Heavenly Father, we come together before You on behalf of our sister to lift her up in prayer, knowing that You are a healer and thanking You in advance for what You will do...please touch and heal her mind and body in the mighty matchless Name of Jesus...what You can do...no other power can do...may the peace of God which passes all under-standing guard her heart and mind through Christ Jesus...You are our peace and we worship You...there's healing in the Name of JESUS... there's healing in the precious shed blood of Jesus and we plead the blood of Jesus over our sister from the top of her head down through to the soles of her feet...Lord, please encamp angels round about our sister to guard and protect her because she fears Your Name...by Your stripes she is healed and please grant her perfect peace...we thank You and have the faith to believe that it's done...

Dear Tami,
Thanks for the update. Glad your home and pray your daughter will soon be over the flu. Thankful to our heavenly Father that your ulcer condition was diagnosed and is now in the process of being treated. That was an unexpected curve-ball!
I join with Folvier's beautiful prayer above that is such a good way to open this Part Two of your thread. Tami, we are all still praying for your complete healing, and only for surgery if all else fails. The healing that will soon take place for the ulcer is a step in the direction of healing. You have suffered enough for a while, in my opinion.
Let's remember, dearest Tami, that we need not fear anything for He is with us and greater is He that is in us than he that
is in the world. (1 John 4:4)"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed, for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10)
"And the peace of God, which passeth understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Phil. 4:7)
Please dear Father in heaven reach down and heal Tami now and let her be free of the pain and suffering she is in. We thank You for hearing and honoring our prayers in Jesus' name.
With love,
Robert B

Tami,
WAs so glad to see an update. I pray that treating the ulcers will help you feel much better. Praying for the wisdom of all the doctors that are looking over your records.
Glad your daughter has you back home to take care of her, and I am sure you are happy you can be there for her. I peray that by the time you read this, she is well again.
Remember, God is with you, God is Guiding you, God is helping you.

I love all you my friends. How you all brighten my day so very much I just can't even begin to say! My daughter is feeling much better and we have been enjoying a lot of time of together watching movies and catching up on our favorite shows. Today we were cleaning her room and organizing it. Felt wonderful to do something so simple together.
My pain and nausea from the ulcers is gone today. Thank God for that! No pancreas pain until I tried a low fat potato chip... almost within seconds I had light pain. I guess that is a no no for me. I hope to stay well as we have a family reunion out of town this weekend and I don't want to miss spending the time with my family.
I'm really trying to stay focussed and not thinking of much else other than healing my body. Right now making supper and listening to some inspirational podcasts. How I missed listening to them when I was gone. I know I'm going to be healed whether it be before surgery or during surgery but I can feel it. God is so very good and wonderful and I can't wait to live my life out fully without pain or worry.
Tami :)

Some of the low fat chips are made with Olestra, a completely indigestible fat. Often causes gastric upset. At least they reformulated it so it stays semisolid (think crisco) at body temperature. The initial formula was liquid at body temperature which made passing gas an absolute no-no. You need better quality nutrition anyways.
Great. Now I want potato chips. I'm glad you're feeling better, other than chip-wise.
For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Gal 3:27Posted 11 months ago # -
Dear Tami,
I'm so happy for you that you're feeling better, along with your daughter. Since you've been home, you seem much more uplifted and it's so wonderful that you're able to fix dinner and help your daughter clean her room and watch movies together. That's great!
I also like your postive spirit that you are going to be healed. I love it!
Thank you for the update, dear sister. Stay away from those low-fat chips!
Continuing to pray for your total and complete healing.

Dear Tami,
It was so good to hear of your healing from the ulcer pain and how you are now able to do everyday ordinary things with your kids and prepare meals and listen to music. Thank God, Tami, He is truly wonderful and loving towards us all.
Please continue keeping us updated on your progress. We will keep you in our prayers for as long as it takes. As Lisaleenie once said on this thread, I'm in it for the long haul.
Until we hear again, God bles you and keep you well and in His supportive arms. We love you.
With love,
Robert

You're in our hearts, and in our prayers, dear sister.
Much love to you!

