For some who are still tied into the world and its ways, whether it be a little, or alot, it can seem hopeless when faced with trials and tribulations in this life.

But when we truly "let go", and "let God", we will see miracles happen. Why? Not because we are spiritually special. Not because we are deserving. But because God is IAM.  IAM Faithful. The promises of the Written Word of God are unbreakable by God, because He does not lie, He is truth. He does not neglect, He is faithful.

I have learned to rest in His Hands. Think about it. His Hands created all of creation. They keep all of creation together. They knit each of us together.  He knows us better than we know ourselves. Who better than our God in Heaven, to hold us in His faithful Hands.  He will not let you fall when you are truly in that place in Him.

The point of this thread is this: share how God miraculously intervened in your life when from a natural stand point there seemed to be no hope remaining except for God to act.  In doing so, let us encourage one another with our testimony that shows how mighty and awesome and faithful and loving our God is! In doing so, we bring praise to our wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Amen!

Feel free to share your favorite Bible verse(s) that you stand on that God has faithfully kept.

One more thought: Have you really stopped to think about how infinitely powerful the very name of Jesus really is?  The name by which demons flee, the lame walk, the blind see, the dead rise.  I would go so far as to say that His name, Jesus, encompasses every promise of the written Word, just by virtue that He is the Word of God. How mind stretching is that? So when you pray, and say "In Jesus name" try to fully realize just how powerful His living and omnipotent  name is and believe in Him and His promises, because He is God, He is faithful and good.

So, I will start with a couple of miracles in the last 2 years:

1. My wife, 17 year old daughter, and I were going to lose our home due to job loss, foreclosure, bankruptcy. Our income was from my wife earning a mere $150/biweekly after taxes. Not enough to move out and pay rent, utilities, food, gasoline, car insurance, medicine. So, with my wife and daughter, we sat at the dinner table and asked the Lord to prepare the heart of someone who owned 2 homes, but could not live in one and keep it up, wanting someone to move in and take care of it for them. We asked for a 3 bd/2bth/2car gar home that was newer and clean. We Thanked the Lord for doing it, believing in faith that it was done and trusting Him. Several months went by, and with more financial setbacks, we were forced to be moving out of our foreclosed within 30 day. I cried out to the Lord and asked Him where we would go, and the next day, a former employee of mine contacted my wife, not realizing the full extent of our situation, and said that we could move into her newer 3bd/2bth/2car gar home, all utilities paid, all furnishings provided, for as long as we needed it!  Wow. That was this past February. God gave the paid utilities and furnishings extra. I did not pray for that.  Thank you Lord!!!!!

2) Prior to the above, my wife and I went to Walmart to get some groceries because we were out of food.  That day and the day before, we recieved 3 gifts of cash: $180,$60, $90 = $330. All of that money was in my wallet entering Walmart. We went through the checkout, paid $80 for our purchase, and went to the car. There, by habit, I opened by wallet and recounted my money: there was $340 in it! God's math is so amazing!  $330-$80=$340.

“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,”    Ephesians 3:20

That is my sharing. I have soooo much more. But I am writing a novel here, lol.

I had many anecdotes like that. There was this one time when I thought I really didn't have any money left and the paycheck was three days away. So I silently asked God to help me out and then I searched in one of my pants' pockets and there's a crisp, 100-Peso bill. lol! It's awesome how God answers prayers and displays His humor at the same time.

But the biggest miracle is my life. If God wasn't in my life, I'd be lost and become a trainwreck, unable to control my emotions and bipolar tendencies. God calms me down whenever I feel the impulse to respond to my emotions. All praises to Him!

I have many, but I will try to keep it short and just share one.

When I was 12, I was spending the night at my best friend's house.  I spent the night there ALL the time...every weekend, most Summer nights, etc.  She only lived 2 doors down from me. 

It was October, and her parents had gone out to a local coffee shop a few miles away for pie with their friends late at night.  It was something they did often.  There were 5 children in the house, ranging in age from 9-14....my friend, me, her 2 younger sisters, and their cousin.  We all fell asleep in the living room watching TV - my friend and her sisters and cousin on a pull out couch/bed, and me on one of those old "countour chair lounge" things.

I woke up to a man trying to violently assault me.  There was a knife...I know in my heart that he intended to do what he came there to do, and then hurt me badly when he was done.

Miraculously...the phone rang just as the assault began...it was my friend's mom... and my friend's little sister, only 9 at the time, despite the horrible scene just 2 feet away from her, went straight to the phone (she had to walk directly beside my attacker, just inches from him, to do so - VERY brave!), and said very clearly to her mother that somebody was trying to kill me.  Her choice of words startled the attacker enough that I was able to grab a sheet to wrap around myself and run out of the front door screaming.  He ran out of the house, I ran home, the police were called, etc.

I always knew that God saved my life that night.  My friend's mom never called from the coffee shop to check on us kids at night...*never*.  I have no doubt that God spoke to her heart that night and alerted her to call right at that precise moment (remember, back then she actually had to get change, find a pay phone, etc. - no cell phones)  And my friend's little sister was actually developmentally delayed...the small bus picked her up in the mornings, she was in special ed. classes at school, etc...she was *not* the child you would *ever* expect to be able to do what she did.  It was as though God acted and spoke *through* her that night.

I think that if God had not miraculously intervened on my behalf, that I would have died that night.

In high school I was in the common area and forgot to remove the pocket knife I had in a sheath, on my belt from the weekend. Running late the next day I threw on my pants and went to school.  I had no idea that I had it on me. My shirt tucked in, it was visible to everyone.

I was playing my guitar during a free period and was tapped on the shoulder by a security person. I was asked to follow him.  Not knowing why, we went to the principal’s office who then asked me about it. I was shocked because I had no idea or intention that I had a knife on me at school. She explained that they had no tolerance for “weapons” at school and as a result, I was expelled. I thought this the worst thing and was crushed.

Not two months later a couple of other young men brought guns and bombs and killed many. I feel I would have been one of them if not for the great wisdom of our Lord who is my shield and protector.

I accepted the Lord at the age of 7, with some struggles until I fully committed to Him at the age of 24.  So I have been serving Him most of my life and learned so much, experienced a-l-o-t, and have many, many stories.  The one that I feel prompted to share is three years ago I went through the whole physical, financial, emotional, career, relationships, and whatever could happen...meltdown.  It turned out to be the turning point of my life.  I had fear as a child since I had grown up in an alcoholic environment.  While in this state of complete meltdown I prayed that God would take me to the place where fear entered my life.  He took me to the exact time, place, and I experienced the same emotions as the 9 year old girl on that given day.  I was able to face that fear with God's help and then get completely delivered of it.  New waves of joy entered my life and I no longer deal with a low-grade despondency feeling.  A great sense of peace and love entered my life and it hasn't left me!

Bluebadal:  I'm sorry you think things have gotten a little weird around here.  It is a very open place to share so that does "open" the door to some diverse thoughts...but I feel it is a very blessed place to fellowship with a very loving, caring spirit.  Sometimes I take breaks, especially when I am very busy.  I do thank God we have a wonderful place to share our thoughts and insights.  Some people think I am weird...but I am alright with that.

We need a miracle…

WOW.  Isn't it great to read other's testimonies?  It just blesses your own faith in God, and just how Good He Is.

I am not one moved to tears easily, but reading through these I found myself wiping my eyes in over whelming joy at the goodness of our God!!

"Chrondram"....sounds like you and your wife are in need of God's intervention within your life?  Anything specific your brothers and sisters here on RITA can agree in prayer with you about before our Lord's throne?

Wow, been sitting here for awhile reading through all these testimony's of God's miraculous power and i'm in awe!!  Not shocked though, because He has also grace me with several incidents that i can honestly say, with all my heart, was His hand working on my behalf.

I'll give one for now though :p  

It was seven years ago, my oldest son was working at a local pharmacy and it just happened to be across the street from where we lived.  My phone had went bad and i was needing to make a call and also, i needed to pick up a few things...so i decided to just drive across the street and borrow his phone and do my errand.  It was beginning to look like rain out, the clouds was starting to get very dark, so i decided to just drive instead of walk across the road.  Plus, it was a busy road and i wouldn't chance it by walking...mainly because he had a dog a year before that had been struck by a car, so that was another reason i just decided to play it safe.

So i drove across the road and parked my explorer and went in.  I borrowed his phone and had decided to run back out to my car and make the call.  Luckily, just in time because the storm had blown in and the rain started to come down in buckets.  Luckily, i had an umbrella in the car, so after i made the call...i jumped out of the car and instantly the wind blew very hard and bent the umbrella to where it was sticking straight up in the air and not sheltering me from the rain.

However, i had to stop and look both ways before continuing in the front door of the pharmacy because it was known that cars would come around the side part of the store's parking lot.  As i looked and proceeded to cross that small area...a car came around that corner real fast and hit me. 

I remember it was all like slow motion!!  At first, i just felt this hard thump against my right leg, almost like a baseball bat hitting my flesh real hard....however, there was NO pain as all this was happening...it was as if my body was being divinely guided... then I found myself bouncing off the windshield of the car and my neck snapped slightly...again, no pain.  I then slid down off the front of the car and onto the pavement.  I was sitting up and my face was staring right into the front of the grill of that car.  

Now the force of the car hitting me that hard to knock me up onto the windshield was so powerful and i'm about 5'8 and not a danty little lady.  So when i found myself staring into the grill of that car, all i could think about was "How did this car come to a stop without me hearing it squeal?....and how did it stop to where it didn't continue to run over me after i slid off of it?

Well the lady that was driving it jumped out and asked me if i was okay, but she was freaking out more than i was and i found myself trying to "calm" her down! *lol*  She kept saying how sorry she was and i found this calmness rise up inside of me as i continued to reassure her.  Someone ran inside and told my son that his Mom had just been run over in the parking lot...well you can only imagine his reaction and later i learned that he had knocked over several displays running out of there.

I wanted them to help me up on my feet and they was wanting to call the ambulance, but i was trying to calm everyone there on the scene down as i found myself unable to stand and then realized, my leg was definitely broken.  Not to mention, that little snap in my neck that i felt, had dislocated several cervical disc's, but my neck was not broken! PRAISE JESUS!  However, i do have a metal plate in my neck now and after going through spine surgery, i suffer a tremendous amount of pain at times still from it all....BUT....

I KNOW beyond a doubt that there was no way that car could of come to a stop without sliding on that wet road and i also know that there was angels there stopping that car and keeping it from running over me and killing me!!  No doubt whatsoever!

Ended up being taken by ambulance to the hospital, indeed...my leg was broken, but no bone penetrated the flesh and i didn't need an actual cast...just a long leg brace that i had to wear 24/7 for 3 months....which is another miracle in my opinion.  The force of that car hitting my leg should of caused alot more damage and even the Dr in the ER said that i was very "lucky" to be alive.  I replied and said "No, i'm very BLESSED to be alive" :)

That's not the only time that satan has tried taking my life, but my Jesus is greater and He has kept me! 

Even though we cannot see our guardian angels, they are indeed very very close and work on our behalf more than you realize!
