The SHOUT, The VOICE, & The TRUMPET 1Thes. 4:16,17
The SHOUT
Jesus is our Good Shepherd, His sheep KNOW His voice and follow Him. The shepherd of the Eastern world always move their flock to new feeding ground by calling them, then walking ahead of them and they follow. In the Western world the shepherd DRIVES the flock from the rear. He does not talk TO them but instead yells AT them.
I think the SHOUT is the Lord Jesus calling us by name. I don't know if that is our current birth-given name or if it is a NEW name He has given us. Whichever it is, we will recognize His voice and our hearts will leap within us as our eyes will search the heavens for his appearance.
The VOICE
My best guess is that this VOICE of the archangel is the announcement "THE BRIDEGROOM COMETH" . Since we will already be looking for Him, this announcement will heighten our anticipation to level TEN as the adrenalin of our earthly bodies surges to its zenith.