Dear Lisaleenie,
After reading your last message posted just three minutes after my effort to bring this thread up to the current moment, BTTT I think means bump to the top, I felt moved to write a few words to you to remind you that we all appreciate your work here and enjoy knowing you as we do.
At my last place of work, the manager was interested in building the organization's cohesiveness and team spirit. He instituted a special agenda item at the end of each week's meeting to review progress on projects. That agenda item was called Acknowledgements.
Each person volunteered to provide a few words of appreciation and acknowledgement for work done well, or speedily or beyond expectations by another member of the group. It was a simple thing to do and provided an opportunity to express in a few words how we felt about our co-workers. It was usually positive and uplifting--I never witnessed anything negative.
As a kind of example of how acknowledgements can be used, I will try in this message to do one for Lisaleenie. I would be very gratified if this message were to give others some related ideas on how saying a few kind words, sincerely and from the heart, can be useful to everyone.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Lisaleenie, you are an angel! Your prayers and words of support and encouragement to Tami throughout her long process of finding healing has been an inspiration to me and I am sure to others.
If I were in the sort of pain that we have witnessed here from the messages from our dear friend Tami, I would be so very blessed, as she indeed has been and continues to be, to have you as a dedicated, loyal, loving and praying friend of God interceding. You are such a dear and wonderful person!
I can only speak for myself when I say I love you so much for your tender, caring and compassionate heart as you have written over these weeks to help Tami.
With love and hugs, your friend in Christ,
Robert

I'm still thinking of you and praying for you as well. Missed this post the other day about you feeling better, but i am so happy for you. You said upbeat and like you not only believe your healing is coming, but you are receiving what is on the way. Good days without anxiety, pain and loss of energy are coming your way! stay on God's faith track and don't let the devil pull you off. Thank you Jesus that you are still on the throne and in control.

Oh, Robert, I just saw your post and your kind words to me right now because after I posted my last message to Tami my computer crashed, and I decided just to go back to sleep!
I just want to say how much your words meant to me. Thank you so much! You make me feel very loved and special, and I can't tell you how much I need that right now in my life. Tears are in my eyes right now.
I love you too, dear brother. Your compassion and love for the Lord and for others just shines through your posts. It has touched my heart how you have reached out to Tami and have been right there supporting her all along yourself.
Much love and hugs to you, Robert!

You are all so very kind and wonderful!! I love the support on this board and am so thankful to have found it!! You have all be so very kind and wonderful, supportive and full of love and wisdom that has helped me so very much!!
I had a very rough night reading up on the surgery and all the pain afterwards. It caused an anxiety attack and a very restless night of sleeping. I am still very stressed today and feel awful. I'm very scared of the surgery, or maybe I should say terrified. Scared of the surgery and pain, the healing, what will happen, being away from my family, the financial burden. Its all hitting me very hard at this moment.
We are supposed to be leaving for a family reunion this afternoon and I'm not packed and just feeling sick to my stomach. The fear is getting to me. I know God will take care of me and it will go as it should once I'm there but right now is very hard. I've had some rough last couple of days with some pain also and not much of an appetite anymore. I know I need to gain weight if anything. Oh the burden just feels so very heavy on me.
I have my little nephew here now and needing me so much go. Much love to you all.
Tami
Posted 11 months ago # -
Enjoy that reunion. Be single focused on that alone today. Push all other thoughts away. Concentrate on a diet that you can handle and from there just enjoy the family and the day. A little R&R is good for the soul.
I'm so glad the ulcer healing is being realized. Praise God!

@Victory Chanter: Your message to Tami is excellent! She needs to practice being focused on what really matters.
@Tami: Listen to VC and Lisaleenie. Their words carry a lot of meaning and wisdom as far as I can see. I love them both!
@Lisaleenie: Thanks for the acknowledgement. My words about you are stated with the utmost sincerity and honesty. God bless you and I am so glad my words helped you in some way.
With love,
Robert
Posted 11 months ago # -
Dear Robert, yes I could feel the love, honesty, and sincerity of your words. That's why it touched my heart so much. Thank you again, dear brother!
Dear Tami, please do not focus on the surgery. You will scare yourself if you do that. We are the most influenced by what we focus on, so place your focus on the Lord, and His healing power. That is how you're going to get through this, dear sister.
I pray so much that you enjoy your family reunion. I don't have my earthly family left, so I know how precious they are. You are blessed and loved by many, especialy the Lord. I will pray that you will be pain free, nausea free, and mostly free of the fear that you are experiencing. I want to see you have a great time today, Tami. I am going to pray for that, also. May the Lord's peace rest upon you, sis.
Love and hugs to you!

It's hard to beat the serenity prayer for an approach to stressful situations. Except rather than accept the things you cannot change, make it give to Him the things you cannot change. I guess it wasn't that hard to beat it. Ah well.
If it is something you have control over, exercise that control as God gives you the wisdom to do. If it is something beyond your control, give it to God and let Him carry the load. Remember that the Israeli's used yokes of oxen to do work, two oxen to a single yoke. And the Lord promised that His yoke is light, His burden is easy. That's because He does the Lion's share of the work (pun intended) and we just have to walk beside Him and not fight Him. Rest easy in Him. You are being upheld in our prayers, and the Holy Spirit is continuously interceding for you as well. The Lord has paid the price for your salvation and your healing and is coming soon. Be at peace and enjoy His provisions in your life.

