll be watching them too. I can't help myself. But I think my witnessing about the Rapture is going to be down graded after next month. After an entire year of "pestering" everyone I know, I think my credibility is about shot regarding rapture timing.

Why people guess at all is beyond me, with Matthew 24:44, "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.", yes I know that the verse I posted does not mean month or year or season, but we are not told the day; the day is what people often predict. Stop guessing days -_-

Some people on the forum actually do guess dates, they are the datesys (fictional term I created to call those who set dates). I just hope some of them who read and hear the datesys don't fall away from Christ when the datesys predicted dates are proved wrong.

Because decent amount of people in 1844 following the Great Disapointment, the William Miller failed prediction, fell away from Christ during the time and cults arose (SDA) and other such matters. Because I can see and tell, some of those who joined and formerly active, now come and say people guess to much here and those people who judge, I feel are slipping into Post-Tribulationalism

I hear that McChristian and that is a valid concern, RITAN is pretty good at weeding out those types and we definately have to watch out for those kind since they give us all a bad rep - much love! ;)

If we are still here, then we continue to be about the Lord's business--evangelizing, witnessing, trying to be a light to the world. We do this every day, regardless, but with the hope in the back of our minds that today might be the day that He calls for us.

I'm never bothered much by dates that come and go, because that is not my focus. Yes, I want Him to come, but I know it will happen at the right time. I'll keep working for Him and watching the leaves on the trees (prophecy, Israel).

I,too,am looking towards Feast of Trumpets(Sept.17-18)-I even booked the days off from work!

 Yet my excitement for those particular days isn't close to the anticipation of last year,somehow.

  I like what many of you said here about taking it one day at a time,enjoying our new life in the Lord!

Waiting and watching may sometimes feel like we do not know what we are going to get on any particular day. However, all of our days living, either here or there, are so very sweet and delicious!

Let us us all thank God today that we have been born in the only generation, ever, that has the chance of never dying. There have, of course, been many billions of people who were born, lived and died here on earth as time passed for the thousands of years man has been here. None of them, even Jesus Himself, was spared the experience of death.

We select another chocolate from the box each day and wonder if this will be the ultimate one with the cherry and syrup inside that will fill our mouth with the joy of eternity. Do not despair, be comforted by His holy Word and promises. The existence of the state of Israel after centuries of non-existence in the diaspora, and after centuries of persons filled with evil spirits trying to destroy the Jewish people, they are back, back again in the land that God promised Abraham, through Isaac.

Please be reminded, dear frustrated and impatient saints of the Most High God, to know you are special and a brief wait of a few days or weeks or months or years, if so be, mean little as we approach the end of this blessed age of grace and justification by faith. Our glorification lies ahead. If that thought does not make a warm smile come to your face, then I do not know what can.

We have already eaten the chocolates called redemption, justification and are expecting the cherry-filled climax of our special lives, the chocolate called glorification never to end as the sweet chocolate melts so slowly in our mouths. Alet us in the meantime, savor the chocolates of,sanctification, helping others and praying each day to be delivered from evil oppression as we occupy until He returns.

May our dear Father and His Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit fills you this day and every day until we ascend to meet Jesus in the air, with the enjoyment and privilege of that He is on His way. Enjoy each day, fill,it with thoughts of appreciation and hope, not annoyance that you are still here. You are all so very special. Never forget that.

Someone mentioned holding fast until the end of this age........my mined jumped to the big hype of the end of the age in the mayan calendar and then it went to the "end of the church age"....cool

Not setting a date AT ALL but wow......would be cool if  it was a symultanius end of an age. 

Maybe hidden in plain site..........just a thought.

We may not be there just yet, but this is MOST DEFINITELY the season!!

Oh I used to get so cranky when a date passed and I would have to muster up a whole new batch of patience. I think I truly made the Lord chuckle the way we see a toddler try to climb on to a chair or couch... As I mature as a Christian and as a watcher, my main focus has been on worship. I think that my most treasured gift from the Lord is my love of worship. He called me to be His through song and when I began to learn what worship really is, it has gotten me through many times of frustration and heart break. So, this gift of worshipping His presence in my life has gotten me through this whole last year and the watch days that used to leave me filling empty like a kid who got socks when he wanted a stereo for Christmas.
I went to the beach today with my favorite people in the whole world; my sister, brother, and three nephews. We played in the water and sat on the sand . The breeze was flowing and the water was crashing like music to my ears. I sat and worshipped the Lord for this beautiful day with the people I loved in His presence of beautiful creation. If California is anything, it's beautiful. If the wicked can enjoy it, then so can I while I wait patiently for His promise to take us home... Even so, come Lord Jesus!

My spirit knows you are right. It's my flesh that wants to upgrade ASAP.

I love the box of candy illustration, Robert.  What happens when the box runs out?  Hopefully more will appear to replace the ones taken like on the Tree Of Life.  Maybe we should focus on the fruit filled centered ones--the cherry- filled sound like a good find.

Better yet let the fruit itself show up.  Now that would be a Sign!

with all that i can say

of the 48 years of my life 24 were in SEVERE  abuse

but i thank God for the beauty he gives from the Ashes of my life ...

it has made me a stronger person

so i think this will be the easy part

WE just have to Wait ... till Jesus Comes ;)

and ill take that any day

We must also think of those in prison suffering for Jesus Every day

they wait too some are tortured every day in prisons for even saying the word JESUS ..

the ones that are fleeing to Turkey last count i heard was 170,000

refugees !

we may be looking for the Return of Jesus and frustrated that we have not heard the sound of the trumpet yet ..

but God knows when the LAST person is to make that decision

THEN HE SHUTS THE DOOR of the ARK

and WE will GO home

his Grace is Sufficient ...

He does not want one person on this Earth to go to hell

He is a patient God

there are still Prodigals that need to come home

We may say " come quickly Lord Jesus " but if you have family that are not saved you would not say come quickly but say " wait a little longer Jesus so my child will be with me in Heaven some day , wait a little longer Jesus my spouse i love dont know you , wait a little longer Jesus my neighbor i have been praying for dont know you .

I try to think like How Jeus would think .. i know our ways are not HIS ways or our thought HIS thoughts

but those are HIS children on the Earth

i can amagine how heartwrenching it is for a Father to watch the rebellion of his children , the blood shed the hatred

and i wonder just wonder if the raindrops that fall are really HIS tears

We need to remember HIS time is NOT our TIME a thousand years is only a day to HIM  

so i say wait a little longer Jesus .. for my daughter who is the prodigal that has ran from God and i pray she runs to the Ark of safety before the doors shut ..

thats my baby my only child i have i have no grandbabies :(

i want her to be with Me when He comes
