Sometimes uninformed true believers, as well as worldly “professing” Christians who actually are not born again, both bristle when somebody like me insists on calling the holiday that the world refers to as Easter, Resurrection Sunday. If you happen to be one of the folks that bristles and does not understand, “What’s the big deal?” then I encourage you to pray, ask the Holy Spirit to lead you into truth, and then read the following link:

John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."April 15, 2017 at 8:20 am #130629
When I first started to learn the Word I was stumped why churches celebrate this holiday. So I called a pastor at the Calvary church in my area and was berated for even questioning this.
I assume they make too much money on this day to want to change and possibly offend anyone.
This is one of the things that has put me off from attending church for years now.
This and “Good Friday”…