Dear Tami,
I just finished praying for you again this morning. How are you doing, dear sister? We haven't heard from you for awhile.
Please let us know how it's going with you.
Much love to you!

Hi Lisa and thank you so much for your prayers!! I'm not feeling very well and actually going back to bed shortly. We had my husband's family reunion this weekend so were gone for three days. It went good until yesterday morning. The pain and nausea hit me and it was a long 6 hour drive home. But finally made it to my bed.
Not sure what flared it up but I'm feeling very miserable and totally exhausted. All weekend was having lots of anxiety. I can't get the surgery off my mind. It's constantly there.
I need to go lay down but wanted to let you know how I am. Been thinking of all of you. Prayers back to all of you!!!!
Tami
Posted 11 months ago # -
Thank you for the update, Tami. One of my prayers was that you would feel good during the family reunion. Don't be discouraged. A six hour drive is a long time, and you probably did a lot during the reunion, so I'm not surprized that you're not feeling great. You rest now. I will continue to pray for you. You'll feel better after you rest up.
Please try your best to focus on the Lord and His healing power instead of the surgery and the recovery afterwards. It's been my experience that if I look too far ahead instead of concentrating on just one day at a time, I get anxiety myself. Like I said before, we are the most influenced by what we focus on, so if you focus on the Lord, I believe your anxiety will dissipate quite a bit.

Dear Tami,
I pray for your healing each day. I so much want you to be well again. Please be good to yourself and rest and focus your at tension on what you can do something about, and leave the rest to the Lord. He has been helping you right along and ais so very deserving of our praise and thanksgiving.
Focus, as Lisa said, is important. Read her message again and remember to focus your attention on what you can do something about, not on what the Lord will do to amaze you -- He always like to surprise us with His love and special ways. All praises, glory and honor to our dear and gracious Creat or now and forever.
With love each minute and each step on the road to healing,

Hi Tami,
I'll be praying for you tonight. I wanted to encourage you to hang on to hope because Jesus may return very soon. He may come for us before your surgery!
Also, I wanted to remind you that you don't have to do anything to obtain God's favor or healing, Just believe that He can heal you, He can get you through and He has forgiven you by the blood of His son. It is all up to Him. I know that it is human nature for us to try to figure out what we might do or say or think differently so that we may secure God's blessings. We all do this from time to time. There are even books written by folks who have no understanding, that would instruct us on how to "release" God's power in your life, etc, etc, etc.
How about we just trust God to take care of you? We will keep praying for you. And you just focus on letting go of everything that you just have no control over. You can trust these things to God. Pray that he will remove worry from your mind and replace it with peace. I will be asking him for this for you. And pain relief and healing.
Tami, may God bless you and your family greatly. My heart goes out to you. I am still trusting God for your healing!

I'm hurting today. Having a different kind of sharp, stabbing pain in my lower groin. Hoping the pain pill kicks in soon as its very uncomfortable. They are calling me Friday to discuss my results and plan of treatment.
Too uncomfortable to type more.

Biker Blue, I just had a "thunk". You can make your own chips from sweet potatoes that are very yummy. Just slice them thinly and roast in the oven until they are dried out, then sprinkle with a little salt (I brush them with a little olive oil too, but that might not work for you). You can do this with beets too.
For an extreemly uplifting post, be sure to read todays "My 8 year old son's vision". Praying for your full return to health.

Dear Father, please help Tami right now. I pray that You remove her pain and whatever is causing it. I ask for total and complete healing of her pancreas. I ask that You wrap Your arms around her and let her feel Your love and compassion for her. I ask that You take away her fear and anxiety and give her Your perfect peace. I ask that You give her doctors wisdom and guidance as to the treatment for her. Please help her not to worry and place all the trust in You. I ask all of this in Jesus Name. Amen.

Dear Tami,
I prayed for you sing the words written above by Lisaleenie. Thank you Lisa for giving us all such wonderful words to pray. I would only add a few words of thanksgiving at the end for His hearing and caring about us and for te greatest gift He offers to us, His love.
Dear heavenly Father, accept our prayers for dear Tami and know that we appreciate Your love and compassion. We know that pain and suffering have always been part of human life and that they can often serve as tools to purify us and make us draw nigh to Thee. You do chasten those You love at times and we do expect You to provide guidance, especially when we are wandering into the ways of the world and its evil rulers. Help us in those times to endure and benefit from it all.
Give us the strength to stand strongly for You and to seek only to do Your will. Forgive us for our ignorance and forgetting sometimes at te lateness of the hour we are now living, at the very end of Your incredibly loving and merciful age of Grace. Help us to see You in everyone and everything we see in this world, regardless of the present conditions that surround these people and things that You and You alone have created for Your pleasure and our enjoyment, too.
Please help Tami to be free of any more pain and suffering, for truly she has had enough for anyone to endure. Please have mercy on her and heal as only You can and did so wonderfully through Your Son, Jesus, in His time with us in Galilee and elsewhere. We love You and want to love You more every day that remains. Thank You again, dear Father. We pray in the name of Jesus.
Amen
With love,
Robert

Lord, I ask that you relieve Tami's pain and give her peace and not fear. I also loved LisaLeenie's prayer and I also ask that you give Tami's doctors the wisdom to know what to do.
Lord, if I could have my choice, I would ask that you come for us today! But I know that you do know best, so please help Tami as she awaits your rapture, as we all await it. It is hard to know that she is suffering and that she needs healing so desparately. Let this time of trouble pass swiftly and bring comfort and help for Tami until we are with you.
In Jesus name, Amen.

Dear Tami,
How are you, dear sister? We haven't heard from you since you said that you were feeling so poorly three days ago.
Dear Father, I continue to pray for Tami. I ask that You completely heal her pancreas. I ask that You remove her pain, her nausea, and give her the energy to do the things she would love to do. I ask that You take away her anxiety and fear, and that You will give her Your perfect peace. I ask that Your give her doctors wisdom as to her treatment. I pray that You bless her, and take care of her, Lord. I ask that You give strength and comfort to her children and her family as they are going through this with her. I ask all of this in Jesus Name. Amen.
Tami, please let us know how you're doing.
Love and hugs, dear sister!

May God continue to bless you and be with you in your time of trial.

I pray that you are on the mend and that you are hopeful and not discouraged. This will certainly end in your favor, remember that if you can. It will be so beautiful there in heaven with Jesus! Oh I hope that He comes for us very soon!

Hi everyone! I apologize for not posting for a while. Feeling rough and I guess you could say needed some time to myself. It was a very big week for me. I talked to my doctor on Friday and went over my results and will be scheduled for surgery soon. I'm excited, nervous, scared all at once. It's such a big life changing surgery and will take some time to heal but having God on my side I know it will go well. I know He lead me to Arizona, to all of you. Thus still scary. I told the doctor I want to do the surgery ASAP as I have been having a lot of anxiety and just want to get it over with. I'm praying that I will hear this week when the surgery will be.
I feel confident in my decision to have the surgery as I'm not leading the life God wants me to be living at this point. I know will be a tough recovery but God will take care of me. Knowing that my parents, husband and kids will be coming down to stay with me off and on the time I am there will get me through it. Without having them there it would be tough and Id be so homesick so it will make it much easier on me.
I will try and post more. Bless you all for your continued prayers! I love you all and am so thankful for all of you. I need to rest tonight and hoping tomorrow will feel better!!
God bless!
Tami

Dear Tami, I'm so glad to hear from you. You sound a lot stronger and more positive. Looks like you needed this time for yourself, and it seemed to help you.
I'm glad to hear that your family are going to be there with you and that you're not going through this alone. Praise God for your family who loves and supports you.
You're going to be just fine. Just keep your focus on Jesus and His healing power.
Our love and prayers are with you. Keep us posted when you can. We'll be with you throughout this trial that you're going through. You're not alone.

Dear Tami,
Your need for time by yourself is perfectly understood. But remember to include the Lord in those times, for He is always there with you and will not leave you, no matter what.
I am praying for you and know everything will come out right for you. Get one rest. Stay focused on God and His love for you that will provide the healing you need. The surgery is probably His idea, so don't be concerned at all about your recovery process.
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee."

