Tom, it was the Roman under general Titus who led the charge against Judea during the Roman-Jewish war between 66 and 70 AD. Having said this,Daniel 9:26 points us to a leader who shall rise from Rome. But you are also correct that he is not necessarily from Rome. Take Pope Francis for example, His headquarter is Rome. But he is born in Argentina. Ethnic speaking he is an Argentinian. But theoretically he is from Rome because Rome is his power base. I am not surprised to see his next successor shall be from Africa.

My interest in Jerads background has more to do with whether he could possibly be one of the remnant supernaturally protected by God after the AOD.

What I’m not sure of is if you have to have Jewish blood line to be protected or if being from 10 lost tribes of Israel also protected? Is belief in Jesus Messiah before the flight required?

His peace talks could lead to rebuilding of the Temple. Jerad is not saved yet, still following Judaism. His father is into real estate.

Time will tell. And we may not be here to know God willing.

Prophecy is going to be fulfilled no matter who’s in the White House. I will agree that a corrupted church will be included in the harlot riding the beast.

I agree with this statement 100%…

I spent about three weeks one time not long ago working up what I thought was, “The True Church” Those who are Truly Born again Christians, Saved by Faith along and nothing else.. It made the hair stand up on my arms. But no one really knows the Hearts of People who say they are Christians, just going thru the Motions. CINO’s as one post has it. Children are exempt because of the age of accountability. There are about 7 Billion People on earth, only about 10% of those who Profess to be a Christian would be saved. In my guesstimation. Pew Poll has the numbers at 2.2 Billion who say they are Christians. 10% world wide is not a whole lot. Once you add By Faith along, and not by works, well you get the message.

    Quote:.. Pew

The number of Christians around the world has nearly quadrupled in the last 100 years, from about 600 million in 1910 to more than 2 billion in 2010. But the world’s overall population also has risen rapidly, from an estimated 1.8 billion in 1910 to 6.9 billion in 2010. As a result, Christians make up about the same portion of the world’s population today (32%) as they did a century ago (35%).

Just when you think it’s going to calm down a bit, UP jumps you know who, while the Settlement battle of Amona in the West Bank erupts..!

    Remember this name: Jared Kushner.

Y Net News… For hardline West Bank settlers, Jared Kushner’s their man

For many in the Israeli settlement of Bet El, deep in the West Bank, Donald Trump’s choice of Jared Kushner as his senior adviser on the Middle East is a sign of politics shifting in their favor. They regard Kushner, whose family’s charitable foundation has donated tens of thousands of dollars to their settlement, as part of a diplomatic rebalancing after what they view as eight years of anti-Israel bias under the US administration of Barack Obama.

“He will stand up for our interests. I suppose he will lean in our favor,” said Avi Lavi, 46, who has lived in Bet El for more than 40 years. “He’ll be fair, as opposed to Obama, whose policy leaned always towards the Arabs.”

New US President Trump says his son-in-law Kushner, 36, is capable of brokering the “ultimate deal” to deliver peace between Israelis and Palestinians.

Roi Margalit, manager of the Bet El Yeshiva, a seminary complex with around 400 students, said Kushner, an Orthodox Jewish father of three, understood the position of Israeli settlers better than previous envoys.

“At least now we have someone who knows us,” the 43 year old added. “He will now have to study the other side (the Palestinians) and see if there is any common ground.”

Trump’s pick for Israeli ambassador has sparked particular enthusiasm in the community: David Friedman, who chairs the American Friends of Bet El Institutions fundraising group.

The White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Kushner and Friedman.,7340,L-4916441,00.html

Why hardline West Bank settlers see Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner as their man:

For many in the Israeli settlement of Bet El, deep in the occupied West Bank, Donald Trump’s choice of Jared Kushner as his senior adviser on the Middle East is a sign of politics shifting in their favor.

They regard Kushner, whose family’s charitable foundation has donated tens of thousands of dollars to their settlement, as part of a diplomatic rebalancing after what they view as eight years of anti-Israel bias under the U.S. administration of Barack Obama

Bet El, a community of 1,300 families perched on a hillside where many believe God promised Jacob the land, has been financed in part by donations from American backers.

Among its donors have been the Donald J. Trump Foundation, which gave $10,000 in 2003, and the foundation of Charles and Seryl Kushner, the parents of Jared, which gave $38,000 in 2013, U.S. tax records show.

The New York-based American Friends of Bet El Institutions hosts dinners to raise funds for the settlement, which overlooks the Palestinian city Ramallah.

Then Jared Kushner Pops up once again…..

Jared Kushner’s ready for his global debut. Could he be just the man Trump needs in the Middle East?

