One of my brothers is a believer but he has a problem with pornography. I had to face him on this issues on few occasions but I felt bad about it each time. On May 7th, when he came over to my place, he sincerely said that he is not watching it anymore. He admits that temptation still comes around but he was able to overcome it.
(Because of the urgency in my spirit, I've been praying for my family members ferverntly that they will be sealed by the Holy Spirit and found spotless and worthy when Jesus returns. I'm like many of you that don't get dreams much and I don't recall receiving an acutal Bible verse as the answer to my prayer with a specific dream.)
On the very next morning, I woke up with a dream that I saw ALL my family members including the brother in heaven with the most beautiful and colorful clothes on!!! Praise God!!!
Not only that....as I was coming out of that dream/vision, a Bible verse was given. It was mentioned twice or three times (He knows that I'm very forgetful). I wondered though whether "Isaiah 51:14" really existed when I woke up. When I turned to the chapter 51...verse 14 was there!!! As you could imagine, I burst into tears. I was so thankful that it wasn't a coincidence or imagination!
Isaiah 51:14 says "The cowering prisoners will soon be set free; they will not die in their dungeon, nor will they lack bread." Actual commentary says;
"The gospel proclaims liberty to those bound with fears. Let those weary and heavy laden under the burden of sin, find relief in Christ, shake themselves from the dust of their doubts and fears, and loose themselves from those bands.
The price paid by the Redeemer for our salvation, was not silver or gold, or corruptible things, but his own precious blood. Considering the freeness of this salvation, and how hurtful to temporal comfort sins are, we shall more value the redemption which is in Christ. Do we seek victory over every sin, recollecting that the glory of God requires holiness in every follower of Christ? The good news is, that the Lord Jesus reigns. Christ himself brought these tidings first. His ministers proclaim these good tidings: keeping themselves clean from the pollutions of the world, they are beautiful to those to whom they are sent.
Zion's watchmen could scarcely discern any thing of God's favour through the dark cloud of their afflictions; but now the cloud is scattered, they shall plainly see the performance. Zion's waste places shall then rejoice; all the world will have the benefit. This is applied to our salvation by Christ. Babylon is no place for Israelites. And it is a call to all in the bondage of sin and Satan, to use the liberty Christ has proclaimed. They were to go with diligent haste, not to lose time nor linger; but they were not to go with distrustful haste. Those in the way of duty, are under God's special protection; and he that believes this, will not hasten for fear." (from Christnote.com. I kept this dream to myself until today when I felt urgency to share here.
There is a wall frame which facy my bed with Isaiah 41:10 on it. It reads, " So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand". Try to hear what the Holy Spirit speaks to your heart...
Love you brothers and sisters & Maranatha~
