"GOD raised us up with CHRIST and seated us with HIM in the heavenly realms in CHRIST JESUS , in order that in the coming ages He might show the "incomparable riches of his Grace" , expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus . "

In John 1:16 ....assuring us

"From the fullness of His Grace we have all received one blessing after another! "

Nahum 1:7 ....how sweet this promise !

"The LORD is GOOD , a refuge in times of trouble.

He cares for those who trust in HIM . "

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” — John 11:25-26

Bonnie,

I love the idea that there were no chairs in the Tabernacle or the Temple, because the work had not been finished. Yet, when Jesus, our High Priest, ascended He sat down. It is finished!

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6

Likewise, if we are seated in Christ then our position in Him is settled. Our work in this life continues; our salvation is done, however.

Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. Hebrews 10:12

Preach it Sis! I do love the Spirit in you. Indeed as Donna points out so wonderfully well, every "Word" from the Lord, written or spoken, is filled and accomplished by His glorious power! The Lord is good, blessed be the name of the Lord!

On a side note: given that we shall all be seeing each other soon, I do have a perplexing dilemna. Who shall I hug first? Jesus of course, then who??? I'm so confused!
