I'm combining two posts into one to save on  space and after I get finished here I will cut more Rita Now coupons out of the flat screen  and see if I can redeem them at the front library desk!

I have been back from my cut short vacation for a complete day now and I have to say I did not enjoy my trip at all-it was my fault though-I decided to end it after the first day!

For some reason I just got tired of wanting to enjoy my free time on the road! I guess I am burning out on  time for self  even now!

I went on the road across Kansas because I needed to get away but I decided after the first night once I stopped at my first destination in some historic town that I was tired of enjoying my free time!

I knew that if I continued across the state on my little pathetic journey that I would be spending more money on gas and food and a place to stay in a hotel overnight again and again; and after all that when I got back home after my trip I would be punishing myself for having to tighten back down on my spending budgit that is bring me nothing but angst and extra discipline with this bankrupt economy!

So I said fooey on this-I had enough fun for now-not really-I said this in gest! So I did what the ban O.A.R. sang which was---I Turned This Car Around-it's a great sounding song for anyone interested!

I knew this trip was on the wrong leg when the first night at this historic town hotel I was settling in for the night and the couple sharing the dual small house unit with mine complained that the water was turned off; and the man went to the hotel owner and wanted to know what was going on with the water supply!

We later found out all the hotel house units were without water and that some water main break must have been the cause of it! This water problem lasted all night until the morning when the water pipes finally started to produce that rusty colored H2O!!

I myself did not need much water since I used the facilites at a resterant earlier that evening-but I was able to take a hot shower in the morning once the water started flowing again!

Lisa I think you can relate to the water problem that this hotel was experiencing-but your problem was more severe and it took a plumber to rectify!

That first evening at the hotel I went out after dark and picked a place that overlooked the horizon and while I was talking to the Lord and thinking about things going on in my life I was noticing a group of  bright stars that were in a perfect triangle shape just about 33 degrees above the horizon!

This set of three stars was not familiar to me and I had seen them there the night before at home! All I know is that they are somewhere between the scorpion constellation and the big dipper star group!

If anyone could tell me what I was seeing was a common star pattern that would be awesome but I have never seen this trianle pattern in the sky before and in that location-it really looks out of the ordinary!

I know they are most likely stars but what constellation is in that section of the sky which they could be joined to! It's like there are no other stars to this triangle shaped pattern!

So now that I ended my small vacation trip real suddenly and decided to come back home and leave all the fun and frowlic to the tumbleweeds and scopions; I just came to the conclusion that I don't need any trip or vacation to make me happy or to have fun-I can enjoy myself with just  seeking the Lord at night in the comfort of my own bedroom!

Although I did turn my CD player on and did blast the radio up to some great sounds of the 60's with the one and only Paul Revere and the Raiders-I hear you got yourself a brand new baby-don't tell me maybe--If it's sooooooo, I got to Know-Oh------What's it goona beee eee---Him or Meeeeeeee!!!

I really love that song-it just sends me back into a time machine to those summer days at a time when I was young and had my days free to play and enjoy my friends and go to the park or build a fort in the field across the street!

I really don't care if I find fun or entertainment here on earth anymore!  I know that when Christ returns that is when we will find our permanent rest when we are finally released from this sicko planet that tries every fiber of our faith!

God the Father knew what He was doing when He had to come up with a place that would put our faith to the ultimate test-Wham-o   Zamo---Then there was earth!

Because earth is made up of fallen humans with zoombie eyes and sinsick brains-it makes for the right ingrediants to cause everything negative in us to come to the surface so that it can be eleminated!

If this world was made up of people that acted like gelitin molds there would not be much to put our faith to the test!!!

Oh before I go I have a cow joke!!

About 5 am look towards the East and see Jupiter above the Moon and Venus below it. When I saw them this morning I knew there's no way they're lined up like that accidently, it's a huge sign, but when?

everything that is not somehow invoved with spreading the kingdom is just tiring.

yet whenever i do God's work i have plenty of energy.

 Praying for and with suffering people, and being among fellow believers interests me more than any holiday today.  am trying to persuade husband to visit an amish community on our last family week-end break before big girl leaves for a year. 

i actually dont like staying in luxury hotels anymore, i prefer a simple room in a retreat house or something.  none of the glitz and glkamour appeals, neither does self-gratification. 'girly week-ends' as they are known here.   i would rather stay in a tent than the vatican. i guess i prefer Jesus' way, sandals and real simple living.he never went on holidays a such.  he used every day to save people. and restore those who were crying out .   reaching out beats pampering every time. though i do know we need to rest often in the Lord too ! 

Hi Scott!  My husband and I saw the triangle about a week ago. It's definately something new!  We look at the sky every single night and have never seen anything like it.  I found a very interesting article that I will post below that we thought was a little strange.  Let me know what you think.  It's also very interesting that they are calling the Spica star a binary star because that is also what they call Niburu, Planet X and all the other names they have for the "hush, hush" planet.  Something has to be causing this strange and record breaking weather!

Hi again, I forgot to add. I'm feeling it to Scott, the fleeting joys of this world seem to be fading more and more each day. Not that I'm not thankful as I'm sure we all are. Though our  hearts cry, Come Lord Jesus Come.

I just returned from a week long vacation myself.  It was a perfect vacation because it was camping in Montana, in the fresh air by a small mountain lake, in the middle of God's beautiful creation! No hotels or restaurants out there!  I was surrounded by 19 other family members.  One night as we sat around the campfire, time seemed to stand still as I watched and listened to my family members talk and laugh.  I was so full of thankfulness that 18 out of twenty of my family members know the Savior.  I will be with them in heaven, listening to them talk and laugh just like they were around the campfire, and I will never have to cut the trip short and say good-bye.  God is so good.

So when we are in heaven, Scott, you just come right on over and join in our campfire circle!  With your heart and sense of humor, you will fit right in with my family!  That is one vacation that we will never cut short!  God bless you, brother.
