The incoming Donald Trump administration’s stated intention to move America’s Israeli embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem has been met with Palestinian opposition so vehement that one commentator describes the reaction as “making it look as if World War III will erupt.” But experts explain that such Palestinian threats are common, and that the proposed embassy move isn’t the massive policy change that it’s being made out to be.

~ ~ What is the REAL evil in the President’s U.N. vote- at the start of the Hebrew holiday? What did he just do to Israel? We need to see our task in 2017 (Hebrew year 5777) – Satan wants to divide Israel physically and America racially and socially. This is the year of the clashing of swords. The war of words and ideas will start January 20th. Obama will challenge Trump when he is out of office. That’s why he is staying in Washington. I believe the U.N. was where he hoped to go next with Hillary as President. This betrayal of Israel is a performance for the world stage – not just America. ~ ~ Lance WallnauDecember 30, 2016 at 1:46 pm #126544
I don’t know if this one event will cause world war III, but it sure will add fuel to the fire.December 30, 2016 at 2:15 pm #126547
It appears our strategy has been to keep the Sunnis and Shites divided by siding with one side only.
Obama has confused that strategy. Moving our Embassy to Jerusalem might unite them, but bring it on.

The waiver which president Obama signed regarding moving the embassy in accordance with the US law of 1995 runs out in May or June and at that point the president will announce the moving of the embassy.
Looks like they are fairly confident about the move, but we just might not be here to see it…February 14, 2017 at 8:08 am #128401
I hope so.

I’m not one to believe this would spark WW3. But it could spark Ezekiel war.February 14, 2017 at 10:54 am #128412
I am led to believe that there are many Muslims who advocate the building of the Temple for various political reasons. Curious as that might sound, accommodations for it’s existence and the embassies move speak to divine accomplishment.
As politically and spiritually charged the geo-political atmosphere is, hostilities seem inevitable. As I am deep into the throws of a personal “death watch” for my mother, seems to me that the same hold true for us watchers.
Organized religion and church is still in a saving and growing mentality, whereas I am in a death watch over the people and nations of the Earth!
As the plans of men formed in opposition towards God continue to solidify, confusion, fear and desperation seems to increase. An all or nothing mentality seems to appear.
I would also liken our new president and this nation’s division to another similar time in our history. Lincoln’s inauguration was challenged by many, the nations divisions were at an all time high, and the leadership of our nation was in constant question. How similar it is today!

I don’t think the moving of US embassy to Jerusalem shall spark a world war three. It may ignite the fuse for Psalm 83, and later on Ezekiel 38. Trump has been in office for few weeks. And it looks like he has been bashed and troubled by the left wing media like CNN,the leftist, the liberal, and his enemies. Now there comes the resignation of Michael Flynn. I am not sure if he can hold on to his promise that he shall move the US embassy to Jerusalem. So,let’s wait and see if this event shall come true.February 15, 2017 at 3:06 am #128443
I wouldn’t be surprised. But I thought Trump’ already re-nigged on his promise to move the embassy.February 15, 2017 at 6:53 am #128451
It’s impossible to know for sure what will come of the embassy talk. Not even Israeli news has any idea what will come out of talks between Trump and Netanyahu. Should be interesting to see how it goes today.Romans1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

The way I read it, President Trump can’t move the embassy from Tel-aviv to Jerusalem until that waiver that obama signed in December runs out in either May or June. So I will be watching very closely what happens then. Just my personal opinion. But in any event, we need to pray for President Trump, his family and our country big time.