Tami,
I felt an urge to send you this link to info on DMG which I am using and think it can help you too. Humor me and have a peek. If you want to try the tablets, see the link on that page for FoodScience of Vermont the best source.
http://www.dmgdoctor.com/dmg.phpPosted 11 months ago #1 vote of thanks [Lisaleenie] -
Dear Robert,
I just checked out that link, and the benefits of using DMG is amazing! I'm going to check further into it. I know Tami could really benefit from those tablets as well. Do you take them yourself? Are there any side effects?
Still praying for you, Tami.
Posted 11 months ago # -
@Lisaleenie
BTW what is Lisaleenie? Why not just Lisa?
In answer to your question, yes I am taking the DMG tablets and there are absolutely no side effects, since in reality they are simply providing chemicals that the body manufactures every day--only less as aging takes its toll. I have tried the swallow tablets and the chewable tablets. The chewable taste like Vitamin C tablets.
I have noticed a marked improvement in my energy level and ability to focus for a prolonged time. Since I am being treated for hypertension, they help with that condition as well. The long-term benefits for warding off Alzheimer's dementia (which my wife succumbed to in 2010) and cancer make these tablets an incredible insurance policy for health.
We need to do whatever we can to help our physical bodies stay in good repair. The cost of these completely safe tablets is a small price to pay for peace of mind, or as much as we can get from science.
With love,
Robert

Thank you so much, Robert, for that link and also for the information. Very helpful. I'm going to check further into this. I know some people, including myself, who could benefit from it as well. Do they sell it at health food stores?
Oh, and Lisa alone is just fine. Leenie is my nickname, so I just combined the two names.
Much love to you!

@Lisa,
In the book Building Wellness With DMG the author strongly urges the reader to use only the original formulation that he knows about personally, available from FoodScience of Vermont.

The above link has a menu and the DMG Family of Products has those original products.

@Lisaleenie,
A good low-cost supplier of DMG products from FoodScience that I use is VitaCost. Their price is $15 instead of $30 for a box of the tablets.
The following link shows the ordering info from the VitaCost web site.
http://www.vitacost.com/productResults.aspx?ss=1&x=0&y=0&ntk=products&Ntt=DMG
The references show that this product has been the subject of research and clinical trials for 25 years here and abroad.
I think you will find it to be an effective natural supplement to help your overall health.

Robert

Hi everyone. I'm hanging in. Still struggling with some pain and feeling crappy today. Didn't sleep much last night and haven't been much the last few nights. Just not feeling the best. Still no date for surgery yet. I've emailed a few times with no answer... I just want to get it over with. Tonight I'm stressing out. I keep requestioning things. The waiting is hard.
Thank you for the link Robert. I did check it out and it looks really interesting to say the least. I just may have to purchase some. I hope they are working well for you!!!!
I did call a gal last night who had the surgery in Arizona four months ago. It gave me more anxiety than anything the struggle she is still going through. I'm very scared. I'm scared of the surgery, the recovery, being away from home and family. I just feel like I'm stuck right now and not happy about feeling this way. Maybe I just need a good night of sleep I dont know.
I pray all of you are doing well. I think of you all the time... I'm just so stressed right now. Please God help me through this. Take away my fear and bring me a peace that I know I am doing the right thing and that it will be okay.
God bless you all!
Tami

Tami, I do feel for you, I really do. It's extremely hard to think clearly when you're not feeling well physically and full of stress and fear emotionally. I'm sure you talked to that woman who had that surgery in the hope that she would give you some encouragement and tell you that it's not as bad as you envisioned, but instead she confirms your worst fears.
That's why, at the risk of repeating myself, to encourage you to focus on the Lord and His healing power. Your emotions are affected greatly on what you focus on. And just remember, I doubt very much if this woman you talked to had a team of prayer warriers like you do who pray for you night and day. She may not be a Christian, or have the same access to the power of God that you have, or even have the family support that you do. That's why it's not a good idea to ask others about their experiences, because everyone's situation is different.
For this reason, I implore you not to read up on the after effects of your surgery, or ask other people of their expereinces, because you are scaring yourself more, and that's the last thing that you need. Please focus on the Lord and His healing power. Believe me, I do understand being affected by fear and worry. That's why I am telling you what I am because it is very important to muster all the faith you have in the Lord and His power. Rebuke the spirit of fear, because the devil is tormenting you with that, too.
I'm praying for you, Tami. Please try not to panic. Many times the things we worry about so much does not come to pass. And we realize that we have wasted so much time and much needed energy that we could have spend praying and worshipping the Lord. Trust me, I speak from personal experience.
Much love to you, Tami.

Dear Tami,
I agree with what Lisaleenie said regarding worry. It is your biggest obstacle right now. Someone said once that we worry about many things that never happen, and don't worry about the things that happen.
It may not be long before this world and its worries pass away, if Jesus returns for His Bride soon. There are so many signs that He is close to returning. I hope so.
Until then, we are all praying for you and your well-being and healing, before surgery if possible. Of course, all things are possible with God.

They really help me a lot. I also take CoQ10 caps as they help eliminate the loss caused by statins. I suffer aching and some pain together with no energy when I try a day not taking same.