For starters, he is young, energetic, and earnest. For Americans who care about this issue and support Trump politically, Kushner’s got three attributes that make him the right choice for the job: he’s an outside-the-box choice, not part of the establishment, and is a proven deal-maker.

For Arab nations and the Palestinian people, there is the comforting matter of Kushner’s tenure at the helm of his family’s real estate empire, an experience from which he gained a deep-seated cultural appreciation for the region while working with, and among, its corporate power players.

For Netanyahu’s Israel, there’s a great deal of reassurance to be gleaned from Kushner’s Jewish faith and his prime position inside the president’s inner circle. Israel in the past has been especially concerned that their point-person be someone who’s high-profile and has unfettered access to the president.

In the Arab and Israeli worlds’ eyes, Jared Kushner is a perfectly plausible American arbiter of – if not peace — then at least more process, procedure and posturing.

As an envoy for Middle East peace, he insulates the administration and preempts criticism from the major parties to the conflict in a way no one else really could.

Perhaps that’s all the winning we really need

Given the most recent political climate, Jared is also someone POTUS can trust.

Twitter has Blown up over Fire Jared Kushner
Early Friday, reports emerged that Trump was considering ousting Bannon, as well as Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, altogether.

The White House has denied reports of internal strife.

Remember this name: Jared Kushner. Could we be seeing the beginning of the “Prince” to come? I for one will not jump to any such quick and fast conclusions on this. There are so many other factors to consider. However, it sure is an interesting question.

And it’s coming up again… Gonz brought up some points about Google and who is controlling the W.W.W., and all the Data, and The Company’s, there locations in Israel and other places in his video….

    He reads 1 John 2:18-25
1Jn 2:20  But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
1Jn 2:21  I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
1Jn 2:22  Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1Jn 2:23  Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

    unction, is translated
From G5548; an unguent or smearing, that is, (figuratively) the special endowment (“chrism”) of the Holy Spirit: – anointing, unction.
    Total KJV occurrences: 3

In Verse 2:21 He is not writing to us, because we DON”T know the Truth, It’s Because we “DO KNOW” the Truth..
Those Who have the “unction” Holy Spirit in them.
God also gave a another Gift and that is the gift of discernment…
In Verve 2:22 He who denies That Jesus is God is a Liar and an Antichrist…
whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father Matthew 10:33
In Verse 2:23 WHO EVER Denies Jesus also Denies God… But Those who Acknowledge Jesus HAS The Father…

As Thomas Ice Writes in the Blue Letter Bible Commentary section…
    by Thomas Ice

As he points out in Paul’s writings in 2 Thessalonians 2 and John’s words in Revelation 13. Both passages speak of Antichrist’s deceptions. “Not alone will the apostate part of the Jewish people be deceived by theses lying wonders,” explains Arno Gaebelein. “But also the apostate part of Christendom, left behind after the rapture of the church has taken place, will be deceived and swept away in the great judgments of that coming day.”

As Gonz points out that Jared is or claims to be and Hasidic follower. Here is what Got Questions has to say bout this and pay special attention to this part….

There is probably little difference in the fundamental beliefs between Orthodox Judaism and Hasidic Judaism. There is great distinction between the two lifestyles and religious practices. The Hasidim carefully keep the Torah commandments and Talmudic instructions in all areas, even in those less suitable for modern Western society.

One area of disagreement between Hasidic Judaism and Orthodox Judaism regards the current State of Israel. The Hasidim do not believe that the nation should exist unless it is under the direct control of the Messiah. Unfortunately, they reject the idea that Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah. “He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him” (John 1:11).

1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Gonz also talks about the Noahhide Laws and points out number 7…
7 Maintain justice. Justice is G‑d’s business, but we are given the charge to lay down necessary laws and enforce them whenever we can. When we right the wrongs of society, we are acting as partners in the act of sustaining the creation.

God grants temporary power to these false prophets and Messiahs so that they will be used of God to attract all unbelievers to themselves in unbelief. This is what is meant in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
Then I ran across this old Article from By David Berger

    July 21, 2014

Talking about Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, known as “the Rebbe,” was the leader of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement and is one of the most recognizable men in Judaism. Being the Messiah…

Steinsaltz informs us that despite the Rebbe’s discouragement, “many Hasidim” in his later years believed that he would announce himself as the messiah, and after his stroke, “for most Hasidim it was now an urgent possibility that the Rebbe himself might be the Messiah.” After his death, there remained a group convinced that he was the messiah, some of whose adherents believe that he remains alive. Mainstream Lubavitch, he continues, is not concerned with the identity of the messiah, although some of them “still cannot let go of the possibility, even as they understand that it is only speculation.”

