I have long maintained that the greater glory of the Rapture is that we shall finally and forever be in the arms of our Creator, Saviour and the Lover of our souls.
And no matter how much I try to love Him, it is not nearly enough.
But in speaking of Pentecost/Easter/April and 2017, I must confess that some of my first thoughts lingered through the litany of the curse. My heart leaped in the knowledge that our suffering may soon end.
I expect that the sooner we get and if we do indeed get a “high sign”, my thoughts will no longer look backward to six thousand years of a cursed existence. But will indeed again look forward to our new position in Christ! Seeing only unspeakable joy before us!!!
Even so Lord, be glorified and receive us unto Yourself!!

Hey TR. As I thought about the rapture and your post, the thought came to my mind that, at least in some ways, we as believers want the same thing people who do not yet know the Lord want, peace and safety. Now, we know what is going to happen to the world, even as they say, “Peace and safety.” Still, we want peace with our God, peace with our bothers and sisters, and peace within ourselves. We want the safety and security of knowing we are loved, cared for, and protected by our Father. It seems to me that many in the world want these things too. They just do not know where to find it, or more precisely, in Whom to find it. Many will be willing to believe a lie in pursuit of it, not realizing that they will forfeit forever the opportunity to find it by seeking it from sources other than the One God-ordained source, Yeshua.
I do not think we can begin to fathom even remotely what it will be likely to be changed and in His presence forever. Far too wonderful for my little finite mind to grasp. No more fear. No more sinful flesh to wrestle with daily. No more feelings of inadequacy or worthlessness after lost battles against sin because our very being will be consumed by His worthiness and completely delivered from our sin nature. No more living in Romans 7, where I do the things I do not want to do and don’t do things that I desire in my spirit to do. O wretched man, who will set me free from this body of death. To be free to unreservedly love God, love others, and serve Him with the gifts He has given us, all from a place of love, joy and peace knowing we are loved and accepted, with absolutely no fear of failing. Preoccupied with the glory and majesty of His presence. Worshiping, singing, and making melody in our hearts, even as we delight to serve our King. Watching for You, Yeshua, praying, and longing for Your presence tonight. Maranatha!!!
John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."March 18, 2017 at 6:50 am #129549
I so look forward to the Rapture, for this world we live in isn’t the type of world God intended us to live in with it’s suffering, pain, sorrow, and death. Living in a world of so many sinful, evil people.
I will be so glad to finally hear the shout, and trumpet blasts, of God calling us out of this world.March 18, 2017 at 9:05 am #129550
The rapture . . I pray it daily ~ ~
it means a most glorious transcending moment~
Christ’s Powerful call for His own has been promised! Hallelujah!
and all the fallen angels MUST step aside and watch the great transcending ~ every cell in our body changed instantly made ready for Heaven! . . ~ ~ Praise God for this promise, this Truth! ~ ~ we shall EVER be in the FULL Presence of our exalted Lord we adore, actually sharing in His resurrected body and be known as He is known!
“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
oh, what POWER ~ ~ Our Lord’s very shout to ‘come forth’ shall make complete His Bride resurrected fit for a Heavenly King ~~ our God’s shout to resurrect His own will shake the cosmos ~~ for He is the Word and when He speaks, there is creation in His voice.March 18, 2017 at 1:19 pm #129555

When we all get to heaven
What a day of rejoicing that will be
When we all see Jesus
We’ll sing and shout the victory

Amen! The greatest thing is that we will see our Lord in His glory. I believe in our new bodies we will be filled with the tangible love of God for all eternity. The tangible manifestation of being one with God forever! Just imagine that being filled with God’s love forever!
Isn’t that what men ultimately is looking for? Being of one heart with someone? Maybe its the reason why God values faith so much.
And without faith it is impossible to please God…
Jesus in His high priestly prayer, last words to His disciples talk about this. And I used to wonder why being one is so important.
John 17: 20-23
My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
1 John 4:17
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
But this is what men have been looking for, love, to be of one heart and that is probably why faith is part of it. Looking to Jesus, knowing that He first love us, at our worst, believers all over the world have one heart in Christ! Husband and wife have one heart, children and parents have one heart in Christ!
Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26 I have made you[e] known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.
Even as we see the day approaching, let us continue to feed on His love for us! And continue to enjoy communion with Him even when we cannot see Him physically. God Bless!
