Guys in the bible it talks about how we shall be like angels at resurrection and how we shall have the SAME BODY as Christ. WOWWWWW. i dunno bout u but im reallly excited because if you look in the bible, Angels are extremely powerful beings. they can cause blindness,muteness, fly , two angels destroyed Sodom and gomorrah , and just one angel destroyed an entire army. i am really excited because it is a desire of mine to have great supernatural power and use it how God commands me to.

Guys how powerful do u think our glorified bodies will be and do u fink we will be able to do what Jesus and angels can do if we are going to be like them.

Well, from what we can see of Jesus after His resurrection, we know we will be able to:

Simply appear -- Christ was suddenly among them in the Upper Room despite the locked door.

Eat -- Christ dined with them.

Fly -- He ascended, so I'm sure we'll be able to do the same.

He could conceal His identity - the guys on the road to Emmaus didn't know they were talking to Christ until He revealed Himself.

He could walk through walls, but clearly had flesh, as Thomas physically touched His wounds.

We'll be able to go between earth and Heaven.

We'll be able to see Christ as He really is without dying.

We'll be shining with God's glory!

If we'll be like angels, then we might be able to be present without mortals knowing.

We'll have the full authority of Jesus.  I believe whatever we say will happen in Jesus' name will come to pass.  As mortals, we try to weild our authority, but sometimes it doesn't happen because we don't have full faith.  As glorified Christians, I believe we WILL have that full faith and confidence and Christ will work through us.

We will be married to Christ.  Therefore, we'll have one jealous Husband!  If anyone comes against us, WATCH OUT!!  The Son of the Living God will come to our rescue, I believe in PERSON!

Interesting dream you had, Lyndon!  Like you, I've wondered about what it would be like to have our new heavenly bodies.  I think Becka covered all the points very well.  How exciting never to have to go on a bus, car, train, or plane again!  We'll be able to "pop over the pond" with no problem! 

I cannot wait to get my glorified body.  There is no scripture in the bible to support that female people will be turned into Males.  When the bible talks about us becoming the sons of god, it talks about us receiving the inheritance of Jesus Christ and as an adopted  people.  But there is no scripture saying there are no female angels,  this is a presumption and a guess and is not supported by the bible.
