this happens to me sometimes ....the thought of hell and it being forever , no reprieve , gets to me on certain days .

I talked this over with The Lord again and this rang in my spirit : God knows best !The Lord is always fair !  His decisions come from a perfect place .

I know this about The Lord . HE GIVES EVERY PERSON A FAIR CHANCE , in fact He gives every person more than the number of fair chances they deserve .

If Jesus had a middle name it would be MERCY .

Lord thank you for your assurrance in all things .

 This is the prayer I pray most "Wake them up before it is too late , Lord !" I know you do that too , Sis !

 being merciful to the end ,  He has warned with every possible warning one can use : weather ,storms ,tornadoes  volcanoes, terrorist  events , crime increasing , earthquakes, false christs , bad government , wars , mass death of earth's creatures ,  and CONVICTION .

Thank you Bonnie.    I know the bible says the Lord will have mercy upon whom he will have mercy.  Romans 9:15.  That's that.  I don't think we will realize the extent of it all until we one day see Him face to face.  1 Corinthians 2:9.  I know that all of my family, extended family and friends will be with me forever because our Lord is faithful!  There is nothing more powerful than the power of the almighty!  He says if you ask anything in His name and believe it in your heart that He will do it.  John 14:14.  I believe Him and I know He has never failed me and never will.  You don't have to think about h---!  Our Lord has already conquered the grave!  Thank you for posting this.  It's great to be reminded of the Lord's mercy.  God bless you!

My thought is that since hell was originally created for the devil and the fallen angels, the only people who will join them in hell for all eternity are those who in their hearts are no different than the devil himself.  Their hearts are completely and forever hardened to the love of God.  Jesus could be standing right in front of them, and they would still reject Him, sadly.  Thank you Jesus, that You KNOW who will become your child, and who never will.  There will not be anyone regretting their choice in hell.  If any remorse or regret had been found in them, the Lord would have made sure they were safe in His hand before they died.  This makes sense to me, knowing that God desires that no man should perish, and that He is loving and just.

Whenever I hear atheists being angry (at the God they claim doesn't exist), I make sure they understand that God doesn't send people to hell, they send themselves, when they reject His free gift of pardon for their sins, through the blood of His Son Jesus at Calvary.

Hebrews 1:14 says "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?"

I believe angels not only protect believers, they protect those who the Lord knows will become believers.  However, this is NO excuse to put off giving one's life to the Lord!  Jesus is not just "fire insurance", He is the very essence of the Christian's life.  Apart from Him, we can do NOTHING of any importance in the Lord's eyes.  Will your life as a Christian be easier?  That's not a promise...  But will you have love, peace, joy, no longer be a slave to sin, have assurance of salvation, and be contributing to God's Kingdom?  YES! 

How anyone could ultimately reject all things loving, perfect and good I will never understand...  I have shed many tears over this...  I just take comfort in knowing that all who seek the truth will find...  Some may be deceived for a time, but they will only continue to do so, if it is by choice.  I always pray that the Lord pour out His Holy Spirit and open their eyes, and soften their hearts, and I trust that His Will be done, and I know His Will is perfect.  Thank you Jesus for your mercy!
 

Yes, Bonnie, I think of that very same thing sometimes, and it does bother me.  After reading Bill Wiese's book "23 Minutes in Hell", I could see what horror he went through in the 23 minutes he was there.  But to endure that for eternity?  I can't tell you how many times that I have wished in my heart that those who are in hell would have an end to their suffering eventually.  But since our soul and spirit are eternal, so is the destination of man, whether it is heaven or hell.  Very sobering thought. 

But God is just.  He gives everyone every chance in the world to accept Him. It's man who rejects Him, and there is a penalty for that.  He is not willing for any to perish, but to all to come to repentance.  I would imagine, knowing the nature of God, that it breaks His heart to allow those to reject Him to go to hell for eternity.  But He is also a God of justice, He is holy, and there is a penalty for sin.

I thnk about that, too, Lisa ~~   the Lord agonizes over souls despising  His Love, His Beauty, His Majesty ~~~ why do souls spurn the Light of Life?    Still, the Father beckons souls to love His Son, inviting mankind to be a part of  the Family of God   ~~  His Love proves every day how Sacrifical and Giving our God is ~~ Grace, amazing Grace and the Way true and Holy is  still offered to every soul on earth..  

God will have sons and daughters held in the arms of the Eternal Father ~Mighty is God to keep every promise!