Telushkin goes further in dismissing both the messianist belief and the Rebbe’s role in engendering it. He introduces his discussion of messianism as follows:

What I came to understand while researching this issue is that when Lubavitchers use the word “Messiah” in referring to the Rebbe, they do not mean what people think they mean. Perhaps the most surprising conclusion I reached is that the Messiah issue is, in the final analysis, a nonissue.

Telushkin goes on to explain. Maimonides, he says, provides criteria for a presumed messiah and for a definite messiah (a messiah “beyond all doubt” in Telushkin’s formulation). Since the definite messiah must gather all Jews to Israel and rebuild the Temple, it should be obvious that the Rebbe did not attain this status. What, then, do Lubavitch Hasidim mean when they call him the messiah? The answer is that they mean only that he was the potential messiah for his generation. How, then, do some continue to believe that he is the messiah even after his passing? The answer is that they found a few sources legitimating the belief in a messiah who returns after his death to fulfill his mission.

Thus far, I have been postponing any evaluation of these presentations. In this case, however, we encounter a problem of simple coherence that interferes with the continuation of straightforward summary. It is true that messianists provide some sources to defend their belief, but in what way does this address the issue of how the Rebbe could be merely the potential messiah of his generation after his death? Telushkin makes no genuine effort to address this glaring question.

Did the Rebbe Identify Himself as the Messiah—and What Do His Hasidim Believe Today?

    5:45 minute mark talks about..
    The Personality of Mashiach
    By J. Immanuel Schochet

Mashiach shall meditate on the Torah21 and be preoccupied with mitzvot. He shall teach all the Jewish people and instruct them in the way of G‑d. He will prevail upon Israel to follow and observe the Torah, repair its breaches, and fight the battles of G‑d.22

Mashiach will reveal altogether new insights, making manifest the hidden mysteries of the Torah,23 to the point that “all the Torah learned in the present world will be vain compared to the Torah of Mashiach.”24

Though Mashiach comes first and foremost to Israel, all the nations will recognize his wisdom and sublimity and submit to his rule.25 He will guide and instruct them as well.26

There is no need for Mashiach to perform signs and wonders to prove himself.27 Nonetheless, he will do so

Here is the full transcript of President Trump and PM Netanyahu’s meeting in Feb 2017.

I’ve cut the part which is most interesting and especially applicable to this discussion, read and be prepared to pick your jaw up off the floor!

PM Netanyahu: The two prerequisites of peace — recognition of the Jewish state, and Israel’s security needs west of the Jordan — they remain pertinent. We have to look for new ways, new ideas on how to reinstate them and how to move peace forward. And I believe that the great opportunity for peace comes from a regional approach from involving our newfound Arab partners in the pursuit of a broader peace and peace with the Palestinians.

And I greatly look forward to discussing this in detail with you, Mr. President, because I think that if we work together, we have a shot.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: And we have been discussing that, and it is something that is very different, hasn’t been discussed before. And it’s actually a much bigger deal, a much more important deal, in a sense. It would take in many, many countries and it would cover a very large territory. So I didn’t know you were going to be mentioning that, but that’s — now that you did, I think it’s a terrific thing and I think we have some pretty good cooperation from people that in the past would never, ever have even thought about doing this. So we’ll see how that works out.

I am not speculating that he is the actual Antichrist, but besides being the one most talked about to negotiate a Middle East peace deal he also went out of his way to purchase the buildings at 666 5th Ave. in New York. I believe he took out something like a $1.8 billion loan just to acquire this property. For whatever reason, this guy really wanted the 666 building.

This should be interesting as Terry said will President Trump want to move the US Embassy and make Jerusalem the capital a statement while in Israel… And at the 5::10 minute mark, brings up you know who, about the peace deal, Jerad Kushner … It’s the Donald Trump Ultimate Deal… Time will only tell if this is true May is going to be a very interesting Month…

Prophecy Alert: Trump To Visit Israel May 22nd; Big Announcement Possible!

    Terry Malone

His trip to Israel could also coincide with an important decision Trump will have to make on whether to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, as he promised during his election campaign.
The move would be a highly symbolic gesture valued by Israel as confirmation of the city as its capital, but strongly opposed by Palestinians and the Arab world.

Congress passed a law in 1995 mandating the move of the embassy to Jerusalem, but allowed the president to exercise a six-month waiver on national security grounds. Every president since, including Obama’s predecessors George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, have signed such a waiver every six months.
The last waiver, signed in December by Obama, expires at the end of May, when Trump will have to make a decision whether to sign it or follow through on his campaign promise to allow the embassy relocation.
