Does anyone else get fed up with the people who say there is no support in the scripture for a pre-tribulation rapture? I have seen people taking this view on other forums, and they view all of us as a pack of nutjobs. There is a ton of support for the pre-trib, and in all honesty, it's the only scenario that makes sense according to the scripture. What bible are these people reading that makes them believe the church will have to endure the tribulation? Perhaps that's the problem, they are simply not reading it.
For the antichrist to be revealed, and for the tribulation to begin, the restrainer must be removed from the world. We know the restrainer to be the Holy Spirit. Since the Holy Spirit dwells within each of us when we become a born again Christian, God can't pull the Holy Spirit from the world unless we are going with it. So with that being said, how can these people believe there won't be a pre-trib rapture? The only way that would be possible is if the Holy Spirit stays during the tribulation, or it is pulled from all of us when it's lifted out of here. As pre-tribbers, we know that neither of those scenarios can happen. The Holy Spirit must be removed, and we in turn must be removed with it before the tribulation begins.
When people view me as a whack job for simply reading the bible, and interpreting it correctly, it gets me frustrated. I had to vent here as I won't continue to argue with some of these fools on the other forums. Jesus had far more patience than me. Many of these people who doubt the pre-trib, or even a rapture at all don't seem to be saved in many cases. If that's the case, they are in for a double shock when they not only miss the rapture, but have to endure the tribulation.
