Sorry, I just couldn’t resist! Just checking to see if you are all right, John.

    No, I’m not sleeping.
I’m doing ok, as ok as we can be in this world, lol. I haven’t been posting here much, but I still keep an eye on the threads at least every other day. I noticed this one last night but it was almost on the second page so I didn’t want to bump it to the top again just for me and thought of just including a quick note to Mom of 2 and Roses (the only people that had posted at the time) in the April birthday thread instead (which I’m planning on starting tomorrow) and hope they’d see it. But since myRockisChrist posted and bumped it a little I may as well let you all know not to worry. The people here have still been on my mind, the Lord knows that and I’m letting you all know too, to avoid any possible confusion or misunderstandings of “he don’t care ’bout us no more”. Lol (I hope no one takes offense to the way I put that, it was just in a playful way).

May the Lord’s will be done both here and in our lives. Hugs.

I’ll be more than happy to bump it to the top so that others who don’t visit daily have a chance to see it too! I’m here every day and multiple time a day and I just saw this thread so I know others would have missed it too and are wondering if all is well with you. I’m glad to hear you are doing well!

    Hey, everyone!

Yohanan, I understand that, and I agree, I know that people can miss stuff. But it’s just that there have been other threads here asking about me, because of me not posting much, and while I do appreciate people being mindful of me when they are, I feel like with having a thread just for me, especially if more than one with time, people may think I like attention or something. I don’t know, it’s probably silly of me to even think that, but that’s another reason why I didn’t feel the need to bump it last night and thought of instead just leaving a really quick side note on another thread I was going to make.

Even a quick mention of me in one of your prayers to the Lord, should I be brought to mind, would be more than enough, instead of having a whole thread just for me. Please don’t get me wrong, I’m not upset with anyone for starting threads asking about me, quite the contrary, I think that it shows people have a big heart, and may the Lord bless them for it. I’m just suggesting a quick mention of me in a prayer, either instead (if you haven’t yet) or just that (if you have), whenever someone is reminded of me or something.

Lol! I so know how you feel. I do not like, nor do I want to be the center of attention but what I’ve come to terms with is that my sibs want to pour out their heart and I have to allow them that. It still makes me uncomfortable but then I look at it the same way I view this thread, and that is that it gives me and my sibs the opportunity and privilege to go before The Lord and petition on your behalf or simply to display an outward concern for one of our own. It’s difficult for people like you and me to be receivers but sometimes that’s just part of being in a family of people who pour out the overflow of Jesus in their lives.

John, we can respect your wishes and do that for you – lift you up in prayer when we think of you!

I don’t know what you’re going through – if anything – but if we can ever help other than prayer, please let us know.

I Am the Lord! Besides Me there is no Savior. For there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved!

The trick is to take the lowest seat at the party and let the host of people bring you to a more exalted position rather than taking it for yourself. Which is instinctive behavior for those who have embraced being humble and meek, as the Lord demonstrated. Being willing to be a servant to others. It’s not instinctive to be held up and loved on, but it’s a blessing to others to allow it, so thanks for responding Brother John. You are well loved for good reason.

Well, Yohanan and TxThom, you make good points. I guess I hadn’t viewed it that way yet.

Rocki, thank you. Well, right now there are things that could use some work in terms of maturing in faith. But the Lord knows what I need better than I do and than what I can explain myself. Strength and guidance are some examples. A mention of me in one of your prayers could provide some support in terms of everything, as well as my own prayers, without going into countless details, lol.

Thanks to everyone for your posts, thoughts, greetings and possible prayers, and in particular to Mom of 2 for being mindful of me in the first place. :Hi:

:Hi: Hi John. No exalting here… just missing you, Brother. Will send up prayers as requested. One spiritual maturing prayer request going up. It’s good to know you are okay. We tend to wonder if all is well when it’s been a while since we’ve heard. It’s good to know you are thought of and wished well. We all need prayer. We are intended to be blessed to be a blessing to one another. We need your prayers and insights, too. The Body of Christ/Church needs each of us. Remember us as well we pray.

The eyes of the Lord range throughout the entire earth, to strengthen those whose heart is true to him.

Actually I was exalting John to a patient today. He’s a good example of a godly man even across the seas.

Thanks again to everyone for your messages and prayers!

TxThom, lol, well, that made me blush a little, but in all honesty, it’s all the Lord’s work. You know that. Whatever good there is in me, He gave it to me somehow, and there is still plenty to work on as well, as time goes on. As it is with all of us. :)
