Let me be clear however, even if Maurice Sklar missed the mark on his prophecy, I think if this great man of God, Billy Graham passes it will be a "super-sign" of sorts to us watchers- because we are THAT close!

This is something I've noticed in a LOT of  pretrib  videos on youtube :

Many of them anticipate national Sunday law, or state that the mark of the beast is worshipping On sunday, and that only sabbath- keepers  will be "good enough" to be raptured.  Acts  20:7 , plus other verses  make it clear that  believers also met on the first day of the week, and it wasn't an  issue. If it wasn't an issue for the early church, why now? 

    I have nothing but respect for Messianic Christians, I think their attention to the Torah  adds a much deeper meaning and understanding to the Bible,  and I can't get enoguh of that.   However, it seems that good chunk of the Bible prophecy information out there is  from the Seventh Day Adventist churches and groups that split off from them. No offense, but I have some big scriptural concerns where  Ellen G White is involved. 

     I've known a lot of people  that have lived in terror of missing the rapture because they weren't  good enough. It seems like that these groups use Matthew  7: 21-23 into terrifying  believers into accepting all the  rules of their particular sect. It leads to someone  trying  to be good enough in their own stregnth, which is nothing but frustration because on our own, it's never good enough.

I have always felt that although he is a modern Paul, unlike Paul, Billy would still be alive for the rapture.  And at his age, anything could be life threahening.  As stated either way is a win/win situation, as is the case with all humans within the "last" generation.  While some wait for Arial Sharon to "die", I look towards what the Lord will do with Billy.

"Lukewarm" does NOT mean backslidden Christians!  If you're a backslidden Christian, you STILL have the Holy Spirit within you.  HE is what makes you "hot", not the measure of your walk with the Lord.

HOT = Christian

COLD = Athiest

LUKEWARM = Undecided (unsaved)

Only those who are "hot" with the light of life (Holy Spirit) will be in Heaven.  Those who are undecided will be rejected, even if they thought they were in good with God, because they are not indwelt with the Holy Spirit.  These are likely the "good people" who never accepted Christ.

Again, a backslidden Christian is STILL a Christian!  They are STILL hot, because it is not the quality of our walk that makes us "hot", but Yeshua Himself, Amen?  Likewise it is not our works that saves us but Yeshua alone.  We have no righteousness apart from the righteousness in Yeshua.

Therefore, our God is a consuming flame, He baptises us with fire, and it is His Shekinah Glory that makes one "hot" before His Throne.  We have no holiness, no righteousness, no...heat apart from Him.

God does not use this hot/cold reference like a child would on the playground, but rather, whether or not you have the Life of the Most High burning inside of you.  Even backsliders have this Life if we are to believe it is by grace through faith we are saved and not by works lest anyone should boast.

The father NEVER disowned his prodigal son, even if the son thought he had.  When he returned home with his tail between his legs, thinking it was better to be a servant than nothing at all, the father welcomed him with a feast and rejoicing.  Despite his carousing, he had kept his esteemed position as son in the house of his father.

That was sooooooooooo well said sis.  Its ALL about Him.  The legalist just don't get it.

Evangelist Billy Graham returned to his home in Montreat, Tuesday following a two-day stay at Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C . Mr. Graham was admitted to the hospital early Sunday morning and was treated for bronchitis.

“Mr. Graham had a quick recovery and responded very well to his treatment,” said Daniel Fertel, MD, Mission Hospital pulmonologist. “Catching these types of pulmonary infections early is crucial for a fast recovery, as was the case for Mr. Graham. Despite this illness he remains remarkably healthy for a 93-year-old man.”

Becka, that deserves a big AMEN!!!  I've heard so many "preachers" use that to scare the beejeebies out of people and misinterpret it to fit their message!  Of course, they will have to give an account for that, but thank you for making it clear as day!
