I wanted to watch this video again. As most of you are aware, I am obsessed with this feast....

With the current events in Israel, it makes a bit more sense with today's headlines than when I first watched it. I hope so! Pentecost is too far away.....Any thoughts on the video??? I think there are clues in the Book of Esther.

1993 & TN Dove: We seem to like the same subjects. We have Biblical obsessions in comon.

Esther is another from the Old Testament times I want to meet and talk with over dinner. I will probably have to "take a number" on that dinner date. Some parts of the palace that she lived in are still to be seen. To look at what she looked at (I strongly remember seeing carvings at the tops of pillars for instance) just blows my mind.

Well, Caleb, there could be worse things to obsess about....I think we want to secretly be dectectives and dig up some jewels! We will probably have to take a number to talk to Esther, but eternity is a long time! I only have a few weeks before I have to work seven days a week and can't check out this or other websites so I am soaking it all in now in hopes of something happening soon!

1993 Watcher: I'm doing the exact same thing, I'm in college and in a few weeks I will be far enough into the semester with test and papers/essays that I will have little time for sleep, let alone this sight. I do enjoy and thank you for all of the information that you and TX Thom and TN Dove supply. Maybe just maybe we will not be here for the long hours ahead.

I am trying to remember where I saw pictures of the palace at Susa, I think it was a history textbook from school. Nope, found it, it is in the "Archaelogical Study Bible"Zondervan, there are pictures of a golden bowl from the time of Xerxes 1 (Esther's King) and the very top of wooden pillars that have kneeling horned bulls holding up the roof supports, Ester could have seen either the bowl or the carved wooden bull - roof supports. Awesome!

I'll look it up and see if I can find a picture online Caleb, thanks! I love to look at ancient history! I wish I could go to Israel. Now may not be a good time.....

Thinking of the months ahead makes me tired so I truly hope that it is February or March that we get to leave....I will need an extra boost of stregth if we have to go into May or Pentecost....whew...Come quickly Lord Jesus!

NOTICE that the Jews of Shushan "ASSEMBLED together" for the 2 days of Adar 13 & 14th, and RESTED on the 15th, the 3rd day! This assembling is what the trump of God is for. And then the LAST trump is for the journeying of the camp! And it is this 3rd day, the 15th that Esther/ the Church/ believers went to the King and His throne upon the instigation or compelling of Mordecai/ Christ! For these "trumps/ trumpets of God, see:
