    Opened my devotional Bible this morning to today’s reading, and here are the first and last verses:

    “How long, O LORD? Will You forget me forever?
    How long will You hide Your face from me?”

    “Be strong and take heart,
    all you who hope in the LORD.”

    Just wanted to share that with you all. It sure made me smile!

    The verses are Psalm 13:1 and Psalm 31:24

    This devotional Bible is The Daily Bible, published by Harvest House, Eugene, OR, 1984.

    I Am the Lord! Besides Me there is no Savior. For there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved!...For in him we live, and move, and have our being!

    I am feeling like this today on so many levels…personal, ready to go home. Tired of being one of the belivers who feels the battle more than others do. I could use your prayes as I have a friend who is accusing me of being prejudice, despite the fact we have been friends for 10 years and a person at work is doing this to me, too. Why can’t we all just get along…I love people, period. 😥 I haven’t done anything to make her feel this way.
    GFather be with us today, we need You…

    We have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of God's power may be of Him and not of us. 2 Cor. 4:7

    Along those lines, this encouraged me this morning:

    Psalm 146: 5 & 6
    “Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help,
    Whose hope is in the LORD his God,
    Who made heaven and earth,
    The sea, and all that is in them;
    Who keeps truth forever…”

    He is our God, our help, our hope, so no matter what, we do have reason to be happy! Praise God for His goodness even when it is “behind the scenes” (not perceived by us)!!! :yahoo:
