Ethiopia is about 64% Christian and 34% muslim. Keeping in mind Jack Kelley's recent theory that perhaps the unifying approach to the one world religion would be the worship of the queen of heaven, or someone who claims to be mary, I find the new leader of Ethiopia to be an interesting choice.

Haile Mariam's name is in Geez, Ethiopia's Orthodox Church liturgical language, and means "the power of St Mary". His official name of address is Haile Mariam, the second name being his father's name. The name of his father, Dessalegn, is Amharic for "I am happy".

I grew up catholic and remember being instructed to say many hail mary's as penance for my reported sins. Think how awkward it would be to pray that prayer next to this gentleman. Everytime you start he'd say Yes? What? Are you talking to me? And what are the odds that an end time biblical country would have a leader named for the main prayer to the queen of heaven? Really. You couldn't make this stuff up.

Hey NCS329! Your right! I also have seen shows on the S--Fi and history channel that talk about the ark of the covenant maybe housed in a coptic church in Ethiopia!

Some think that this is a replica that King Solomon had made to cause the Babylons to go after this relic instead of the real one; kinda like a decoy!! The jewish priests most likely hid the real ark close to the temple mount or even under it or that this ark in Ethiopia may be the real ark or visa versa!!

I just wish the Ethiopian chuch leaders would allow some archeologists inside that church so they can document it and show the whole world the truth about this artifact!!
