I have no idea what will be on mine, but I cannot wait to receive it!  I love that it's personal to each of us, like a pet-name or a nick-name.  I often wonder if Christ will call us this personal name when we are alone.

I imagine it will be different than Abram to Abraham or Saul to Paul.  I imagine it will either be regarding our personalities specifically, or His specific feelings toward us.  Such as things like "My Dreamer" or "Loving Heart", things like that. 

I'm not talking about names like the Native Americans, but rather, a name that just embodies YOU and/or HIS specific thoughts/feelings for you.  But I think the names will have a certain special-ness as well.  Unlike earth, where there's a million Bob's and Ann's, I think our names on our white stones will be unique to each believer.

Ok I must have watched too much Phinas and Ferb with my sons lately because the first thought that popped in my head was I hope my name ends with an "anator"

TR, perhaps!  This could be a general new name, as He might not always call Himself "Yeshua", however, it could be a personal name we get to call Him by.

Each time i read this scripture, it so warms my heart.  To know the our Lord will give us a name that is so personal just for Him to use.  Sometime's i wonder if we could even survive if He revealed the completeness of His love for us....i don't think we would.

perhaps as He altered Abram's name to Abraham adding the hebrew letter "Hay" from His name YHVH, maybe He will figure out a way to add a part of His Name to each of our names marking us as His own?

Okay, if I put the "Hay" like in Abraham, my name is Paham. If I put the "Hay" at the end, then my name is Pamah. How in the world did Adam make up all those names for every single animal, anyway--when I can't even come up with one decent name for myself?!!

I also have wondered, too, of why Jesus is putting our special name on a white stone. I'm sure it's symbolic for something. Maybe it is to remind us of the stone that was rolled away when he defeated the grave? Or maybe it's symbolic of Jesus being our cornerstone of the church, and how His righteousness (color white) is also given to us? Just some more thoughts...

Hey, the Bridegroom is expected to give his bride a nice rock,  isn't He?  Don't the ladies usually want one that's unique and individual? 

Now everyone can say, "He went to Calvary!" instead of a diamond merchant.

Scripture says it's a name known only to the one who receives it (and the Lord of course).  I'm not so sure it will be a mundane name like "Beautiful Soul" or some such.  Maybe it's literally a specific WORD created by God, that no one else knows, in the Heavenly language that perfectly describes YOU and only YOU.

Regardless, it is another way for Yeshua to show us how personal His love is for us.  I had a very emotional prayer time today.  I got a bit of a glimpse into how much He loves me.  It was...overwhelming.  I began crying and I didn't even know why...  I think it was the Spirit ministering to me.  But it was a beautiful time with the Lord.

I have no IDEA how there are no tears in Heaven.  :P  I sob back, forth, and sideways down here!
