Should we still be putting our hopes into "high watch" dates??? Or just trust God for the His timing??? Will we receive a word from the Lord, or just be gloriously surprised??? What's next, and how long will the Lord tarry???

The eclipse was a bit of a "was that it?" moment, but considering that it's not a "special" date otherwise, no big deal.

Pentecost is another matter and seems like a good time for the Almighty One to stir up some excitement. On the other hand, I have friends who have been certain it's going to be one of the Feasts of Trumpets for the classic reasons.

My current expectation is perhaps prior to this Pentecost, perhaps on it, or perhaps this fall. But I became overtly excited last Feast of Trumpets because of the apparent fulfillment of the Rev 12 sign in the heavens. If we are still here past this next Feast of Trumpets, I will be wondering what's up with giving a sign that comes and goes with nothing happening and will focus more on prophetic fulfillments in the middle east.

I trust that God will fulfill His Word at the optimal time, but if we get through each and everyone of the Divine Appointment dates without the rapture, then I will be wondering if somehow the seemingly perfect fit, never to be repeated Rev 12 sign was really a sign from Him at all. So far everything seems to fit together except for our second guessing God's timing. Which so far seems about as easy as picking the winning lottery numbers.

It does remind me of the joke "How do you make God laugh? Tell Him your plans." I feel like we've been asking Him "what's in the big box under the tree?" and He keeps saying, I told you - it's a surprise.

but just so it's said, a lot of people also can get so wrapped up in trying to figure out when He will return that they neglect the other areas of their lives where they are called to do His work: to be lights in the world, make disciples, stand for justice, tend to the poor, etc. or they forget to be mindful to not be stumbling blocks to other believers (and non-believers), or fight over disputable things.

so i think it's important that we both make sure we're found doing the work when He does arrive, understanding the signs given that He is near, but also understanding that there's a reason He hasn't told us when He's coming and that He warned us to be wary of false signs, prophets and Christs and not to follow after them.

so i encourage us all to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves, trusting in the Lord that He's doing His part, and let's do ours.

Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. -Eph. 5:16-17

I will say that my wife is looking forward to Pentecost. I told her I would shave my beard the day after. (I'd rather be raptured with my beard on. If it's good enough for Yeshua....)

I think just be prepared and always be in relationship to Yahshua in every aspect of our life as if today is the time.

Now I am not putting again my watch based on dates but on my harmony relationship with my Lord Yahshua, Our Lord, everyday, day anytime He comes, I'm ready, any minutes, I'm ready and till He comes literally, I will occupy , share the message, so more people will be saved ....
