R2F, some days are harder than others, aren't they? I know I feel much the same way on some days, and I plead with the Lord to come and stop the suffering. But I know when I feel that way, I concentrate on this verse:
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. Philippians 4:8
I try to remember the truly lovely blessings of Christ in my life and think on those things. I think of what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable and praiseworthy and there is only one answer ~ Christ. When I begin to praise Him, everything negative flees!
Easier said than done, I know, but that is why we are given rewards for our faith. And don't worry about where to send money. Send as the Spirit leads. There are so many causes out there and I fear it will only get worse as the economy falls apart.
