PLEASE use discernment when you listen to Pastor Begley. He is suggesting that the 7 year tribulation has already started and in fact the middle of the tribulation was on Jan 20th 2009, the day BO was inaugurated as president. And then he somehow suggest that because of the 1335 day time line in Daniel matches the period between 2009 and Rosh HaShannah this year that then means the Lord is coming back for the bride of Christ at that time.
THIS IS WAY OFF BASE WITH THE TRUTH
Just because it is 1335 days from Jan 20th 2009 till RH on Sept. 16th 2012 (has anyone actually checked to see if that is correct?) certainly does not mean that the rapture is therefore on RH this year.
Now don't get me wrong, I firmly believe that RH this year may well be the time of the rapture, but, not because of a 1335 day time time that started on Jan 20th 2009.
The fact is that the 1335 day count in Daniel is a count that starts at the middle of the 7 year Tribulation period when the A/C declares himself god in the Jewish temple in Jerusalem. Since there is no temple in Jerusalem today, i don't remember BO declaring himself god there at any time 3 1/2 years ago, do you???
Lets use some common sense folks.

I agree with you regarding using discernment on his vids. I've often wonder where he stands on the rapture etc and some of his vids cause me to scratch my head and go "hmmm".

I agree with Tom, Pastor Begley can get very much "over the top" with his ideas. His enthusiam for subjects on end time prophecy can become a little wonky on the facts. Just because something is in the news, does not make it fact. As always, I would use discernment and always have a measure of salt readily available.
Having said that, he does clearly have a love for end times news and events. That I do admire about him.

It's significance is not. Is kinda interesting, tho. I'm afraid I don't listen to Paul. Too noisy. Too much time. I like headlines and links better than videos any day. Except for Pastor JD's stuff.

I love Paul Begley! I don't agree with his take on the rapture though. Paul Begley is basing his post-trib view on a dream he had in 1994. Other than that, I love him because I know he means well. He's also brought a lot of people to know Jesus and for that I am very thankful. I think there are a lot of parallels in the bible but a lot of Paul's videos point to the fulfillment of prophesy rather than a parallel. Many of them could even be the enemy trying to confuse the church. Obviously he's doing a great job of that (the enemy- that is).

He does mean well and I admire him for that, bear in mind we are not discussing a salvation issue so if he is not of the same view regards rapture timing all that means is that he will be a lot more surprised than us pre trib's when Christ returns...LOL
Shows that we need to be very discerning and cautious when trying to link any dream to divine presentations or listening to any prophecy....always search the scriptures and,... test the spirits.
If the tribulation began as he thinks in Jan 2009 he does not have a handle on what horrors the tribulation brings upon this earth, besides we know the anti christ will not be revealed untill the church is taken.

It may well be that Paul Begley defends post tribulation rapture, but I think that it is quite interesting that it is exactly 1290 days from 20 January 2009 to August 2, 2012 and 1335 days from 20 January 2009 to September 16, 2012 (Rosh Hashana). The Bible is well known for repetition of numbers, numbers that are of great importance. The calculation is correct. It may not be coincidental that these two numbers 1290 and 1335 suddenly reappears. And in Daniel 12:11-13 "And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waithed, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days". Could it be that just as the Christians in the tribulation is blessed with the second coming of Christ after 1335 days, so will we be blessed on Rosh Hashana with the rapture?
