University of Tennessee Knoxville Stands Up For Prayer

I just read an article that made me want to jump and shout! The University of Tennessee Knoxville was sent a cease and desist letter by the Freedom From Religion Foundation to stop prayer before their games. Unlike others who have given into the FFRF's demands, the University refused!

The FFRF has been responsible for so many schools cancelling prayer and responsible for having crosses removed from property. No group should be able to stop anyone from praying or from displaying crosses, much less such a small group. I was shocked to find out that they only have 18,500 members. That's it.

I live in Knoxville (about 2 miles from UT) and although I don't follow football, I'm proud of the University's stand! God bless them!

There are so many others that should just simply say, NO! Prayer is an inalienable right of every individual. God's existence isn't the point here but rather that by nature "inalienable" rights supercede all other political laws, agenda's and individual government mandates! These rights would be present even if they were not bestowed by our Creator God, for they speak to the universality of the sacred human condition.
